It's a cracking deal indeed!!! I kinda get the feeling that they're (not so) subliminally pushing a sci-fi theme to help with Starfinder later on... And having an entire AP bundled, a great bargain for budding GM's (also Iron Gods is a great Series) - I'd be up for it but I subscribed for Iron Gods and have got quite a few of the early comics as well...

Ziomarra Callinovo |

It's also a tie-in with Pathfinder: Worldscape, which dropped Kyra, Seoni, Valeros, Merisiel, Ezren, and Harsk through an interdimensional portal into a science-fantasy world, where they meet up with Red Sonja, John Carter, Tarzan, and other pulp heroes (who have Dynamite comic titles).
I already had the PDFs of all six volumes of Iron Gods (I subscribe to the AP line), plus the Beginner Box, Core Rulebook, Strategy Guide, Bestiary, and Ultmate Campaign. I have a print copy of Distant Worlds, but didn't have the PDF. The rest were all new to me. Still worth $15!

Congratulations to Ziomarra for reaching 1,000 posts - as a reward, she receives a Blessing of Desna.
Splendorous Ally (Sp): Once, as a standard action, you can summon a lillend azata. You gain telepathy with the lillend to a range of 100 feet. The lillend follows your commands perfectly for 1 minute for every Hit Die you possess before vanishing back to its home on Elysium. The lillend doesn’t follow any commands that would cause it to take evil or overly lawful actions, and the creature could even attack you if the command is particularly egregious.

As a heads-up, the keyboard cover of my Surface has carked it. I'm relying on handwriting recognition, which is useless and cramps my hand, so I have to post from my (cracked) phone. As a result, I'll be spotty for a few days while I wait on a replacement.

Teldon Moore |

Hey guys I know this is bad timing with Teldon being front and center in this interaction but my wife's grandfather just died and my posting is going to be spotty at best for the next few days. If you're able to write the scene in such a way that Teldon can be botted please do, otherwise I'll get back to it as soon as I'm able.
edit: maybe make it a matriarchal society and their leader will only talk to one of the women- Teldon could be relegated to the role of translator?

Shadlah Broken-Earth |

Man, every time I need a couple of days to work through my posting backlog, I come back to things I can't help with >.>

Ziomarra Callinovo |

I just want to let everyone know that I'm flying to San Diego for a few days tomorrow. My posting will likely be rather erratic until Tuesday. Zed: Please bot me as necessary.

Joanna Whitehall |

Have a safe trip!

GM Zed |

Sorry, I should have thought to ask this before but how long did we spend healing troglodytes? I'm guessing my minute/level buff wore off?
At least an hour... plus, there is this...
Until, after maybe a mile, they arrive at an intersection of four tunnels forming a sizeable cave...
...so your min/level buff is well expired - sorry!!!!

GM Zed |

Note that I am not going to run this combat on a map.
...it's just an open cavern with few features of note - and the insects aren't particularly tactical - as the map (there is one in the book) isn't connected to a wider netwirk of tunnels, etc I decided not to bother and go with theatre of the mind!

Briana Kaddren |
Hey guys, I'm going to be pulling 12s at work for the next three days so you may not see much in the way of posts from me during that time. I'll try to check in/keep up as much as I can but it may not be until Friday night or Saturday before I'll get caught up. As always, feel free to bot me for combat/skill checks as needed!

Briana Kaddren |
Hey guys, a forum friend got invited to give an interview soon about PbP and has a thread to try and collect some thoughts from the wider PbP community. If you've got a few free moments, check it out and maybe even leave some thoughts of your own if you're so inclined :)

Shadlah Broken-Earth |

Hi guys, something's happened with life, and I may be spotty for a few days/a week while I get my head sorted. I'm safe and well, but I need some time to adjust, so I'm taking a step back for a bit. I'll still be around, and may post in discussion if something needs my input, but I can't make promises for gameplay.

Joanna Whitehall |

As said elsewhere, hope thigns work out for ya! We'll be here when you get back. :)

Joanna Whitehall |

Thanks! Now do we go left, right, or open the box? ;D

Joanna Whitehall |

Zed, I hope you can forgive the antics of your players. I think Haladir and I just made a mess for you. :D

Briana Kaddren |
So, I'm doing a thing after finally being talked/prodded into it by my friend. And we've each even been challenged to run our own actual game/scenario sometime within the next few months once we're done with this training run...wish me luck! :)

Joanna Whitehall |

Good luck! Let us know how it goes. :)

Shadlah Broken-Earth |

Pssssssst... GM... Jo rolled a natural 20 on her combat maneuver. And according to the "Combat" chapter of the CRB...
Rolling a natural 20 while attempting a combat maneuver is always a success (except when attempting to escape from bonds), while rolling a natural 1 is always a failure.
Shadlah's action will depend heavily on whether or not you retcon Jo's success/failure.

GM Zed |

Sorry - didn't see the question... Paizo isn't showing New Posts to me at the moment so it didn't flag - apologies!!! So, Joanna's CMB Bull Rush was a success... she did push the golem backwards - the fact that she didn't push by more than 5 feet is just about degrees of success.
Also, apologies for GMPC'ing you when you were waiting on an answer post... the perils of a GM who tends to have free time on the train in the morning!!!!

Ziomarra Callinovo |

Paizo isn't showing new posts to anyone at the moment. For those of us who GM multiple games, this is making our lives a bit harder.
In unrelated news, if anyone backed the Aethera Campaign Setting kickstarter back in Fall 2015... the PDF shipped yesterday! It's gorgeous... and it clocked in at 580 pages! (That's 180 more pages than promised!) They say the physical book should ship in mid-to-late summer, hopefully by GenCon.
And... it's kind of fun to see one's own name printed in the "Kickstarter Supporters" section!

Joanna Whitehall |

Yeah, it's a pain for those of us in a number of games as well, although I think one of them is probably dead now. The last gameplay post was over a month ago and it was faltering before then. Nothing for it but continue checking all the threads.
Oh, and re: water walking ability, that just ain't fair!

This has been something I listen to when writing some of Jo's more character intensive scenes, like her dreams or when she's dealing with the effects of her status and her stepmother's influence on her life. The next one on the list is similar, so it gets a fair bit of play when I'm developing Joanna's character, too.
Funnily enough, I can trace Joanna as a character all the way back to the character I came up with in high school that is pretty much a clone of Saber from Fate/Stay Night, which is where that song comes from.
That said, pretty much anything that is determined or regal sounding could work for Joanna.

Teldon Moore |

Teldon's theme song is "4:33" composed by John Cage

Ziomarra Callinovo |

Teldon's theme song is "4:33" composed by John Cage
Seems appropriate... I hadn't thought of Teldon as much of a music fan...
Not sure what Ziomarra's theme song might be.
It's either "The Butterfly" by the Celtic new-age band Orison or "Seriously Mysterious" by heavy metal band The Sword.
("Witchy Woman" by the Eagles is right out. As The Dude once said, "I hate the freakin' Eagles, man!")

Joanna Whitehall |

Moving on from planning to mayhem.
Sometimes I wonder if I should have built a barbarian instead of Joanna. It's not that I'm not happy with her (I love playing her) but more along the lines of what would happen if Teldon had to deal with one of my more boisterous characters?

Shadlah Broken-Earth |

Sorry for my silence, people. I'm running my first PFS special tomorrow - #8-00: The Cosmic Captive - and I've spent an entire week getting ready for and stressing over it. After tomorrow it'll be over, and I can get back to posting.

Briana Kaddren |
Yes, good luck and have fun! :)
@Joanna - Things would've also been quite a bit different if I were playing my summoner instead of Briana. Palomia's eidolon Relas is nice, but Palo is a bit of a grump. She'd butt/have butted heads with Teldon and Joanna both (for different things) if she were tagging along :P
