Actually, I love the travel. I mean, it's mah job. I'm on the road 17+ days every month now. Come August, I'm putting everything in storage and living in hotels 365. That will give me time to actually do things in the places we go, rather than just blasting thru them on another layover. But yes, last night was, and today will be, good, thanks.

Aryxis is happy to contribute 500gp as well.

Living out of hotels would be fun for a while, and then I'd need a home base.

As I already let you know we are close to the end. To accomodate those people that are eager to start a new game with their character I have already made the chronicles

Please let me know if there is any issue with them. Do not be alarmed by all the strike-throughs, the chronicle contains everything you could find if you did all three locations that are included in the scenario. Obviously every character only goes to one location, which is why approximately 1/3rd of the items are available for you to purchase.

I would like to properly finish this scenario with you, although I will likely have little time over the eastern weekend to post.

GMG, thank you for the graceful way you handled this, including the way you wrote the note on the chronicle. You made the character death feel meaningful, part of a story, rather than just a few bad dice rolls.

Thanks for being patient with me. I think I know what happened with my "tech issue" and the map. I was in China. Even using a VPN, Google apps and sites don't always work quite right, and I think it was just loading a cached copy of the map.

Head -> desk! I knew that Bala is out of tier (had it in my reporting notes) and still did not adjust gold. I have updated your chronicle

Seltyiel, thank you for those compliments. But I think they are not only mine to receive. Your fellow players showed great roleplaying in mourning Seltyiel, which made that death memorable. In that regard my role was small; I set the stage by dialing back on the pace of the game and the players took it.

You are right that everyone contributed to that feeling. I did say everyone was amazing. :)

However, I do think you are underestimating how much you set the tone that everyone else followed. It was not just the way you paused the game, it was the way you asked everyone to make sure there were no errors, and the way you talked about the character death in discussion afterwards. You designated this as something significant, and then my wonderful teammates roleplayed that significance.

I agree with you on that. And this being a GM school game: thank you for making that point more explicit.

I like the list function for this. It is more work to list it than to favorite, but it is easier to find once you have listed it.
