By the way, I've never stated this, but better late then never. For "percentage rolls", I follow a very simple rule I stole from someone: Up is good for PCs, low is bad for PCs. I started following this rule about halfway through the campaign (before then, it was "Up is good for the roller").
Carina can keep her crit, but keep this in mind for future reference—your post confused me a bit before I noticed the "50+ = Miss". :P

I was just looking through the timeline for the Adventure Path, and I noticed the time gap between Diamond Lake being founded and Balabar Smenk's arrival in town. This got me wondering--would Astraden have been born before he ever arrived?

Yeah. Her parents died about two years after Smenk came in, though I didn't figure out who they worked for before that.
Astraden's gonna try spreading conspiracies in the Flophouse and Wierus' church for the next week or so. Hopefully that'll be less game-dominating than failed assassination and incarceration.

So, a brief sidenote, since I know at least some of the players here glance at what others in AoW are doing when they aren't posting in the game:
Yes, I am posting in the Pathfinder Online forums and neglecting my games. Temporarily, that subforum has gotten a higher priority than normal, as some friends of mine have gotten caught up in forum politics and are intent on tearing each other apart. I'm a bit preoccupied trying to keep an eye on the place (and our settlement's own forums) to make sure things don't escalate.
Just so you guys don't think I'm whining about schoolwork and just using the extra time to fool around on game forums like I usually do.
I'll start making game updates soon—definitely sometime today, though the exact time is uncertain since I'm not sure I can access the game info I need on this computer.

Well, do we all definitely want to walk (5 day journey) or buy mounts? (I'm down for splurging on a horse, but it would be pointless as far as travel time unless we all got one. Although I suppose we'd still be traveling at Spiny's (non-quadruped) speed, so... yeah, nevermind. Walking is fine.)
