I'm so sorry. I just don't have the bandwidth to keep up with all my PbP games. I took a promotion at work, and by the end of the day my brain just doesn't any power left for posting. I've enjoyed playing in this game so much, and I wish you all the best. Have great future adventures. I'll miss this gang so much.

Welcome back. Work is still crazy, but I think I can get going again on this.
I'm still reading through the thread so this was probably already explained. Do you roll the stats and then decide what race and class you can actually play with what you rolled? That sort of sounds amazingly awesome.
Is it too late to stick my nose in here to play? I've always wanted to try AD&D. On a I have way too many books. I have some of the brown Complete Guides and some of the Volos Guides that I've picked up over the years a secondhand book stores just for ideas. Now I have a reason to read them.

Ada waves her hand in front of her face trying to get the still humid air moving. "Now I wish I'd taken up fighting fans. At least I could use them too move a bit of air around."
Ada moves to Ryn. "I almost feel bad for him. I'd go crazy being locked up here for eons." She casts Cure Moderate Wounds
Happy Thanksgiving. Hubby and I spent the day together and made a small but yummy meal for just the two of us.
Isabel happily steps back away from the hidden door.
Ada waves at everyone to get within 30 feet of her, and Channels Positive Energy. She motions for the lizard folk to press close as well. She shakes her head as the wounds aren't healed as much as she likes and channels again. "I want to save my last channel just in case."
Ada gives the Evil Eye at the Golden Lizard Folk, and then laughs. It's more of a crazed cackle really. Her voice raises in creepy laughter. It shakes the confidence of the lizard.
"This has been given to us by the "rightful" law of this city. I'm afraid you'll have to go. Please move along. We have some cleaning to do." Davina sniffs as if the very air stinks to her.
Ada kneels next to the prone lizardfolk first. She touches his hand and casts Lesser Restoration. "This should help you feel better." She stands and moves to her next patient. She reaches out to touch his hand, and gives him a slight smile and shakes her head when she notices he's looking Zev. She casts Lesser Restoration on him, and stands. "There you go. Feel better friend." "I've done what I can. Zev time for breakfast?" She heads toward the door hoping Zev follows.
Ada wakes up the next morning, and finds a quiet place to commune with her Patrons. Erras looks like her normal healthy self, but looks more like a statue this morning. "Zev would you come with me back to the sick lizard folk? I can help the other two with their affliction this morning." She pauses. "At least one of their afflictions."
"Ok let's get them into the room." Davina starts dragging unconscious people into the room that Dom points to. She grins at him. "You don't happen to have your practice locks on you do you?"
Before the group leaves the cabin, Ada slips the charm around her neck. "Thank you Saersha. This is lovely." As the group is talking about understanding languages, Ada casts Comprehend Languages on herself. She stands with a stoic face as the lizardmen speak to each other. She pretends that can't understand them in order to have an advantage if needed.

Eustoma is so happy to have the hostilities end. She is also thrilled to be above ground again. She watches over the negotiations. When things have been settled. She waves goodbye to her friends, and heads with Sia back into the woods. She spends time building a small farmstead where her family used to live. She invites refugees from the war to start a new town with her. The town of Peaceful grows slowly. Eustoma stays out of the local politics. She takes more of a guardian angel role. Making sure everyone has enough food, and they stay safe. One day she looks up from a rare visit to the pub and sees a familiar face. It's a halfling with a limp. It's Cirieo. He's come to check on her, and the town of Peaceful. He decides to build an Inn, and settle there. After some time Eustoma and Cirieo marry. All of her friends are welcome in Peaceful. She keeps a room open at the Inn for them to stay at any time.
Ada makes her purchases, and takes the items for the list that she had given Ulfr at the Manor. She runs one last errand and arrives at the ship last. As she hurries up to the docks, and sees the ship she stops. Her eyes open wide, and she looks nervous. "That's a really big ship. I thought it might be, well smaller. Three days on that?" She fiddles with her armour and the sword at her side. "Eras you go first. I'll follow." The cat quickly runs up the plank and goes in search of Zev. Ada takes a deep breath and carefully walks up the plank. She tries not to look down in to the deep water of the bay, as she moves. She steps carefully as if she expects the plank to tip her off into the water. When she finally gets on the deck she lets out a loud sigh. "That wasn't so bad." Then the ship rocks slightly and she gives a small squeak. She looks around for her friends, and seeing Ulfr helping load boxes and move heavy things she heads his way. "Hi Ulfr. Is the floor going to do that a lot? You know move up and down?" She grabs a box to hold on as the ship's deck shifts again.
Ada speaks up The shard says go south. There's a swamp. I'm sure that's the Mushfens, filled with all manner of monsters. An ancient lighthouse beyond, towering above the mire surrounding it and glowing with strange, eldritch power. I also got a flash of a woman's face--one that bears a startling resemblance to Saersha." she looks at Searsha. "Do you have family that resembles you?"
Ada leans back. "Competition. At least we know who to watch out for. Give me a second." She pulls out her shard and concentrates on it. "Where's the next piece of you? Wouldn't you like to be with the others? You know you are the best.
Ada wakes up the next morning after the party with a smile. "Morning Zev." she gives the witchwolf a cuddle. "Ready for some breakfast? I think we've got a letter to deliver today."
I want to say I appreciate everyone's feedback and their thoughts. I will do what I can to be a more team cohesive player. I don't have anything to add other than that.
I'm inclined to let Dom come back when he can. Losing a parent is really rough. If we can find another player, that would be a good idea. We are low on healing. Davina will get more martial she's about to get studied Combat and Studied strike so her damage will go up some.
Ada gives Ulfr a small shake of her head. "It's nice to meet you. I'm sure. I'd like to know why you choose to interrupt a dinner party just to bring a note? There are small ones here, and I don't think drama in front of them is wise." She indicates the children who were she's sure staring at the lady with wide eyes with a tip of her head. She's sitting quite tense not exactly sure what the woman's point was in joining the party. Does she just want to ruin the party, just want to upset Searsha, or is there something going on here.

Jili jumps in between Lia, Drasven and Kharmid. She holds her hands out defensively. She tries several times to get words out in Common. It first comes out in Infernal, and then Celestial, and then finally, finally calms herself down enough to speak in common. "It's ok. It's ok. I think it was another haunt. She's fine. He's fine. Everyone's fine." She starts to cry. "Nobodies fine. This isn't fine. Nothing is fine."
Ada looks at the group of party goers. "What an eclectic group. This will be much more fun that I thought it was going to be." She smiles and moves into the room to wave at the children.
"I'm so glad you had time to help. I can't believe my hair is this pretty. I usually just wear it up out of the way. Do you think Zev will like it? He's so handsome most of the time, and his hair is amazing all of the time." She blushes as the last finishing touches are being made to her hair. "He bought this dress you know. It was so nice of him. It's the fanciest thing I've ever owned. I'm used to getting what's left after the gladiators go through them in the arena. I'm really glad I was able to find work with the Pathfinder Society. I got really tired of healing up my family so they could turn around and hurt themselves again."
Davina nods at Dom as they arrive back at the Tooth and Nail. "We can't burn down everything just because there are Loyalists there. That doesn't mean we won't crack heads or gut them. Who knows if the owner of the pub could be a friend." "You handled the Queen well. I was so stunned that I couldn't say anything" She grins at him. "Who knew that a bunch of rats tied together could be a Queen."
Ada is dressed in the silver gown that she purchased. She wandered over to Azura's room, and asked the Aasimar to please help her with her hair. Instead of her usual messy bun, her hair is down. The think black stuff almost falls to her waist. The dress is floor length, and has capped sleeves.
Ada gives a small smile as she listens to the ladies talk. I just have to talk to the cat for an hour every morning. Seems easier than what the ladies need to do for their magics. "Gorum is all about the battle. I guess "battle" could be seen in different ways."
She's from a group called Three Little Pitties All Breed Rescue out of Texas. The group has the doggos fostered for a few weeks to test for cat, dog, kid, aggression issues, and can let you know about personality. They will tell you if they think the dog is a good fit. In my opinion that's better than going to the pound and hoping to get a good one. Though we've gotten two puppers from the pound, and they were great dogs. We did have to be strong leaders with them.
My heart goes out to you Gary. I've had several pitties/staffies over the years. It takes a while to heal, and it's never easy. We currently have the cutest rescue staffie I've ever seen. Hopefully we have years with her. Tootsie It took us almost a year to be ready again after we lost our Lucy.
"I don't think so. We were getting nice clothes. At least I think that's what the plan was. Maybe we should check with Sheila and see if any more hints of those pieces have come along." she smiles a the thought of wearing the silver dress one day.
Davina does her best to disguise herself, but doesn't do the best job of it. She however is very quiet moving through the streets with Arani. "Want to try to get back to the Tooth and Nail or stay here tonight? I'm honestly afraid that Domitius will charge into the night if we don't make it back before too long."
Ada looks happy with the results. "Let's go shopping. Vell have a good day. You are going to enjoy this library so much."
Ada happily works helping Vell put their books up on the shelves. There is some good natured rearranging of the books between the two of them. There’s a division on which library organization to use. Vell wants to use the old Thessalonians system, and Ada she’s the more modern Abaslom system.
Ada looks around and with no sign of Ryn or Azura. Realizing that Ulfr is having way too much fun and won't be much help. She decides to take the lead in the discussion. "Mrs. Heidmarch. Vell is, well they are special. I believe we mentioned that they are a very special person when we asked about a job. Vell doesn't organize books exactly right." She gives them a wink, "They are very good at what they do, and will be a great asset. It's their nature that they are a little uncomfortable about. We promised that Vell could be themselves here, that they would be safe here, and have a job, friends all the things anyone wants. You know. I really hope that's true. You see well. Vell here is an ugothol." She takes a deep breath. "Vell is very nice, and was very helpful to us. I like them a lot. They need friends too you know, and a job that isn't in a gross dungeon with Mites." this part comes out in a rush of words as she grabs toward Vell's hand.
Sorry friends. I've had a week that kicked my rear. I'm doing my best to catch up, and try to have a post up by the end of today (Wednesday). I just wanted to let my games know I'm alive and kicking the week back as best I can.
Ada wakes up toasty warm. "This was much nicer. Thank you Zev." She picks up Erras from Zev and puts him on the floor. "Go on I'll visit with you in a minute." She gives Zev a hug and a shy kiss. "Sorry about the cat. He loves to mess with people. You'd better get to breakfast. I have to visit with Erras for a bit to get my spells for the day. I'll be down in a little while." Once she's done communing with Erras, she heads down to breakfast. She is happy to see a breakfast salad, and finds it really hard not to giggle as Zev studies it like the greens are going to kill him if he eats them. She looks around and excuses herself for a moment.
Heading to the doorway of the library she steps out. "Vell good morning. The book reading last night was so much fun, and you saved us from Ulfr's story. I'm sure it involved drums and a bar fight." She takes them by the hand, and encourages Vell to join them at the table. "It's all right. Come sit between me and Zev."
Davina pulls out the ring that Setrona gave them, and shows it to the caretakers. "His cousin said we might find him here. She's a tiny thing. I hear she has All the piss and vinegar of a fire giant crammed into someone not much bigger than a gnome." "We certainly don't want to inconvenience you. We wanted to make sure our friend was all right, and let him know that his team is doing well and free."
"What a wonderful book, and a wonderful story." She starts to leave and thinks for a minute. She heads back to the bed and tucks Vell in just like her mother used to do to her when she was a child. "Sleep well Vell. You are going to like it here." She turns and gives the boys a look as she leaves the room. "What? If they haven't slept in a bed in years, they haven't been tucked in either." "Are you crashing here tonight Ulfr?" she asks as they stand in the hallway of the guest wing near her room. "I think the room next to Vell is open. At least it was last week."
"Zev you ready to go to sleep? Let's share the covers tonight. I don't want to freeze." she blushes.
