Well some more details maybe in order then, its a small module compared to other pathfinder modules. It was originally made for a game day to preview the pathfinder Advanced Player's Guide if I'm not mistaken. Maybe one of the first to be released for free? I wouldn't expect it to go on longer than a few months.
Basically, a tower which had been magically shielded for thousands of years has a section that crumbles in an earthquake, breaks the ancient shielding, and the party is tasked to investigate. Very simple and straightforward combat/exploration, but the environment and the encounters hopefully will give me a good grasp on 5e mechanics.

Unless you desire to run the AP with only two players, I'd be up for it.
There isn't many chances to play 5e around here, and even with 'mostly core' the game sounds nice.
A couple, mostly obligatory, questions: Feats allowed or not? What about Variant humans? Basic stat array, point buy, rolls or which stat generation method?(I'm partial to rolling, if only because I like it that way)

Sure, I like the feats. And yes to variant humans. Stat gen method I'll leave up to player, but rolls should be recorded in the thread. Same with starting equipment, players choice with pre-gen loadouts vs spending coin (rolled).
I wish I had the experience to up front list all the variants I'm cool/not cool with, but that isn't the case. If you're wanting something else you will probably have to bring it up.
Backgrounds though can be totally player created. I could be wrong but it seems pretty hard to break/abuse those.
If we have 3 PCs I could alter the encounters a tad without any DMPC or extras. Would you guys like to set a deadline for applicants? Another day or so? Just hit it with 3?

Yay to everything! I'll roll stats now and prepare a juicy character over the weekend.
Statty Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (6, 4, 2, 1) - 1 = 12
Statty Stat: 4d6 - 2 ⇒ (6, 2, 6, 4) - 2 = 16
Statty Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (6, 6, 5, 1) - 1 = 17
Statty Stat: 4d6 - 2 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 4) - 2 = 13
Statty Stat: 4d6 - 4 ⇒ (4, 6, 4, 4) - 4 = 14
Statty Stat: 4d6 - 2 ⇒ (5, 2, 4, 3) - 2 = 12
Holy Tiamat Mother of Dragons.

Yes, unless I'm making a mistake somewhere, you should reach lvl 2 during Fallen Fortress. Give me a few and I'll nail it down, I was still on the fence with one monster that isn't an easy copy from 5e MM. I'm still getting familiar with the encounter building.
I also mentioned committing to doing some adventurer's league or other converted pathfinder modules after if everyone was still interested.

Ok, I've changed my mind. I'll reroll the 6. I'm going to go with a dwarvish battlerager barbarian, and I'm not really sure where I'd put the six. I was originally thinking of a wizard or cleric with 6 strength or Charisma, but browsing through the Sword Coast Adventure Guide, I saw the battlerager and wanted to try it.
So here we go!
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (5, 3, 2, 6) - 2 = 14
Hey, pretty good!

Would you be interested in a 5th?
I really enjoy 5e quite a bit and would like something short after I've had a few PbPs fade out without conclusion. However, if you would prefer a party of 4, I'm cool with that. I just got into another game I'm excited about, so no hard feelings. But if a 5th player would fit your plans, I'm interested! :)

Is this game still a go? If so, I'd like to take Ems place. I've ran half of the new 5E boxed set in another forum, but have yet to enjoy 5E as a player. What type of posting rate do you expect? I'm off for the summer (school system perks) and can commit through August, maybe a month or two longer if needed.
Here are stats for my character if accepted:
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (5, 5, 1, 4) - 1 = 14
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 1) - 1 = 12
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 5) - 1 = 21
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 2, 3, 2) - 1 = 10
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (6, 1, 6, 6) - 1 = 18
Stat: 4d6 - 1 ⇒ (6, 5, 1, 6) - 1 = 17
