Song of Marching (Su) At 3rd level, a skald can use raging song to inspire his allies to move faster without suffering from fatigue. By expending 1 round of raging song, the skald invigorates allies within 60 feet, who may hustle for the next hour; this movement counts as a walk (not a hustle) for the purpose of accruing nonlethal damage and fatigue. The skald must continue to perform the song for the remainder of the hour, otherwise its effects end, but only 1 round of raging song is expended for that hour.
Uncanny Dodge
At 4th level, a skald gains the ability to react to danger before his senses would normally allow him to do so. He cannot be caught flat-footed, nor does he lose his Dex bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. He still loses his Dexterity bonus to AC if he is immobilized. A skald with this ability can still lose his Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against him.

One of your parents came from the North, and the tales of the frozen lands at the top of the world that you grew up listening to excited your imagination. Alternatively, maybe one of your ancestors passed on the blood of some frost-rimed creature. You feel most alive during the chill of winter, and as a child, you spent hours playing in the snow. You rarely feel the cold, and you’ve always had a restless longing to travel north. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Fortitude saves, as well as cold resistance 2; this resistance does not stack with cold resistance gained from any other source.

Background:

Born into a long and storied line warriors and skalds, Sigrdrífa was raised on legends. Herself the proof of the Frost Giant blood in her line, a legacy of her great, great, great, grandfather’s unusual choice of a wife, the young girl, while a fair hand at battle, excelled in the re-telling of them. Her words showed the gift of inspiring and inciting the fury and greatness of old.

As the daughter of the acclaimed Helm, skald to the third strongest Jarl in Odenheim, she was given a bit more freedom than most, helping to culminate a wanderlust and desire to not simple tell the great stories, but live them herself. With her parents blessing that she set sail south, ending up in East Alarion as a freelance adventurer for hire. Ironically, her first real job after a few menial runs, was to take her back North, to explore the unchartered Frigia.

Sigrdrífa

Her tall statuesque frame and powerful, yet feminine for alluding to the frost giant blood in her veins, Sigrdrífa is a rather stunning example of a Viking maiden. Standing at 6’0 of curves and sleek muscle, she draws the eye from the moment she enters the room. Pale of skin with long flaxen hair, worn in twin tails on the sides of her head, the mighty beauty’s most notable features are her icy grey, almost crystalline eyes, which seem to glimmer with a barely restrained fierceness.

She wears a knee length leather dress, slit up the sides, with metal disks sewn into it, an unususal form of studded leather armor, adorned with metal bracers and armbands, with boots and a heavy cloak of fur, she is the very image of a northern warrior.
