Rasamoro Nagaji |
"LET US PRAY!" Rasamoro roars as he summons the divine power of Gorum into his body.
________
That plant effect on the floor is sick! Are any of our buff spells still in effect? Cast Divine Favor.
DM Beckett |
Could Skarja tell us how to use the gems? Or was there time for our more knowledgable pathfinders to spellcraft them?
Unfortunately it's just a bit of flavor. But, if you are interested, the Xill have some magical stones they wouldn't mind giving you, for safe keeping, and they will tell you how to use them.
Nana Grilka |

Lol. If they'd talk instead of attacking, Nana would be happy to help them find somewhere/someone to incubate their eggs! btw, are flying creatures also hampered by the plant life in this room? Considering summoning mephits, or a manticore maybe.
Eladrian |
Eladrian pockets his chosen gem with a few words of thanks before heading through the door with the rest of the team.
GM: These effects are really awesome. Could you please PM me and let me know how you are doing that?! I would love to use that on my own maps.
DM Beckett |
Sorry, guys/gals. I am on the verge of deploying, but unlike every other time before hand, have had almost no time off. I'll get this going again as soon as I can.
DM Beckett |
Rasamoro begins his sermon by inviting power to flow through him as the Xill take arms and begin to move forward.
I'll say that flying creatures are not hindered by the undergrowth, but it really does not say either way if it is just on the floor.
ROUND 1
Rasamoro ()
RED Xill (), BLUE Xill (), and PURPLE Xill ()
Torean (), Eladrian (), Rémy (), Nana () and Kernuffle ()
BLACK Xill Leader ()
Kernuffle |
Kernuffle advances through the undergrowth, ready to defend his mistress.
1 move action. Ready action: attack any enemy that comes within reach.
ready bite: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Since Kernuffle has Combat Reflexes I'll also roll his AoOs just in case they're needed
AoO 1, claw: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
AoO 2, claw: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
AoO 3, claw: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
AoO 4, claw: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Well let's hope we won't be needing those last three AoOs!
Nana Grilka |
"Good boy Kernuffle! The Holy Mama loves you!"
Nana casts Confusion, with the burst centred where I have put an X on the map. This should catch all the enemies, as well as the weird plant in the unlikely event that a mind-affecting spell would work on it.
spell resistance CL check vs Xill boss: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
spell resistance CL check vs alien plant: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
spell resistance CL check vs red Xill: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
spell resistance CL check vs blue Xill: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
spell resistance CL check vs purple Xill: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Will DC 19 or be Confused for 9 rounds.
Was going to open with a summons, but the enemies being nicely grouped together tempted me to try this instead.
"Watch and see what the Holy Mama's magic does shipmates!"
And since she has a move action spare, Nana also activates Copycat (1 mirror image, duration 9 rounds).
Torean Spellbane |
Torean points at the Xill on the upper level. "Mage! Watch yourselves!" The dwarf casts a spell to draw on the might of Torag. His eyes burn with divine justice as he stares down the spellcaster.
Cast Divine Favor as a standard action, Swift Action to activate Justice and Destruction Judgments.
Eladrian |
Eladrian struggles forward through the thick growth, eyeing the creatures before him. He focuses his attention on the two Xill closest to him, studying their movements for weak points. As he does so, he pulls out his bow and takes quick aim at the nearest creature. Burgundy
Attack: 1d20 + 14 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 2 + 1 = 25
Attack: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 9 + 2 + 1 = 15
Dmg?: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 2 + 1 = 11
Dmg?: 1d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 1 = 10
Rémy Târeaux |
Harrow: 1d6 + 1d9 ⇒ (3) + (3) = 6 The Desert
Rémy steps forward and casts haste on the whole party.
"Cross quickly the desert my friends, that we might prevail"
haste on party
DM Beckett |
Calling on sacred powers, Torean makes himself ready for the coming battle as Eladrian takes aim, and fires off two arrows, only hitting once, but drawing dark blood and causing the Xill to squeal in pain.
Remy then draws a card, a special card, the inverted desert, drawing through him powers from that iconic land that quickens all around him. At first, it seems as though the world is slowing down, and perhaps it is, for one can never really know.
Nana calls on her Mommy's own special caress, sending waves of unholy power throughout the room, but focused only upon the enemies. Sadly, not a single one seems to be affected, perhaps having some sort of innate resistance to Mother's call.
vs SR: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 <>
vs SR: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 <>
vs SR: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 <>
vs SR*: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13 <>

Will Save DC 18: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 <>
Will Save DC 18: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19 <>
Will Save DC 18: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26 <>

Will Save DC 18: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 <>
Kernuffle advances a bit as well, staying with the group and itching to lay the smack down. The leader begins offering a crude prayer, and suddenly his form begins to waiver ever so slightly, becomes something like a mirage.
ROUND 2 <Haste>
Rasamoro ()
RED Xill (-11), BLUE Xill (), and PURPLE Xill ()
Torean (), Eladrian (), Rémy (), Nana () and Kernuffle (ready)
BLACK Xill Leader ()
Just wanted to give everyone a head's up. I'm deploying in less than a week, and so I am going to go ahead and report this either Friday or Saturday, just so that no one has to wait on me incase I have no internet for a little while, (for full credit). I'll wrap things up, and I do feel really bad about how slowly this game has been going. Generally, I have a few days that I can not post occasionally, but I honestly expected this to have been done almost a month ago.
Rasamoro Nagaji |
Rasamoro pushes forward as far as he can towards the light red Xill. Finally close enough to an enemy, he thrusts his sword right into it!
________
+1 Adamantine Longsword (Divine Favor, Haste, PA): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 351d8 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Crit Confirm?: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 231d8 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
I understand GM Beckett! Good luck out there!
Eladrian |
GM Beckett: I have played in many of your games, and never once felt rushed or cheated. You are a really good GM, and I enjoy your games immensely. Real life comes first, especially considering what you do. Take care, Be safe, and your fans will continue to line up for spots at your tables. Just saying..
DM Beckett |
I appreciate that. I'm creating Chronicle Sheets now, and will be rolling for Boons, doing wrap up, and posting the Sheets soon. I seem to have forgotten to ask for Day Job rolls, and so, for the time being, will have to use the honor system for that.
Torean Spellbane |
Torean wipes blood from his warhammer. "Good work, though I don't ever want to see the inside of that ship again." He nods to Eladrian. "Nice working with you again. Call me if you ever need some help."
He starts to say something to Nana, but then decides better and shakes his head. He slowly backs away from the Lamashtu worshiper.
Rasamoro Nagaji |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
"Rasamoro always ready to make baby," he declares confidently, hitting his fist against his chest. "Then Nana and Rasamoro pray and share many battle stories."
________
Run Torean Spellbane, RUN!
Eladrian |
Eladrian is in the middle of responding to Torean when the subtext between Nana and Rasamoro hits him like a ton of ugly. The half elf quickly grabs hold of the dwarfs baldric and flows along for the ride as they run for the nearest tavern to drink away the mental images that are now forever scared into their heads! Over his shoulder, he waves a hand at the others, and disappears around the corner.
Great playing with yall! I hope to see yall around the boards in the future. Nana: Although Eladrian is a bit put off, I think I would rather enjoy the RP that could come out of some of my other characters! You certainly have an interesting character there, and play it well!
