Well, let's see whatcha' got hive mind!

Are you thinking in terms of further innovations, beyond the three already designed?

Maybe a bit of a universalist that can lesser benefits but on multiple innovations?

Chewing-gum innovation!
You can chew on it to produce wonderful effects: a smoke curtain, a fire breath, a protective bubble gum... or you can spit it on the enemy to entangle or blind them.

I would like to see some some unarmed Feats for the Armor Inovation, particularly a clock work windup punch and maybe a punch reach extender(boxing glove guns wrist attachment).

A speed boost modification for Armor would also be very nice, and a size modification as was mentioned elsewhere. I'd prefer to see some of the more interesting (i.e. non-DR) modifications moved to the modification list instead of feats, too, so you could build a tank armor innovation, or a utility/movement one, or a unarmed damage one. If that happens, a "Dual-Form Armor" feat would work very well with it.

A modification/Breakthrough for the Companion Innovation that gives it the Mount feature.
Quadrupedal gyro-stabilization?
Shock Absorbing Saddle?
Something that would allow an Inventor/Cavalier to ride their minion instead of a Horse.

Something for Weapon Innovations that would give a weapon with Ammo some form of capacity. It doesn't even have to be much, but the ability to give a Crossbow, Gun, or Sling a capacity of say 3, so that you could do 1 reload action and then attack 3 times before reloading again would be huge.

Wider afield, as a new category of Innovation, Tool Innovation. Start with a tool kit of some sort (repair kit, healers kit, Thieves Tools, etc) and add stuff to it. Mods that improve tool functionality. Mods that let you take (multiple linked) skill feats. Perhaps taking this innovation would give you extra skill feats at odd levels like Rogue and Investigator? Mods/Breakthroughs that let you use Craft in place of other skills, e.g. if you innovation is a modded Healers Kit you can use Craft for Medicine rolls, and to qualify for Medicine Skill feats (but only when using the special kit).

Some of these ideas might be good for innovations or for Class feats that require a specific innovation.

I think that all three types of innovations could use options for a ballistic net, bolas, or something similar with the tethered trait to grapple at range or with reach; kind of like the net or bolas from APG. Then maybe add another feat to stack on it to electrocute and stun grappled enemies with, like a taser.

For Companion Construct Innovations:
- I think a good option might be to say that you can ride IN your construct, rather than on it; maybe even give an innovation option to gain cover while riding in your construct.
- A Tunneling/Burrowing travel mode to move underground so I can make a mole man inventor. Maybe it can have a follow-on option/feat to build pit traps/snares or small avalanches when adjacent to walls/cliffs/boulders/trees.
- "Rumble Seat/Passenger Car/Side Saddle/Backseat Driver/Turret" Room for an extra rider/passenger who can use an action to provide a command to your companion, but that cannot make the construct companion do anything you would not want it to do. They are not driving it and cannot make it stride or step, but can activate a special ability or a make a strike; like a gunner in a turret.
- "Junk in the Trunk" as an option for storage space similar to Built-In Tools, but without the tools just for extra storage space - enough to transport a body in...

For Armor Innovations:
- Spiked pylons/pitons that shoot into the ground for stability to keep from being moved forcibly.
- A spring-loaded shield that unfolds like a fan from the armored bracers for a shield reaction bonus to AC for one round.
- Ablative armor where pieces of the armor chip off to fly into the attacker's face or sparks and electrical charge or ignites a brief burst of flame for a reaction-based Attack of Opportunity counterattack.
- A sticky substance or magnetic field that disarms or grapples the enemy as a reaction.
- Options for the armor innovation to add stuff that normally only shields and/or gauntlets can get like shield bash, shield boss, shield spikes, or even retractable blades/claws.
- Weapon Options like a retractable whip, spiked chain, flickmace, or war flail.

For both Armor and Companion Construct Innovations:
- A compartment for shooting darts/shuriken or attaching a hand crossbow or firearm for added offensive capability.
- Rocket Boost as an option to increase speed by a lot for one round only and only in a straight line, but can be used for whatever mode of movement the companion and/or inventor is currently doing, whether it be over land, while swimming, climbing, burrowing/tunneling, or flying.

Nope! Think character concepts without the character.

What kind of innovation ideas can you come up with, within the existing rules?

Here's a weapon innovation idea as an example.

Concept: Battle Yoyo
Base weapon: poi
Innovation Weapon Modification: entangling form
Offensive Boost: saw
Breakthrough Weapon Modification: inconspicuous appearance
Revolutionary Weapon Modification: momentum retainer

Or perhaps using the Dual-Form Weapon feat with a firearm to make something akin the weapons seen in the RWBY franchise.

Shield innovation as an option because realistically trying to do it under weapon actually sucks because then you lose your innovation weapon or some kind of support.

Moves like Explosion and Overdrive should be different for each Innovation that gives them more distinction as a choice.

Here's a question, If you've got one of those feats that makes a racial weapon count as lower order (I.E. Martial counts as Simple, Advanced counts as Martial) how does that interact with things.

Specifically, if you have Gnome Weapon Familiarity, can you make a Weapon Innovation out of a Gnome Flickmace?

Likewise, if you have Goblin Weapon Familiarity, and you make a Weapon Innovation out of a Horsechopper, can you put Simple Complexity on it, or is it still technically a Martial Weapon?

Concept: Extended Combat Maneuvers
Base Weapon: Whip
Base Modification: Hefty Composition
Offensive Boost: Jolt
Breakthrough: Integrated Gauntlet
Revolutionary: Extensible Weapon

Free-hand, 20' reach, Trip, Disarm, and Shove.

Extensible adds 10ft reach INSTEAD of adding 5ft if the base weapon has reach.

So end reach should be 15ft not 20.

Concept: Man catcher
Base Weapon: Halberd
Base Modification: entangling
Offensive Boost: Jolt

Basically a pronged stick that you can close the prongs with a trigger to capture "speciments" (usually by their necks)(grapple) or you can alternatively use the prongs to grab and pull their feet (trip).

Allows ranged immobilise to keep dangerous speciments outside harm range for you.

Optional electric zaps for insubordination.

Ah, i read it wrong.

Upon checking the latest version of the core book, i see all the [ancestry] Weapon Familiarity feats have had the language standardized to "For the purpose of determining your proficiency...", so I'm going to assume that No, these feats Don't allow complex simplicity on a horsechopper nor allow gnome flickmace, dwarven waraxe, and orcish necksplitter as base weapons for weapon innovations.

Disappointing but probably for the best.

An armor innovation that deploys a shield that gives a +2 to ac, and mechanically works like the shield cantrip, in terms of automatically giving shield block, scaling hardness, and breaking after a shield block until you repair it, with upgrade options like an antimagic barrier (getting the bonus to saves vs magic), or having the option to make the shield activate explosion (provided you pass the unstable check, if applicable!) When you shield block with it.

Following up on the wind up/piston punch, a piercing version thats a pile bunker from mecha animes. Also a rocket fist. Gotta have the rocket fist

even more, we *already* have something like "it breaks until you repair it" aka make the Shield Block "Unstable"

I am an Indian inventor. For a long time, I am continuing personal research about a new kind of wind power generation system. Recently, while searching net, I have found out that the necessary machinery is already available in market. In short, the machine now can be built easily.
At present, I have completed the CAD drawing and done some ANSYS simulation testing. As per the latest simulation where the RPM was set of 3600, the torque was found to be around 1.52 Newton-meter for a machine of 35 cm diameter and the input wind velocity was set to be 6 m/s. For me, this is promising result and I can say that no wind turbine in anywhere around the world of that little diameter can generate such torque at this RPM.
The results are encouraging. I now want to further develop this technology and looking for assistance/partnership.
