Alchemist / rogue peshpine poisoner.

Rules Discussion

Silver Crusade

Be an alchemist with rogue dedication.

poison weapon

peshpine grenade

Use some potent alchemical poison...

One action to draw bomb
One action to apply poison and throw
Possibly less actions with more feats

Am I correct in assuming the injury or contact poison will affect all that are damaged by the piercing splash?

This would seem crazy powerful, but legal by RAW, right?

I actually want to know how you plan to apply poison to a grenade or how you plan to poison several creatures with a single dose of poison.

It's important to have a distinction of the base damage of bombs and the splash damage. They're two different types of damage with very different rules. You would get to deal poison damage (and sneak attack damage for that matter) against the primary target only, as an addition to the base damage. Splash is a special type of damage that is applied on top of base damage and to adjacent creatures. Poison and sneak attack damage does not apply with splash damage.

Could you do it? Sure, but the poison would only hit your main target, thanks to the wording of injury poison rules.

Tip: you could save actions by pre-poisoning your bombs, because then you could use quick bomber to draw and throw the bomb in one action. You don't actually even need the rogue dedication.

That said, until they do some alchemist revisions (more like if, don't hold your breath) this seems like an attack that's going to cost you more infused reagents, will hit less than 50% of the time against equal level critters, and the poison will be frequently resisted since the DC's are mostly terrible until you pick up the class feat at 10.

But, as a gimmick, it's kinda fun, so go wild.

As a sidenote. I really hope they make Poison Weapon, and its upgrade (newer) feat(s) shared by Alchemist later.
it would give them a nice method
