Indulgence: Dajobas, Devourer of Worlds (OGL) PDF
Sinister Adventures
by Nicolas Logue
The Tulita tribes of the Razor Coast once bowed before his insatiate hunger and offered sacrifices of slaughter to his wanton maw. Forsaken for an age, Dajobas, the mighty shark god was cast into the deepest reaches of the Razor Sea. His hunger for carnage has festered in the lightless depths for hundreds of years, but his hour of apocalypse is finally at hand. Drawn to the world of men once more by the scent of bloody seas, Dajobas rises anew. Learn everything you need to know about this horrific deity including new domains, feats, spells, weapons, and a prestige class in this eight page obeisance to He Who Eats the World.

Logue has done it again.
This is absolutely everything you want a vile cannibal god to be. Whether you are running a campaign that takes place along the coast or actually on the sea, sends the PCs to dark jungles, or if you just want your players to match wits and swords with a truly heathen cult - Dajobas is what you're looking for.
The backstory, new feats, and magic items are awesome. The quality to price ratio of this product is insane. Dajobas does not disappoint.
He Who Eats the World will consume your imagination, and I can practically guarantee that you'll want to add Dajobas to the darker side of your world's pantheon.
This is what Sekolah should have been.
'Nuff said.
Very good work. Dajoba though not dead is stirring in his eternal sleep and this is going to send waves of terror in the razor sea as well as around my table. I really like the mood that is set in this Indulgence. Now I'm yearning for the dark waters of the Razor Coast book!
Not only was this PDF a great source of inspiration for my campaigns, but its a great advertisement for Nick's upcoming Razor Coast products. Lot's of great ideas in this one, and very intuitively developed.
This small suppliment continues to fuel my imagination daily since I bought it two weeks ago. This product serves as a stand-alone addition to an existing shore-line/water campaign. It also promises to add greater depth the SINISTER ADVENTURE'S new "Razor Coast" book coming this summer.
The Good:
The price was great, and was even better bought as part of a bundle pack of .pdfs from Logue's SINISTER site. The feelings of *hunger* gnaw at me as I designed some problematic encounters for my PCs, especially a recurring villian. The feats and domain (Hunger) were interesting and certainly unique.
The Bad:
I would have liked more flexibility with the PrC shown. While highly interesting and chaulk full of setting-free flavour, it seems like it would be an easy cut-and-paste bad guy, who also used all of the other feats listed. This is only my opinion, though.
OVERALL:
Why are you still reading this review? You should have bought DAJOBAS already and should begin penning your own comments! Obey! Man, I'm hungry...
Great Stuff, Nick!
A short resource on Dajobas, deity of sharks and hunger, who could easily slot into any setting with a sea-based element. Includes all the evocative fluff you'd expect from Nick Logue writing about a really freaking scary god, plus a couple of neat new magical items, some very fun feats (I really love Predator Not Prey), a new Cleric domain and an interesting (and *very* strong looking, wouldn't want to give this to a player) prestige class. Given Dajobas is being set up as a major bad guy(/shark) in Razor Coast, this pdf is a great little taster for the setting.
This “Core Beliefs” style article featuring a new deity – Dajobas – is well worth the price – and more.
The background, creation myths and details on the cult of Dajobas are evocative and idea inspiring. The crunch is extremely solid, with details on the new deity and religion, new feats, new magic items, a new monster and a PrC.
The information contained herein could be easily utilised to add spice (and carnage) in any campaign featuring ocean or coastal regions. It would be particularly useful for the Savage Tide AP, or adventures involving sahuagin, sharks or ocean travel. This supplement will also be invaluable for use with the upcoming Razor Coast Sinister Adventure.
Plus, Dajobas is really cool.
Picked this up with my Kobold Q download. Well worth the price. Wish I had this when I was running the Savage Tide. The article includes a wonderfully grisly background complete with pirates, cannibals, and were-sharks. Also a vicious monster, and feats, a Prc, and magic items related to the rather bloodthirsty cult of Dajobas. Easy to port into any setting and definitely worth looking at if you're planning on any nautical jaunts to your campaign. Anyone running the early part of STAP should love this.
Interested in seeing more on the Razor Coast.
If you are even only thinking of a sea-based campaign, you just need this pdf.
A brand new feral deity with which you can scare the living daylights out your players' characters, along with general setting notes and tie-ins for inspiration, a monstruous servitor creature that can eat a tribe of ogres for breakfast, wicked magic items, a vile PrC for the inevitable bad guy, and some more.
Just be sure of having the Jaws soundtrack at hand when you introduce this nightmare in your games.

Too bad the product couldn't include notes about how to adapt the new deity into FR, Greyhawk, and now Golorian pantheons.

Nope, but I'm sure people will offer their own ideas...I definitely could too. It's already been suggested that Dajobas might make a great incarnation of the Devourer in Eberron on another messageboard.
People will probably offer their own ideas on adaptation in our Forums too.
Actally, truth be told, because Dajobas is a "long dead god recently returned" he is pretty easy to drop right into any coastal campaign in any setting. I kind of designed him that way just in case people wanted to snatch him up and throw him into their world.
