Grinds looks into the camera and pulls the drone close to his chest so they see the Knight of Golarion sigil.

Let's talk about what it means to be a Starfinder. It is to willingly go out into unknown spaces. Deal with the unknown. You have watched us gleefully from your couchesss. Probably stuffed your gulletss with snacks and soft drinks. Maybe the show was too long so you took a break to play a vidgame. I never had that. Haan live as hunters. My expulsion from the clan was for being too curious not for being too lazy like all of you. We were out here risking our lives. Sure the robots think they are dwarves. Think this is Golarion. Harmless. But what if they weren't. This could have easily been filled with fiends, we may have had to defend the Pact Worlds from unknown horrors while you got fat on your couches. You wanna do something with your lives, join the knights. Join the Exo Guardians. Be better. I'm done with this.

He drops the drone and goes back to work.

Liberty's Edge

Holsin’s very disturbed by the cave-in that nearly killed him. Despite his tireless piety, it seems that Torag is angry with the dwarves. He is quite open to discussing his concerns and theories with the Starfinders, including his suspicion that the dwarves are near the surface. For generations his people have climbed higher and higher in the Darklands, following Torag’s prophesied tremor that began the Quest for Sky. Ever since, Torag has rumbled periodically, coaxing his people to ascend. Now Torag’s miracles have become less powerful, which Holsin believes is because the god’s power is diluted by the influence of surface faiths with which he must contend. The “short orcs” have also returned with magic wands from the surface to fight their age-old enemy. Furthermore, the orcs have used vile surface magic to channel the sky-realm’s toxic air into the caverns and kill the dwarves.

Lynn puts her hands on her hips, raises her nose into the air and announces "Alright! You guys might be just a teensy bit confused about things, but your big sis Lynn is gonna help you out!" She grins, striking a pose for the camera that veers towards parody. "Those short orcs sound like trouble, what with their special magic wands and toxic gas and all. Maybe if we can help drive them out all of you guys will be able to finally get to the surface? Wouldn't that be super great?" She pats Holsin on the head.

"Can you tell us about the magic wands and the toxic gas too? We'll have to prepare a bit if we're going to have any chance to stop them!"

"This is really hard to compute, the relationship between "little-orcs" and the goblins we encountered earlier. My circuits are heating up just thinking about it!" A confused Pytho-7 says, the lights on his head revolving. "The must be a logical explanation. I hope you can understand their beliefs Lynn."

Liberty's Edge

Holsin describes the half orcs and those listening understand he is describing goblins and their weaponry and that it is a race the dwarves never encountered, the way he is describing the tunnels indicate that some sort of fumes are escaping that are less then healthy to the dwarves but the starfinders might be able to make it through due to their advanced gear. If the team instructs the dwarves on where to go they will slowly make their way towards salvation's end exit while they would carry on to take care of the goblins.

When the team makes their way down the tunnels it takes them another 90 minutes before they are slowly stepping into more and more toxic gas, it becomes so dense that the visibiliuty is reduced to 60feet. And with that it seems the team has stepped into what seems to be a cavern filled with gas for as far as the sight goes.

Site has been pretty unstable yesterday and today. Hopefully that doesn't become a trend...

Before leaving, Lynn activated her armor's environmental seals and turned its interior comms to broadcast to her party and the camera crew. Once the party is on its way, she offers "Those poor dwarves, or robo-dwarves, are really confused! All that's stopping them is a few little goblins and some gas. I bet we'll be able to take care of both in no time! And I've got my fingers crossed that if we can get them up to surface level they'll realize there's nothing to be scared of!"

Brimming with positivity, she leads the way forward through the gas. Based on the fact that you rolled initiative, I assume we detect some sight of enemies. What do we see and hear? And are we supposed to be on the last map? The one with all the rock spikes and the chasm?

Liberty's Edge

Lynn's missiles take down one of the little goblins who falls down with a few singed holes in his body. His little friend has enough and decides to fade into the fog and can be heard running off.

Just after the camera crew takes the last set of pictures, Wazasha asks aloud, “How about we hear how they’re wrapping up the event in the studio?” She pulls up a program on her wrist computer, which plays the live audio feed with Zo! shouting excitedly.

“What a discovery! What a destination! What a band of unlikely heroes! What could lie deeper in Salvation’s End? Find out on the next episode of Live Exploration Extreme! when the Starfinder Society returns to—” “What?” shouts Luwazi with alarm from near Zo!’s microphone. “That was not part of our deal, Zo! You can’t just add a sequel when we haven’t—” Zo!’s voice insistently cuts back in. “Ha ha! And now a word from our sponsors!”

A booming add for Nova Solutions blares out of Wazasha’s computer before she closes the program, rolls her eyes, and orders the teams to retrace their way to the surface. The Team might be eager to explore the simulation gallery beyond, but Wazasha warns them that there are likely more deadly threats beyond, and that Luwazi Elsebo would want to give them a proper debriefing before sending them deeper into the unknown. Furthermore, there’s still the question of what to do with the Marbleheart dwarves. The gaping hole through which the team arrived and the open door into this chamber shatter the artificial existence in which the dwarves have lived for at least a century, and the existence of a larger galaxy beyond their tiny world may inspire some to travel the stars. For others, the stress may be too much without patient mentors to guide their path. It’s clear, though, that given the malfunctioning machinery, remaining in the simulation isn’t a viable option.

Back on the Exemplarion, Luwazi seems somewhat frazzled as she meets with the Team to hear their un-glamorized accounts of their expedition. She reports that Zo! is desperately trying to negotiate for additional filmed excursions, but so far she’s left him with a curt “We’ll see.” Prior to dismissing the Team, Luwazi asks for the group’s thoughts on whether Live Exploration Extreme! should return for another episode or not. Otherwise, the Starfinders are free to partake in the endless festivities on the Exemplarion, where they can bask in the fame and infamy of their respective performances.

The Starfinders arrive back at Absalom Station shortly after the live broadcast reaches the Pact Worlds. Rora, Lynn, Kemple, Pytho, Verus and Grinds get invited as guests to a host of programs, game shows, nightclubs, and other events. Sadly, the fame only lasts for about a week, after which the news cycle quickly latches onto new short-term celebrities. It’s only a matter of time before the Starfinders receive their next call to explore the galaxy and make a name for themselves.

Lynn finishes her song, bows for the camera and waves with huge motions with her hand. "See you later everyone!!!" She calls to the audience before the feed cuts to the studio. While Luwazi and Zo! chat, she smiles cheekily at her party "Anyone else think we're not really the stars of this show? People love that Zo! guy."

Back with Luwazi: Lynn gives the first seeker an energetic high five, following with "Everything taken care of Luwazi! Dusty and Kemple and Rora smashed all those goblins, and all the robo-dwarves are free to travel to the stars!" She grins, half joking. "I think we should definitely come back again! Maybe there's something else super cool down here!"

To her party, gives Dusty, Pytho and Verus a thumbs up and a "You guys did AWESOME! See you in a mission again soon." She pops down to Rora and Kemple's level and gives Rora a high five and a "You too, see you out on the Infosphere!" and can't help but give Kemple a big hug "And you were soooo cute! I bet everyone that watched is going to totally want to chat with the Doc! Good luck with all you're new fans!"

Once back on the Station, Lynn leverages her short term fame to get a few low-key mentions of her music and latest album, Sunbloom, out into the larger Infosphere.
