Leaving the dragon to its own brooding, the Narg Nasty Six set their path back toward the village and onward toward and old foe. Travel back to Levoca is swift and relatively easy. It appears that after the burst of violence and the subsequent armistice, even the forest itself has taken a pause from its usual defensive obstinance. The villagers greet the returning heroes with a mix of relief, joy and wariness for they had all heard the dragon's anger rumbling through the night air. Questions abound. What happening to the missing animals and their missing friend? What was that horrible roar in the night? Is the threat gone? Should they flee or fight? What will the heroes do next?
Such is the keen interest and awareness of the potential danger that even in the cold, dark hours of the early morning when such folk are usually tucked warmly and safely in their beds, all are awake to greet the heroes and all gather near to try and hear the tale and hope that the trouble has truly passed.
