Agreed, sorry to see you go. Hope you find happy gaming and see you around!

As for Derrick's level up, I'm thinking of taking Alert. As tempting as it is to get 20 Dex, it feels just a tad unnecessary at this stage of the game, especially if we're hoping to take this for a while.

I was thinking at this point it would be easier to interact with the game as it should be a new adventure/new plot. Sorry to see you go Jiggy.

I've been consistently having trouble "getting into" the story, which I originally thought had to do with having not started from the beginning, but as time goes on it doesn't seem to be changing. Maybe just a mismatch of communication styles or something? I'm not sure, but in any case, I'm basically feeling entirely detached and uninvested, and just going through the motions. My spot would be better filled by somebody else, and this spot where you're leveling seems as good a point as any to bring in a replacement. Thanks for giving me a shot, and I hope the campaign continues to provide lots of satisfaction for the rest of you.

I understand, it was not the best spot to enter the adventure to be sure and I was hoping the end of the night would allow you to catch up with the plot.

Good luck in the rest of your games.

I think I may NOT replace that character slot and simply scale the combats down to fit the group as is. When we move to the next adventure will re-recruit.

I am not sure on taking something that raises my Str to 20 or taking the Great Weapon master feat to give me more attack options with the +1 great sword.

I would say more attack options as Ravenloft sometimes requires flexibility in combat...

Are we ready to move forward?

Quick question. Are we likely to stay in Pandarion moving forward or move to other Reavenloft locales?

I am certainly ready.

Man, I must have done something to anger the post monster. It ate the changes that I made to Khalid and my confirmation that I was ready.

Let's try it again. Khalid is all set!

I am all leveled up but I really want to get another pistol or two - I built this character to be a shooter and there's not been a lot of actually shooting :)

I took Heavy armour master. We need a tank.

You can pick up a few pistols the next day.

Woops, sorry, been busy settling in somewhere for spring break and figuring out how to get the wifi working for everything. Derrick is going to be taking Alert, I think. I'll update his profile soon.

I will give a few more days before I push forward.

Just an FYI, I will be busy all weekend into Monday. My last post will be tomorrow at some point and then I will be back to posting on Monday evening.

Shadow's Status

I'll give Khalid and Dunstan another day to chime in. Otherwise I will move on with the scenes.

Shadow's Status

Ok so if Dunstan wants to stay together upstairs to bodies, to the battlecscene, then to the Sage? (As a group :-) )

Male Human Rogue Assassin (Criminal) 6, HP: 37/37, AC: 19 (20-duel wielder)(20-SS Quick); Saves: Dex +7, Int +6; Perception: +6; Initiative: +4

I am bringing in a fifth player. With Kensignton and Wyatt dead I think the group could use it. He will be introduced in a way more conducive to success than that of Jiggy.

'Ello gents!

Thanks for bringing me on!

Of note, I have the spell "Warding Bond" which makes one character resistant, while giving me half their damage. The only hook is that you have to wear the special ring. I'm thinking that this might make the most sense if I already have a pre-existing hook with one of you guys.

Any takers? =)

(Also, I've taken the liberty of dotting the gameplay thread. No, you can't see it. It's invisible. ;-)

As fellow members of the Divinity Derrick and Bannock would at least know each other in passing although perhaps not personally as one is a monk and the other a cleric.

Okay, from what I can tell, the "Divinity of Mankind" eschews all other deities as myths, aaaand only allows humans. Almost as if one must beware the alien, the mutant...the heretic.

Oh my. You, of course, -know- where we MUST go with this, yeah?

In a solemn ceremony, Bannock stands in his thick armor, the surface polished to a mirror sheen, the moonlight reflectiveing serenly off his massive pauldrons. He presents the ring to his Brother in worship, Derrick.

The rings are engraved with a simple phrase, one which both embodies their parent philosophy, and promises the sanguine protection to come. The phrase is 'Caesar praesidium'.

The Emperor protects.

=D

But, but brother! You use magic, and magic is HERESY! Although your magic comes from our worship of humanity, so I guess it's okay? I dunno. Do we even have a codex?

Sounds good, though, and I look forward to your joining us!

Hey all! I'm just posting this into each of my active games to let you all know that starting this Thursday, I'm going to be going on a trip to France for my university. While we're spending the first few days in Paris and the last few in Bordeaux, the majority of the trip will be renovating a chateau in the south of the country, where the Internet will probably be spotty and I won't have much time to post. I'll do my best to keep up with games, and I imagine I should be able to get up a post every few days at least, but it will probably be less active than usual. Please feel free to take control of my character for the time being! I'll be back home come June, so it's just for a few weeks.
