I thought gunslingers get a discount on buying ammo in PFS but I'm unable to find the source that mentions it. Then again, I could just be imagining things. :)
EDIT:
Found it here:
The following two feats function differently in Pathfinder Society Organized Play than they do in regular games:
Gunsmithing does not grant the ability to craft firearms, ammunition, or black powder. Rather, it allows the purchase of bullets, pellets, black powder, and alchemical cartridges (with 1 rank in Craft [alchemy]) at the listed reduced price, but does not grant a discount on the purchase of any firearm. Resold items gained through this feat are worth half the actual cost paid, not half the regular market value for the item. No PC can purchase a gun without this feat, even if they possess the Amateur Gunslinger or Exotic Weapon Proficiency (firearm) feats.

No it says the listed reduced price. I see no list and as I recall there is none in the UC. Which I do have... thanks for your rude input, cuz that was necessary. Does it mean the price it would cost if u did craft them?
It's listed in the description of the Gunsmithing feat. Also, no one was rude. Informing you that it's in the book and that you should have said book is not rude.

Dunn, Son of Absalom wrote:It seems that no crafting skills are legal for PFS play according to the guide PDF.Crafting skills to make items (such as using Craft (armorsmith) to make your armor) is illegal. The skills themselves aren't. In fact, they're quite handy for day job rolls.
There are also some scenarios that its helpful to have some ranks in some craft or another.

Yeah, that is a poorly written part of the guide, I suggested an edit to it here..

The prices listed in the bullet pricing thread are not currently correct with the revisions to the Gunsmithing entry on the additional resources page. All alchemical cartridges, including paper cartridges, are all discounted at 50% when the gunsmith has craft alchemy. The wording allowing paper cartridges to share the bullet, pellet and powder discount was removed.

This thread covers all of it regarding special material cartridges. 36gp per shot for an Adamantine paper cartridge, but worth it if you run into a Hardness 10 monster.

Magical ammunition must be acquired in lots of 50 (unless you have the "Custom Order" Boon, in which case you may acquire lots of 10 instead.
Gunsmithing reduces the crafting cost, but not the cost to make them magical.
For these reasons, there's very little incentive to ever pay for magical ammunition. Just enchant your firearms instead and you'll be good to go.
