Glad to have you back, Fez! I'll echo Dissa in hopes that your recovery is well under way.

GM Fez |

Yep, everything is now clean and good to go. If anyone has dayjob checks I'll be needing those to get these chronicles ready.
Also, now we're to the point where I ask for preferences between splitting the tables or making one larger table of 6. We've got
Dissa
Vindler
Anthys
Qiote
Bozmir
Dulomak
And maybe Jeza (don't know his schedule)
Thoughts?

Dayjob, Prof (Soldier): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
I like the idea of a larger table because it gives us more ways directions we can go to coordinate teamwork feats. Right now, Anthys and I are really in sync with Shield Wall, but it seems like Qioté and Alan have kinda been left out of the teamwork aspect. That may just be because they haven't reached the point in their builds where they will really start clicking in on those, but it'd be cool to have a few more choices for coordinating our maneuvers.

I think that we need to get an aye or nay from Jeza before we make a decision as to keeping the groups separate or merging them. If we dont get a response I think we merge or recruit another person or two, but I think a deadline either way should be given.

![]() |

Oh, sure, I'll take a chance on Day Job instead of taking 10.
Profession Soldier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Bah.
I think smaller tables move faster. Fewer PCs and sometimes fewer opponents. To help out those who have different builds and aren't benefiting from Shield Wall, I have two ideas for level 2. One is another level of fighter, which as Drill Sergeant lets Anthys share Shake It Off. The other is dipping Brawler, since many teamwork feats are combat feats (though not Shake It Off). This would also mean Anthys could take Ftr2 at 3rd level, qualifying for Lastwall Phalanx as his shareable feat then.
I am more interested in defensive teamwork feats than the AOO ones, but Brawler could let Anthys use the latter if he is temporarily with such PCs.

I think I would prefer the smaller tables from the following perspectives, but I could go either way:
1) Pace - I really liked the pace of this past game, and large tables can bog down in PbP.
2) Theme - Anthys brings up a good point on AoO vs. Shield Wall vs. Other.
That said, both groups have been really awesome about posting frequently, and I think Vindler highlights an great option: Multiple sets of teamwork themes in one group could be really cool! There's a significant potential to have multiple teamwork feat trees shared between different characters, which would be extremely dynamic and flexible.
Most importantly, Dulomak is spot on about input from Jeza, who said he needed a break through the holidays.
I think that all sounds fun!
No Day Job
Thank you for running, FezBarid!

I am good either way. My main interest here was to get a good look at teamwork feats in action, so from that perspective, a larger table works. On the other hand, smaller tables allow GMs to play as well, which may be useful to keep the interest high!
Qioté is really sort of built to teamwork with his mount (and a cavalry), but I could retool him before level two for more of a mouser type, which might work better with the group teamwork feats. I have to admit, having the mount in a group without does sort of distract from the effect, and I think I can keep the same basic flavor with some work.

Glad to hear it all worked out well, Fez!
Day job:
Perform(percussion): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
I know I joined the recruitment thread quite late, but I'm surprised there wasn't more discussion and analysis of feat choices. I guess that's just my inner optimiser talking.

![]() |

Bozmir's mention of the recruitment thread raises an idea. We could go back to the original interest check thread to see if anybody from that would want to jump in. It does seem like ElterAgo, who originally proposed the idea, is back on the boards.
The end of L1 is the place to get new PCs, because they can retool existing 3-XP PFS characters to join in.

![]() |

What does the DM think would be the best course of action for the group? If we split up what would the party make up of the group be, how many martial, arcane, etc. do we have now?

GM Fez |

I'll reopen the old recruitment thread until Monday see if we can't get a few more to balance things out, and as Anthys said, any character with 3xp would be good to help immediately.
Dulomak - Martial/Secondary Divine
Anthys - Martial
Bozmir - Secondary Martial/Secondary Arcane/Skillz
Qiote - Martial
Vindler - Martial/Secondary Divine
Dissa - Martial/Secondary Divine
is what we currently have, at least in my eyes.

I was just making a character for another game and realized that, for an arcane caster, the Valet archetype for familiars is a good way for a wizard or witch to make use of teamwork feats. Thought it worth mentioning.

![]() |

Perhaps we should try to avoid dying in the optional encounter before starting a new table...

![]() |

Yeah I wondered about that too. Haha! Plus we need our Chronicles so we can get up to level 2 for those who might bring a rebuilt character to the table.

![]() |

Thank you so much!
Can you change my character number to -7?
I transferred him to a new profile because of the old module.
Thanks again for running.

![]() |

Thanks, Fez! Mine looks good. I'll get Vindlér updated to lvl 2 over the weekend so he's ready to go whenever we're ready to start the next one.

![]() |

Dissa is powered up to Level 2 (pretty easy for a martial). Do we have a plan for the next game?
I really like this group, and I really like you guys and/or girls

![]() |

Vindlér is leveled as well. I'm pretty open for our next few adventures. I'd like to bring up Tome of Righteous Repose, the new 3-7 evergreen, for when we hit that level. Got a little way to go before then though.

![]() |

Faithless and Forgotten sounds great! I really enjoy the multi-part scenarios, and we have the perfect group for continuity.
Let's do that :-)

![]() |

Faithless and Forgotten works for me too! I've played the first one CORE and I'm currently just starting out pt 2 (again, CORE), but I can avoid meta-knowledge.

![]() |

Hello! Looking forward to playing with everyone. Faithless and Forgotten looks good to me, I should be ready to get started when we're ready to go.

![]() |

Just checking, is everyone else assembling then meeting me, or are all four of us assembling, then meeting the Master of Swords? We have very similar names.

![]() |

Anthys, Vindler, Qiote, and Marcus: GM Fez told me to jump right in here...
Are you all going for Shield Wall? what other teamwork goals are you guys going for? (if that's still the plan) With this bloodrager (very limited in feats) I was planning to take Power Attack.
Stats to follow tomorrow morning, but here's the reporting info:
Jeydahvu
PDK
PFS #4456-6
Faction Scarab Sages

![]() |

Anthys has Shield Wall, Shake it Off, and Scion of the Lost Empire. He's willing to be the anchor for other PCs' teamwork feats as much as possible.
Marcus will gain benefits from Anthys's Scion feat, and Vindlér will gain benefits from Shield Wall. Anthys can share Shake it Off once per day, but if you wanted better saves you could take it and have it always on when you are next to Anthys.
Not sure if Qioté was going to rebuild upon hitting level 2 (which he has done).

![]() |

Shake It Off is pretty badass. If this is for PFS though my Oread is probably not the best bet... I'm tempted to make another level 1 for this. I'll put the stats tomorrow but I think I'm gonna go human Eldritch Guardian with cat familiar (mauler). Lots of teamwork there.

![]() |

I am - almost done. Actually, I didn't change as much as I thought I would - little more focus on strength, and going to change my teamwork feat to something everyone can use, since I can share it - and the mounted one doesn't work well in this group. Any ideas?
