Greetings.
For a coming game, i'm planning ahead. The evangelist prestige class has, aside from deific obedience, following requirements: Any one of the following: base attack bonus +5, 5 ranks in any skill other than Knowledge (religion), or ability to cast 3rd-level spells.
As far as i know, from first glance, i can enter it at level 5.
Though Aasimar, from what i've read, with their daylight SLA, could technically enter at 4.
Are there other ways to obtain a lvl 3 SLA/level 3 spell, to enter at level 4 as well?

Those reqs mean level 6 is the 1st level you can take it.
You won't have 5 ranks/ bab in anything until after level 5.SLA don't count for spell casting reqs. That was short lived and reversed years ago

Bugger.
Pity, with potential of level 20, 6 levels evangelist for boon 2, and 10 levels another PrC is off the table.
Back to the drawing board i guess.
Edit post VoodistMonk.
Holy... for real?
Currently, the PC is set as bard. Was planning for an evangelist/Sphere singer, but it'll be one or the other that can cap.
If they expire it might be an option.
How do you mean to get six boons? A deity bestows but 3, from what i see.

Voodist Monk is of the opinion that you can get one set of boons from the Divine Paragon cleric archetype, then another from the Evangelist prestige class despite what the text of Deific Obedience says:
If you later take levels in sentinel or evangelist, you lose access to the exalted boons and gain access to the new boons appropriate to your class.
It's perfectly fine for the GM to allow you to get more boons than this would allow, just make sure you clear it with your GM first.

Personally, I think using a Prestige class as your aligned class is a tad cheesy. My biggest piece of evidence that you shouldn't be able to do it is this: You can't get favored class bonuses with prestige classes without taking a feat for it. That makes prestige classes 'special'.
I admit, it is purely anecdotal but, its consistent.

I didn't mean to start an argument by bringing up something controversial.
You're not wrong, though... I am absolutely of the opinion that the combination of Divine Paragon's specific text and the way Evangelist is written, completely override Deific Obedience. Divine Paragon already overrides Deific Oberience by overriding its prerequisites.
Anyways, it's actually probably not worth arguing about. The boons can be cool and fun, but it's just not worth entrenching and dying on that hill...
