Thanksgiving is coming up.

I am thankful for Storymaster running an awesome old school game. His maps and links are awesome.

I am thankful Uldar our rogue tries to move things along.

I am thankful we have a fighter that deals massive damage, but sad our bard that gave +2/+2 buffs is gone as we were using six of them a round with my animal companion and druid on full attacks.

I am also thankful we have a good group and less than 2K XP to get to level 6.

About Brandor
He has a Heavy steel Shield +2 (from the dam), a scroll of restoration and a potion of cure serious wounds which are from the party. Shall we retrieve it before he leaves? Or is it lost with him?

Available money
With current selling we have an amount of 24967.18gp (will be a bit more if we sell the axes) after selling all the stuff. Yes we have been for months in that whole it was time to cash.

I propose to give back 4000gp to each of us 5. The remaining 4967.18gp I propose to spend on healing meterials, such as 2x wands of cure light wounds, scrolls of neutralize poison, remove paralysis, calm emotions and the like useful stuff we are going to need at one point or the other.

Any thoughts? Do you know what to do with your 4000gp? ^_^

Wow Uldar this is awesome. I would love to have the gear you outlined for Velcore. I have not been with the group for most of the 1st level so I will only take 1000 gp of the 4000 gp the gear is more than enough.

We could use some haste scrolls--to buy them 375gp. Half that to scribe. Wands at 225gp per charge is best value.

Definitely doubles Roran's effectiveness.

Most of the magic users you have met use divine spells instead of arcane spells. The wizard Burne in Hommlet is willing to teach the following spells to an arcane caster, at the price of 1,000 gp each. (Yes, he is somewhat greedy...).

Since Kalizama can scribe scrolls, my suggestion is to allow her to scribe the spell Haste into her spellbook, if one of you has a scroll with the spell inscribed on it, and then she can scribe additional copies on scrolls.

During your downtime, Kalizama analyzes the scroll found among the remains of the Otyugh creature recently defeated. The scroll has seven spells written upon it:

Friends, Magic Missile, Knock, Mirror Image, Web, Slow, Mnemonic Enhancer.

She may cast them from the scroll, or can use the scroll to transcribe new spells into her spellbook.

I think I will scribe a lot of scrolls like Remove Disease and Remove Curse stuff like that so I can sure almost anything while we are in the dungeon. Sound Good?

Cost was 1950 gp it will take me 36 hours to scribe them so 3 days.

Bull's strength should go on me when I no longer can cast it myself, it won't stack with belt of strength.
magic weapons should go on Uldar when he is shooting his normal bow versus a target needing magic weapons.

1000 gp is too much to learn a lvl 1 spell. Guess we can pass there.

I suggest also having something against confusion:
Calm emotions
Supres charms and compulsions

Kalizama can remove the staggered condition also with haste :)

We can move faster with spells active.


I do not have the spell Haste and it is not in the list of spells that can be bought, so we are out of luck there.

I have transcribed the 7 spells on the Otyugh scroll into my spell book, and will scribe backup scrolls for several of the more frequently used spells.

I have also transcribed the 6 spells on the scrolls that Uldar allotted to me that are not already in it.

I learned the spell Protection from Evil from wizard Burne (1000gp).

I will scribe a scroll, one each for the following spells:
Protection from Evil, Mage Armor, Knock, Lightening Bolt, Flaming Sphere, and Stone Call. (750gp)

That will leave me with 3254gp.

One tapestry sewn with gold and silver thread is worth 2,000 gp, but the others have no worth. The ewers and cups are of pewter and small worth, and contain wine. The robe under the pillows is the garb of an important guest of the Fire Temple. The box by the fireplace is filled with billets of wood, charcoal, and kindling for the maintenance of the fire.

I have no desire for the bow. My dex is too low to make good use of it.

I'd like a cloak of resistance at some point but I'm not in a dire need of it. I don't seem to be targeted by too many spells.

Roll for your HP as normal with the hit dice of your class. Our house rule is that if the hit dice results in a 1 or 2, you can reroll for a better result. Then add your CON modifier, plus any other HP bonuses that may result from a Feat, the +1 for advancing in the same class, etc.


HP: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
HP reroll: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
HP=45+10=55

I'm fine with it. It's a nice enchantment, but I have bonuses for 2h weapons and I would never hit anything at range with my awful dex mod.
