I've heard spinwards and anti-spinwards. I suppose that would work on Absalom Station. Presumably it does spin otherwise one side is going to get unbearably hot and the other mind numbingly cold - like Verces. Presumably it also nods up and down to simulate sunrise and sunset, since it is technically a flat plane.

Hey guys, not sure who else to ask. I saw the Scoured Star invasion will be available during PBP Outpost VI. I was hoping Chadrah would be at least lvl 5 with all the related story boons before I tried to do it but I don't know if the boons would even really make a difference, how hard would be for a lvl 4 envoy or if should just wait for the next time it comes up. Have any of you played? Any advice?

Scoured Stars Invasion was one of the first few SFS scenarios I ever played, so my character was only 1st or 2nd level at the time, and I don't have any idea how the various segment boons come into play in it. At the very least, the much more recent Year of Scoured Stars boon can be very useful, if you have enough segments for it.

I'll be GMing a level 1-2 table for 1-99 at a local in-person con this spring. It will be my first multi-table special as a GM.

I just have the feeling of going into a boss-level adventure so I hope Chadrah is prepared. She's obviously not the fighting type and from what I can gather it doesn't look like it would have social/RP encounters right? I'm afraid I'll just do harrying fire through most encounters. xD

I haven't started reading through it yet, so don't recall much about specific encounters (and wouldn't spoil it if I did). But yeah, there is a fair amount of fighting, including a starship combat or two, IIRC. Your fellow PCs will be grateful for inspiring boost, and that should refresh frequently as you finish missions. And maybe as an envoy you can shine as captain?

As far as your worry about levels, it's a level 1-8 adventure, but tables are split up by subtiers 1-2/3-4/5-6/7-8. A non-fighty 4th on a 3-4 table would probably have an easier time than a non-fighty 5th on a 5-6.

I GMed it three times. There are social RP encounters, and there are combat and starship encounters. Envoys are great.

You have enough skills to help with skill challenges, do things in Starship Combat and if you have Get Em, help your team to victory. Charli played 1-99 fine.

Hey, Chadrah, you don't seem to be signed in on the RPG Chronicles page. I think our APL should be 4.5 exactly (four 4's, one 5, one 6), which should have let the players decide which way to round, but with one of our 4's missing from that list, it looks like the calculation skewed us high. I can't recall if APL came up in discussion earlier, so I guess we'll have to see what Kludde has to say. (I'm fine going either way, but I'm playing the 6. I'll defer to the group and the GM.)

The above is a quite accurate reconstruction of what happened. We're a bit late in the game to switch tiers now (the BBEG being reduced to a festive pulp and all), so I'd suggest we keep it at current settings.

You are right. Do you now how to force RPGC into high tier (assuming that is possible since we're at the 4.5 point). Otherwise I'll just go in and edit the chronicles by hand, old school daemon that I am.

That's actually one I haven't played yet. My only other 3-6 is busy, so I will be contributing to the potential glut of envoys, though she does have a shiny new toy.

I usually just change one of the high tier player's level or one of the out of tier players to force RPGC to recognize the change. Doesn't matter so much in Starfinder for the treasure found. (It's much more annoying for PF2)

Chrysanthemum would be delighted to travel along with friend Khubelu and friend Chadrah. Even if her only use is stand in the place where she is.
