So my expectation is that our luck will eventually break and we'll have to fight all the poachers anyway. But if we manage to get a couple trapped in their trailers for a round or two before that happens, that will delay when they come on to the board and we'll have fewer to fight at any given time.
But if we fail our Stealth checks, that's okay. I think this fight is predestined for us. I just want to gain a small tactical advantage of a round or two where a bad guy has to test the door, and then wait a round before finally breaking or crawling through a window.
Staggering the opponents makes it easier to handle them.

It's not even a spell, you just have it constantly, which is even more awesome. My envoy in the other game just retrained into a level of xenodruid mystic to get that ability, because he wants to be able to share all his envoy abilities with his giant fur-baby. :) He hasn't had a chance to speak with any other animals yet, though.

I technically have one other 1st-level PC (the one I played #3 with not too long ago) but he's waiting for credit from a module. I'll play my stellifera again when he hits 2nd level and goes phrenic adept, because limited telepathy is so much more efficient than telepathic message (and I was planning to go that route anyway). Some GMs are pretty forgiving about communication with that race, but I'd rather not have to worry about table variation at all.

I'm in for Bounty 5 thank you. Incidentally RPG Chronicles doesn't allow the entering of fractional XP so the chronicle sheet can't show the final XP correctly. Apart from that, Volitare's Chronicle is fine. The game is being logged in the database at the moment.

Please. They'll probably get some spellgems, if possible. Never heard of Soul Surge though. Usually my mystics go for Mind Thrust.
Also, FYI, Volitare Fugax is Latin.
After a bit of thought, I've made a few tweaks to Volitare.

Volitaire, I suggest making one of your current spells something you put on a spell gem, and then taking mind thrust or soul surge as one of your base spells, so that you always have a combat option available. It's less expensive to put the situational spells that you might not use every adventure on spell gems.

I think I'm content with Talgoth's build for now, so no changes except getting a hireling and buying a fusion for his other weapon. I'll update his profile page sometime soon, before we start the next bounty.

Volitaire now has Heal and Soul Surge as prepared 1st level spells with spellgems of Heal, Mind Thrust, Soul Surge and Biome Adaptation as backups.

Sorry I missed that. This is an exploration map/dungeon with lots of minor flavor things (quite a cool one, if I can add my opinion). I'm trying to find that fine middle ground between 'no clue what we're supposed to be doing' and 'railroading auto-trap triggering', so I'll give the occasional nudge without slowing things down too much. Every now and then the cigar room is just a cigar room, though, and there is nothing else to learn.
