mules:

You will notice despite them saying that superman is weak against magic that magic never does any serious harm to him.

Aww that's the class i made lol

I feel like there should be a drum roll or something.

Drum roll please, sorry this took so long. I was so spoiled for choice it took me a while to decide! About 16 applications, I’ve expanded the group to take 8 as I expect a few to drop out but who knows! Now onto what you’ve all been waiting for while talking about superman…?

Old smokey Bill brings up his hand to his mouth and coughs. “Frik, Frak, might you bring your masters sheet up forward and help collect the rest?” Two imps fly off of someone’s shoulder at the table and start to gather up the sheets of paper that were filled out. The imps place the sheets neatly in Bill’s lap, he then leafs through them briefly. He turns to the first person saying.

Lawyer He nods ”Hmm, I best be careful what I say to you now? Hehe”

Bill turns his head to the next person Leiara, who would’ve thought the others offer you a place on this council. Oh sorry ignore me, I did not mean to insult your .. intellig… I mean beauty hmmm yes.”

Bill flips over the page staring down at it trying not to look up at the next person. Aurelie, dear child. You really do not need to bring.. him.. in here do you? He is rather unsettling.

Bill scratches the back of his head. ”Moving swiftly along… Iresh, sir. You do realize we have chairs here. There is no need for you to bring a palanquin into the office. Oh no matter…”

Bill spies two dancing zombies behind him dancing along to thriller, he turns back around to look at the next person. Nini, really there will be a time for celebration shortly. The adventurers would make wonderful decorations for the party I’m sure.”

Bill then looks around a bit. ”Frik .. Frak? You picked up Shard’s sheet but I don’t see him.” Bill feels a sharp slap across his face, he begins to rub his swollen cheek. ”Yes sir, your technique and timing is impeccable. At least I know you are here.”

Bill redresses himself then looks at the next person. ”Oh dear… er… Malkavian, your ancestors aren’t here can you stop talking to yourself.. I mean honestly.” Bill uses his smallest figure to fiddle with his ear. ”At least I will not hear whatever you are hearing..”

Bill picks up the last page, quite confused. Min? or is it Kent? You’ve filled in far more information then I asked for. I really didn’t need to know the name of the mountain this city was founded on. Is that .. a dissection of an .. owlbear?”

Bill gets up then bows. ”No matter, I am glad you have filled out all your reports. Please follow me so that we might equip your regalia. Your subjects need to see you in your glorious splendor!”

Everyone selected may go to the discussion thread, thanks everyone for applying! I’m sorry I couldn’t take all of you, I really wanted to but that would be too much for me to control. :(

Sadness...

"Splendid, sir. Please sign here and we can get started. " ;-)

I'll get my wizard spells together ASAP. Just wrapping up a project at work and it's been sucking a lot of my extra time. It ends after tomorrow though.

Eeh, showing up to a Hot Rod exhibition at the last minute and entering 4 wheels and an undercarriage really didnt leave me expecting much. Oh well, cheers to the selected.

Just be sure to fuss over your appearence in my memory, kay?

Snap, well maybe next time. Congrats for those who got in, have fun!

Dm,

Pardon if I missed it, but are we doing bonus 0 level spells for high stats?

Don't mind TCG, he's clearly forgotten which thread he's posting in.

It happens fairly often. That sayin about one's head being attached or loosing it definetey applies to TCG...

I say he already lost it though

I was wondering if you had room for another player?

Well someone did just leave, but I am unsure of how we would introduce a new player at this late stage considering the nature of the game.

The Red Dragonborn sits back down at the table somewhat battered and bruised from a recent argument.

"Ah most embarrassing, it seems some of the previous rulers have been usurped. By there own people no less. It seems that we need to 'vote' in new replacements for them. So as before may we fill out the new men and women and others to join us in our crusade to conqueor this plane. Hmm yes, this might be a plan." The Red Dragonborn sighs.

"There is a little more paperwork that initially thought but no matter, I am sure it will be fine. Now then my former minions, which one of you will take up the mantles left behind by your predecessors?"

Game got down to 3 dedicated members with a 4th one on the way, most of the dropouts have been due to real life commitments. We are looking to re-bolster the ranks a little. The application process is the same as noted on page 1.

One thing will be added to that however, don't worry about filling that bit out until we get you into the game. We have just started using the Ultimate Campaign rules for kingdom building. We will be using that here on out to help out the adventuring and for the plot to unravel.

I do not expect many applications but I am looking for about 3 players to fill up the slots. We currently have a knowledge based wizard/oracle, a vampire sorceror/oracle and a melee specialist ninja/druid. Preference will be given to applications that involve some sort of marshal leader or front line defensive character as the group seems to be lacking those.

dotting while I think of concepts :)

Wow, I just happened to stumble back across this at the right time it seems. I'll start thinking up a concept to enter as I think I can do better than my previous entry.

I'm considering an Aasimar Pirate Captian (Bard/Ranger(Free Booter)) who leads his troops from the back using Inspire Courage and Freebooter's Bane to not only strengthen his allies, but focus their fire.

Old Smoky Bill wrote:
@Tiny Coffee Golem: Yes, I was half thinking those imps being the demon and angels on your shoulders. Just the angel version is an imp wearing an angel costume :P

This also makes me want to make a character that literally has an angel and devil that sit on her/his shoulders.

@Hanzou: Sounds like a good idea, have a bit of a think what makes him a unique villain. I'm sure you can come up with something cool to do with a pirate!

Maybe he captured the flying Dutchman from Davy Jones. That why we haven't seen him till now he was busy doing that.

If you are making a pirate you have to have a cool ship.

So we have two possible candidates, anyone else fancy a spin at this?

Sorry for the delay in getting up information. I should have him finished over the course of this weekend and up for your perusal. I'm kind of tempted to make him a Dwarf and ask for a flying and/or floating mountain fortress that he does his pirating from.

Hey Davachido, (its Rybal from your other game). I'm considering making a character for this--it sounds pretty cool. Ill let you know if I come up with anything.

@Mbauers: Cool, hopefully people get me their ideas shortly ^^

Deadline of tomorrow Wednesday.

Hmm...rethinking...

What's the ruling on Leadership? Is it allowed? If so, is the cohort gestalt or single classed?

Leadership is allowed, but you only get the cohort which uses a 15 point buy. Gestalt.

So I am working on finishing up the pirate Captain Fremont (Bard/Buccaneer [Gunslinger] 8), whom I was tempted to name The Dread Pirate Roberts and perhaps that will be the name he goes by..., and his First Mate Lucelle (Freebooter [Ranger], Inquisitor of Besmara.

His schtick is pretty much being your stereotypical pirate captian.

He's got a peg leg (Mechanics: Half movement? Inability to 5-Foot Step?) and Parrot familiar acheived through the Buccaneer archetype.

Both are adept two-weapon fighters, Captain Fremont uses his two +1 Cruel Pistols and is more then comfortable swapping out one of his pistols to use his +1 Rapier. (Using his second item valued at 3,300 gp or less for his Rapier if that is okay.) Lucelle on the other hand is a master swashbuckler and puts her +1 Rapier and +1 Dagger to deadly use.

Together they make a deadly duo. While the captain is Inspiring Courage in their crew and buffing them with his spells, Lucelle is coordinating their attacks with her Freebooter's Bane ability and striking terror into their enemies with her Dazzling Displays of prowess with her Rapier so that the captain's pistols can work their magic. Not only that, Lucelle helps the crew make maximum use of common tactics like flanking through her use of Pack Attack, Outflank, and her Freebooter's Bond.

With these tactics they have managed to become some of the most feared pirates on the seas.

What do you think? Any issues with this concept? I have to say that his kingdom would likely be an island hide away.

peg leg

Or

one leg

In case you want the peg leg to have mechanical effect.

I think Peg Leg would work great and fits rather well. Though if possible, I might take both traits because walking at full speed on a peg leg seems odd. Otherwise, he can now have a hated foe, like Captain Hook. Old Sharp Tooth, Old Shark Tooth while under the influence, will be the Captain's pet name for his most hated of foes.

Edit: Perhaps he's some kind of super shark, like a Half-Celestial Advanced Shark sent from the planes of good to dissaude the Captain from his destiny at an early age. However, in it's attempts to turn him to a life of good it unknowingly sealed his fate to become one of the most dreaded pirates the seas have ever known.

If you have finished the sheet can I see it?

Hold the phone, folks! Is the deadline for submitting a character midnight?

Hanzou here.

I have most of the numbers and equipment done, but I have to get it input. It's all on paper right now.

I'm also going to give him the Seasinger (Bard) Archetype as it flows well with the concept.

The Silver Prince wrote:

Yes. But sooner is better sense that gives us time to read it.

I have some of the staples of the character up and I'll continue to finish up throughout the day. I know they still need weapons, ammunition for the captain, skills, spells, and Rusty the Parrot.

Working on an Orc Bard/Barbarian who practices the ancient art of death-metal with his axe of unholy power! Question: can I, for flavor purposes, combine a greataxe with a string instrument? And yes, my character is going to take Legato of the Infernal Bargain to get himself a Succubus groupie!

Just tested out the build. That's a suboptimal build, even though the flavor is awesome. Will mull over some ideas.

Why not be a Scarred Witch Doctor / Barbarian. I mean you were planing on being an Orc. They work very well together.

Or maybe a Bard/ Anti paladin works very well with your death-metal axe of unholy power.

Quite a lot of activity, cool. Sorry I was quite busy today, I shall check through in the morning. Though the two concepts there sound good. Also yes you can combine a greataxe with a string instrument just fine!

Captain Fremont looks more or less ready to go, jump into the discussion and see what we are doing for building the character's cities up. I shall make you a spreadsheet too. When you get something Silver post it up then join the discussion as well.

@Fremont: I don't see anything wrong with your character sheet right now, seems very clear. If I do spot anything I'll say. Also what kind of city would you like. I mean you could just have a fleet of ships as a 'city' by the looks of things. Or some form of port.
