Pathfinder Society Scenario #5–08: The Confirmation (PFRPG)

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have never played or GM'd this scenario before.

2. First come, first serve by posting intro of a fully created character (statblok and all). Tier 1-2, game starts at when 5 players have intro'd.

3. Be able to post once every 18 hours, otherwise grants GM autopilot.

Reminder that all PCs are required to post every 18 hours after your last post, thereafter absentee PC rolls by GM are valid. Of course, to keep the game moving steady, players should aim to check and post often.

A chronicle cannot be given for less than 50% participation (that's never happened, hopefully never)

You need a Perception roll for that.

Unless someone has a re-roll, unfortunately the party has moved the Gillman from Indifferent to Unfriendly.

Dieb can't beat DC 23 and Ragnar does not have any skill in Diplomacy; and a natural 20 does not apply to Diplomacy. Another Diplomacy attempt can't be made for another 24 hours.

Essentially, you are screwed if Diplomacy was the chosen method to accomplish this part of the mission.

On a guidance note, I kept silent to see how PCs would ultimately decide. Three of you are Chaotic Good, bashing a kneeling stranger's head in would be very un-Good. Dieb is Neutral, not Neutral Evil, and slaying a kneeling unaware stranger serves no purpose - Good or Evil. Pathfinder Society (and rules) disallows Evil characters, additionally remember the creed of explore, cooperate and report.

Ah! Oh. Alright, after reading pgs21-22, this seems to be an uncannily accurate description: "This system, while not
necessarily realistic, ensures that all players have a fair
and equitable chance." Alright, fair 'nuff. But then how works the gold? We just get "a set amount of gold for the
scenario"? So, to take an example from our current situation, it doesn't matter if I say "Dieb takes the gems and precious things from the diorama"? Whether I say that or not, the party will receive "X" amount of gold. Yeah?
