Flanking could be resolved if one or more of us picks up Outflank. Vindlér would probably be a good person to take this, since he automatically gets the benefits with Solo Tactics, and he could honestly use the bonus to attack since that wasn't really the main thrust of my build when I put him together.

Ways to boost damage output would also help quite a bit. Though I suspect that will be less of an issue with Elaril around.

Anthys will take either Weapon Specialization or Power attack upon leveling to 4 after this scenario.

WS is +0/+2, and PA is -2/+4. So the difference between them is -2/+2. That's not a great trade-off, but he does hit pretty consistently.

Ooo, excellent! I agree that I would expect the rings to function in a stacking fashion, since they're separate items, so I would expect them to be separate sources. I do see the argument against it though, so I wanted to ask. I think the distinction between B and C will be very relevant, actually; they're expensive, but not so much that we can't all have a pair by level 8 or so with enough cash left over for the essentials. Income ramps up pretty hard at the higher levels. Honestly, Marcus might eventually get a Hand of Glory so he can wear 3.

As an additional note, I found this feat poking around: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/duck-and-cover-teamwork/. If we were able to get that somewhere into someone's build and share it around with rings of tactical precision, noone would ever fail a reflex save on our team ever again. Get evasion somehow, and we become effectively immune to large classes of AOE damage. EDIT: Also an extra +3 or more to AC vs. ranged attacks.

I do like Power Attack for Anthys. It is a classic choice for a reason, and although it will be a few levels before Marcus' build fully comes online, I look forward to being able to give Anthys [+4 base, +1 trait, +4 from 4x Rings of Tactical Precision] = +9 to hit on all his attacks in a round with Aid Another. With a move action.

Question regarding plot and where we are at: are we carrying the cargo we're supposed to carry? or do we still have to get somewhere to get said cargo?

GM Fez mentioned a large fight on the other side of the bridge: I'm confused if we've been sent to assist these people or continue with our cargo and avoid whatever battle is going on there. Thanks!

You've still got the VCs body, its with the camels and water merchants behind you. Once Gaspar was distracted by your arrival the captives from the rest of the caravan started fighting back, but your mist caused you guys to miss it.

I settled on Barroom Brawler for Anthys's Level 4 feat. The times when you might need Blind-Fight, Rat Catcher, or Soulblade, are rare but the feats are invaluable then. And if they don't come up in a given scenario, Dedicated Adversary or Dirty Fighting are options.

While I slow-tracked Infernal Inheritance to let Marcus catch up, I was hoping to take this one fast-tracked to get full gold. It looks like you marked full out-of-tier gold but only half XP.

Having Anthys at 9.5 XP rather than 9 doesn't really make any difference (unless we slow-track something in the future) and I would rather have the full GP, so if you can switch XP to 1 instead of 1/2 that would be good.

What are you thinking of doing next? I would be happy to give Fangwood Keep a try if we are all Level 4. Is Marcus still L3? Should we do one more 1-XP scenario before trying Fangwood? Or just go for it?

Beyond the Halflight Path is a 3-7 evergreen that I just did with another character. Would be happy to do that. And From the Tome of Righteous Repose is a 3-7 evergreen as well. In the latter case, I suppose it matters what kind of "crazy tough" Tome really is and what the challenges are. I have heard it is really long; Halflight Path wasn't (took us 5 weeks PbP).

From the previous survey of scenarios played, there weren't any more Season 0 scenarios that worked unless Berato has replays available. (Or if we want to do Voice in the Void, I have a replay available. Prince of Augustana would require both Anthys and Vindlér using replays.)

I've not played Fangwood Keep or Beyond the Halflight Path. I have just finished Tome of Righteous Repose recently (the Tusks version) but I've only played it the once so there are the other paths/stories we could do instead.

Also, happy to stay in Season 0 if we can find something that fits. I've played 1 through 8 & 23 but none of the others that we are in tier for: 0-13 Prince of Augustana(1-5), 0-14 Many Fortunes of GM Torch(1-7), 0-17 Perils of the Pirate Pact(1-7), 0-24 Decline of Glory(1-7).

Out of Tier: 0-16(5-9),0-20(7-11), 0-22(7-11), 0-26(7-11), 0-27(5-9), 0-28(7-11).

If we move to Season 1 then I've only played 4 (unfortunately that includes 1-35 Voice in the Void as well as 1-39 Citadel of Fire, 1-51 The Shadow Gambit & 1-52 The Twofold Demise).

Thanks, Fez! I think I'd like to do the same as Anthys and fast-track this one. The extra half point of XP won't make a huge difference either way, and I'd rather get the full XP moving forward unless we specifically need to slow down for something.

Nice job everyone! The chronicle looks good to me. I have not played very many scenarios, so I should be able to do almost anything, especially from the earlier seasons. I do kind of like the idea of trying From the Tome of Righteous Repose though.

Marcus is still level 3. He'll turn 4 after our next mission.

Sorry about that, the weekend decided to start kicking ass a day early. Anthys, Vindler, I'll get your chronicles fixed and resent as soon as I am able. So I'm hearing an adventure to Anthys and Vindler's home is in order? We can jump to Fangwood after. And I'll be sure to avoid the Tusks story for Elaril.
