If I dont take any storm druid feats, strictly taking wild shaping + multiclassing into fighter for the AoO (taking up feat level 2 and 4 slots), how many focus points do I have? Just the 1?
And after a fight can I refocus for 10 mins to be able to go into some 'said form' for 1 minute during the next fight. Can I get a second focus point as wild order?
I believe I need ferocious shape feat at level 8 to be able to use my wild shape focus spells, do I get more than 1 though at that point.
thanks for any help

Before I answer, note that this is my interpretation of the rules. The rules on gaining Focus Points aren't exactly written very clearly, and some people will argue that you start with 2 Focus Points because you have two Focus Powers (Wild Morph and Wild Sape). I however, do not think this is the case.

Yes, just 1.

Yes, you can.

Not without Multiclassing or somehow picking up a feat that say it's give you another Focus Point. Which would probably means getting Order Explorer and at least one more feat like Wind Caller.

You don't need Ferocious Shape to use Wild Shape. It just unlocks more shapes for you to chose. Without it, you can keep using Animal Form and any other Form you've already learned. Those might fall behind in power before long but not taking Ferocious Shape can be viable if you want to take Soaring Shape instead of just skip taking a form spell completely at that level.

A second point is of limited usefulness for Wild Order anyway, since you can only regain one between fights. That means you need to rest 10 minutes between them, but you only need one Wild Shape per fight, and having a second Focus Point would only allow you to skip the rest once per day.
It would also allow you to be a flying T-Rex via Wild Morph > Wild Shape.

Is this really an discussion out there? Yeah you get two Focus spells, but neither the Wild-order or the Wild Shape feat says that you increase the Focus pool. Leaf and Storm says that you do increase the pool, so that should also point to how Wild should be read. I thought that the text was clear, but then English isn't my first language ;)

It's not my first language either. But this is not about the text from the druid class.
I don't remember the details (and I don't care enough to look them up), but in the Focus Spell section of the spell chapter, there's something along the lines of "If you get a Focus Spell, you also get a Focus Pool." There's also a sidebar explaining that if you get a Focus Pool when you already have one, you get +1 FP for your first pool instead. The Example is in a sidebar and gives some Multiclassing as an example, but fails to sate that this is ONLY true for multiple Focus Pools from multiclassing.
So some players said that you always get a Focus Point when you get a new Focus Spell (up to 3, of course).
Again, don't quote me on the details, I haven't looked it up lately. But it was something like that. As I said, I don't agree with that interpretation.

Excuse the heck out of me, but I have never heard of anything more necessary ALL of the time.
Also, regarding the Focus Spell = Focus Point discussion, I thought that was the case as well. I have to review my knowledge of Focus Points.

Oh, right. I guess everyone *could* have a bandolier of wands of Summon Flying T-rex.

It's probably this from the sidebar that get's them:

"If you have multiple abilities that give you a focus pool, each one adds 1 Focus Point to your pool."
And yes, the Druidic Order gives you a pool (=1 point), but the Wild or Wild Shape doesn't give you a pool or a point. Just a spell.
Edit: Or if I read from the start of the sidebar, I can probably get the mix up. But it still says you get points for things that gives you a focus pool, not by getting more spells...:
"It’s possible, especially through archetypes, to gain focus spells and Focus Points from more than one source. If this happens, you have just one focus pool, adding all the Focus
Points together to determine the total size of your pool. If you have multiple abilities that give you a focus pool, each one adds 1 Focus Point to your pool."

And several of the feats have the 'If you don't already have a focus pool, you get one' that would be a more specific rule that overrides the general rule.

Well, I mean, any Druid can cast Fly then turn into a T-Rex, too...indeed, I'm pretty sure you can't have the ability to turn into a T-Rex without being able to cast Fly.

I think T-Rexes should be given a fly speed just to simplify things.

One other way I think would be to take the order explorer for plant and pick up the leashy. You can once per day get a focus point back for 2 actions. So nice if you find a situation where you need an extra focus in a fight for an emergency. Normally the forms last long enough that one focus per fight should be fine.
