So I’m kinda thinking of making a Halfling fighter, as a sort of anti-grapple monster using the Unfettered Halfling. I don’t just wanna use a boring sword and shield, so I was going through my options. Griffon cane caught my eye as it is L bulk (meaning you can use it while eaten) and you can 2 hand it for a d10, and it isn’t uncommon. (Can’t do a d12, but nothing’s perfect). Only problem is you can’t cut your way out of a stomach with a blunt cane. Any other weapon suggestions that aren’t boring like ‘long sword?’

If using it while eaten concerns you, you could use any one handed weapon with doubling rings to empower a bladed gauntlet, or blade ally off a champion archetype for shifting. Liberator cause/reaction might fit thematically as well.
Nice catch with the doubling rings, hadn’t thought of that. Thought about liberator champion as well, but I already played one and wanted to try a new class. Haven’t gotten around to fighter yet (except for a super short one shot)

I do like that, though I was thinking of getting the Wrestling Archetype, As it gives you a bonus to resist grapples and there's a feat to reaction-get out of grapples.
The Panabas is nice, but I think I'll stick with the Griffon Cane, as there are a few monsters out there that are immune to slashing/piercing damage (*coughblackpuddingcough*)

You might want to look at the Mind Smith archetype for an interesting set of options with a halfling fighter. The base statistics for a mind weapon are nothing special, but you can add several customizable tweaks (even more than an inventor with a weapon innovation in some ways). Not to mention that you don't have to worry about being disarmed or "dropping" the weapon.
The archetype isn't Uncommon or Rare, either.
