Locals from towns bordering the woods share terrifying tales of this haunted town, but the citizens of Perdition's Point would have you believe it's not so bad. But with the recent disappearance of two of the local children, the town is on edge. Who will step up and debunk the chilling mystery? And who was responsible for such heinous crimes?

I don't think anyone's going to fight Eva for the small equipment. :)

The sheath is neat, but I'm passing it up because it would only apply to my backup weapons. It may magically fit to any weapon, but a bardiche just isn't something one sheaths.

Just looked up the tri-point double-edged sword. I didn't realize it was a reach weapon! I think Riley and I should take that and the katana for back up weapons (since we have martial proficiency, and a katana is a martial two-handed weapon). The only thing is that I don't know if I should keep two reach weapons and Riley keep the high-crit swords, or to split it so that we both have reach weapons.

The darkleaf lamellar is also very nice (+4 AC with no ACP!), but I think I'll stick with my MW Breastplate.

Thoughts :

When assaulting a keep. The following should not be the plan :

1) Fearless Leader uses spell to shout at enemy and try to Diplomacy bandits into mutinying.
2) Stealthy short range rogue/alchemist should not be kept in back line as Fearless Leader's personal heal bot.
3) Horse riding, Lance/Great sword Wielding, Full Plate wearing Fighter should not be assigned to Stealth Assault team sneaking into fort from underground tunnel.
4) Stealth assault force should not be considered 'distraction' from loud mouthed fearless leader attacking outside of fort.
5) Long Range Blaster Sorcerer should not be put in charge of Stealth Force.

Anyway, I'm thrilled to be able to play again, and hope I didn't cause too much trouble with my absence.

Aurora is finished and uploaded! Her profile may be still a tiny bit rough around the edges, but everything should be in place (build, background, appearance, and so on). She just needs a 'hook' to get to the party.

I don't know if you've given it any thought, and if needed I have a few ideas. In any case, feel free to change/alter Aurora's background after she came to Ustalav, if this helps you introduce her to the party (since her story as it is right now assumes her church sent her to P.P. after receiving news of the undead outbreak.)

The only thing on that list that really is of use to me, is the MW Small Dagger. I can't really use any of the rest of it.

Lineera MIGHT want that Inflict wand, for her... undead buddies (I have no issue if she does). I thought about keeping some of the small outfits, but then I thought about would Eva want it... Eva wouldn't want what that evil little cultist wore. :) I mostly want to restock things for alchemy, buy some scrolls for formulas... Maybe update her armor.

I say we should get a cure wand of some sort, even if it's back-up. I can mass do potions of cure, but this gives us a nice back-up. They aren't cheap though.

I figured getting the wand into party funds was more important. Both of the wands could be somewhat useful to Lineera, but Lineera knows inflict light wounds and hasn't had to tap out her resources yet in magic, so getting more funds for the party seemed more important.

I have 213 leftover starting gold as well, that I just saw I had when I added that MW tri-point edge sword to my stat block. I don't know if other people's personal gold (probably not that much for those who started at level 1, but maybe more for Riley?) is listed on the loot sheet. We could list our personal wealth separately--or at least as much as we're willing to reveal. ;)

EDIT: I marked some things in blue. If anyone doesn't want something to be sold, just clear the fill, or feel free to add your own blue (I used light blue 1 if you want to match the color exactly). I also listed some names next to gear, to indicate who's claimed it. As for personal funds, I think Lineera's got... 1 GP or so? So not much I can offer there. I'd say our personal funds should be ours to do with as we see fit. If it helps the party? Thank you kindly? If it doesn't? No big deal. Though I will say that if Cathran feels like putting her available money up for grabs in the communal pot, that'd be mighty kind of her. :)

To begin tackling the matter of who sells what... Depends partially on how much the party knows about each other. From what Lineera has seen, Mahb and Cathran are probably not going to be our best salespeople. And therefore wouldn't really suggest either of them really handle any of the buying or selling.

As generally the more successful of the party's negotiator, Lineera may offer herself up as the best potential salesperson unless it becomes obvious that the merchants of the city are unwilling to deal with a drow. Eva would probably be the next best bet to Lineera as she's an actual merchant unlike the rest of the party. Out of character, Aurora is probably our best option, but it's not terribly certain if this information would be known by the party at large, depends on if this would've come out in the two days since they've met or if discussions of selling loot would cause Aurora to hop to the forefront and offer her services in such. Riley falls into the somewhat rare category of not particularly proving himself bad or good at this task.

Anyway, if someone else handles all the mercantile, Lineera will probably spend the time trying to start a collection to plea the good citizens of Rozenport to help aid the troubled people of Illmarsh.

Lineera, you would know that Drow are not generally welcome. Basically people will be starting off one category worse (unfriendly instead of indifferent, indifferent instead of friendly, etc), which translates to a penalty on diplomacy check for buying/selling.

True, though even despite that, Lineera's probably still the best negotiator of the bunch if we exclude Aurora. ...Man avoiding meta-game sucks sometimes! :P But as stated, if her attempts were too unsuccessful, she'd probably pass the task over to Eva. And if known that Aurora can bargain like a champ, leave her to it in the first place.

Not really metagaming, if I understand Lineera's background, she went to PP to get away from people who didn't like her, and she was in Rozenport at one point. So she knows how people treat her.

Lineera mostly traveled just to try and spread her teachings, and more or less traveled with the expectation of being disliked. That said, she is definitely far more prone to stay where she's welcomed, hence her longer stay at PP even before the plot got rolling.

But since Aurora would be offering her help, then yeah, Lineera would certainly know that a Human Paladin of Sarenrae would definitely meet with much better approval than a heretical priestess of Pharasma, who's a Drow to just ice that cake.

So assuming no one disagrees, that's definitely the way Lineera would lean.

There's no real need to sell gems, they're compact cash. The jewelry is trade goods, so it sells for it's value.

The rest of the stuff sold for 50% +/- 16% based on rolls.

This has come up in another game I run, and I'm going to post it in all my games.

How much plot and RP with NPCs you get is directly dependent on how interactive you are with me in your posts. Please do not expect me to give you long, detailed, intricate RP if you are going to post 2 lines which consist of basically 'I go with the flow' or 'I go along with everyone else' or 'I wait to see what happens'. When you do that, what you are doing is saying 'I do not want to RP with you or the NPCs, I just want to read the story'. Which I can accept, but don't turn around and complain to me that other players are getting a much more indepth plot or role play situation.

I will repeat, how much RP you get is directly dependent upon you, and it's up to you to drive it. Get off your butt and make choices, seek out things that interest you, question NPCs, RP with your fellow players.

Look back at your posts, if you have posted some variation of 'I wait around' for more than half the last 10 posts, you are the reason you are not actively roleplaying. Those who wait around do just that, wait around.
