She only resists a little as Dagmarr pulls her into the embrace since she was never used to being held before. She quickly relaxes though and allows herself to be held. Sighing quietly she closes her eyes as she leans into the cleric and wraps her own arms around her, "Oh Dagmarr....I've never felt this way about anyone before. I....I have to tell you, I've never actually been with anyone before....but I know these feelings are real." She says before getting quiet again. She felt like she was just stumbling over her words.

After a couple of minutes she says, "I'm sorry...I feel like I know what I'm trying to say, but it just isn't coming out right. I just...I think I need to explain why I react to certain types of contact the way that I do. Where I came from, you were taken from your parents at birth to The Center where we were cared for by machines basically. People that weren't really people. Anyways, they didn't really believe in showing signs of affection and we were all just expected to obey the rules and learn whatever we were supposed to be learning. It was a very rigid upbringing with little to no physical contact...unless we were being punished for something." She turns her head to the side and sort of lets herself become enveloped by Dagmarr before continuing, "This is the first time anyone has ever hugged me, so I'm sorry if I sort of pulled back at first, I wasn't really sure what you were doing. I've never had a relationship of any kind with anyone...I mean other than friends....am I making any sense? I just feel like I'm sort of babbling without really saying what I think I'm trying to say." She says as she stands there in the middle of the street, being held by someone who actually cared about her.

"You're making perfect sense. I can't imagine what it must've been like to grow up without affection or comfort. I consider myself lucky to be the person who brings out feelings like this in you, I.. definitely feel something too." Dagmarr says, trying to sort her emotions and support Rosa.

"You're with us now and you don't have to live without connections anymore, anytime you need contact, to be held or...anything, I'm right here."

Her revelation gave the cleric a true understanding of just how significant Rosa holding her hand really was. Holding her close she rests her head against Rosa's for a quiet moment, filled with a sense of...something powerful.

"The others are probably waiting for us." she says softly after a while.

She nods, "I know...I know you're here for me. I can feel it...and it feels really nice. I like it when you hold me, I feel safer than I have in a really long time." She says quietly as they stand there together.

Taking another breath she gently pulls back from Dagmarr while reaching up to softly caress her face with her hand before running her fingers through the mass of golden hair and soft braids, "Okay, I know they are and I guess we should be getting back, but....maybe after we get back from the mines we can talk some more, and maybe do more of this holding stuff?" She asks while looking into her eyes with her large violet ones that seem a little damp.

"I'd really like that." Dagmarr says with a warm smile, caressing Rosa's cheek. Taking her hand in her own, the cleric laeds the way back, glancing over at her companion every now and then.

Nodding again she heads back with her, "Me too." She's quiet the rest of the way back to the house, a wealth of emotion welled up inside of her and her brain trying to figure it all out. Her feelings were very strong for Dagmarr though, and that if nothing else, she was absolutely sure of.

Jerrica looks up as Rosa and Dagmarr return. "All set?"

She nods, "Yeah, we just have to go back after we're done at thed mines for the fitting, but the woman there said it shouldn't take long. Let me go up and put my armor on and get the rest of my stuff and I'll bed ready to go." Shed says before heading upstairs.

"Same here." Dagmarr replies, "Once we're armed and armored we'll be ready to go."

Dagmarr finds Rosa up in the room wrapping her studded leather corset back around her and fastening the many hooks down the front.

Once her armored corset is in place, she pulls on her long leather coat, and makes sure she has everything on her that she needs. Her bag is slung over her back, andc her warhammer is strapped to her back as well, while she just holds onto her gun. Once she has everything together she looks at Dagmarr, "I think I have everything I need. Ready to go?"

Finishing up with the straps on her chain shirt, Dagmarr rebuckles her seatbelt and picks up her shield. "All ready." she says with a smile looking every bit the battlefield cleric.

She nods while smiling as she takes the time to enjoy the clerics beauty. She was even more stunning in her battle gear. Taking out two of her potions she hands them to Dagmarr, "Here, you can use these on me in case something happens and I fall unconscious. I have two more on me, so don't worry okay?"

Taking both potions, she places them securely in specific spots in the potion belt under her robes. "While I'd very much rather not having to use them, I'm glad I have a way to help you if you go down in a fight." she says quietly.

Seeing the look on her face she instinctively takes Dagmarr's hand and brings it to her lips for a brief comforting kiss before looking her in the eyes, "I understand, but listen...I'm going to be very careful and I really don't have to get close in a fight...unless I run out of bullets. I will do my very best to stay on my feet. I just got here, I don't plan on leaving you anytime soon. Okay?"

"Probably." Sig answers Thorgr before running upstairs to get her own armor on. "So she seems to have made quite an impression." she quips to Jerrica as they change.

She smiles and nods as they head downstairs, Dagmarr's hand in one of hers, while her other hand casually holds her rifle on her shoulder.

Nodding towards the door she keeps Dagmarr's hand in hers, "Then by all means, lead the way. Oh, is there anything I should know before we get there? Aside from they like to hide in the dark? I just didn't know if we were going back to the mines to look for something specific." She says, while trying to remember why they were going back there other than the spider things, "Were we going there to look for anyone or anything specific?"

Frostine thinks for a moment, "Well...there have been several disappearances from the town, and after fighting that other gross half spider half dark elf thing, we found some of the people that had gone missing...so it stands to reason that there might be others that are being held deeper in the mines. There was also an issue with rust monsters, which are like big ugly metal eating bastard bugs, and we think they were being controlled by someone to keep the dwarves out of there mines....so after some investigating our best guess was the dark elves which have a city around her somewhere, but really hard to find. It's just a lot of little things really that when all balled up together creates a lot of big problems. We're not really sure what all we'll find as we continue on, I guess we'll just deal with things as they come up."

Looking at the gunslinger a little curiously she kind of cocks her head to the side, "No...it's not really cool in there, it's still pretty warm and humid."

"And a word about the rustmonsters, they literally rust and eat metal, so they go after your weapons, and armor if they're metal." Dagmarr adds.

"Hmmm...well, my armor is leather so it should be okay, and I should be able to stay out of their range with my gun if we run into any of them. I'll just try to keep my distance and stay back with Frostine to protect our rear. Does that sound okay?"

Rosalina just looks down at their entwined hands and smiles as they walk out of the door together, and head towards the mines with the others.


The mines are fairly quiet upon your return.
