Tuesday is World vegetarian day!

I definitely could keep myself happy while vegetarian, but the problem is for getting proteins, meats still give better for their calories. Else you'd be eating tau kwa all day.

They say that you are what you eat, I eat cows, cows are vegetarians, therefore I am a vegetarian.

This thread is playing tricks on me.

The robots invaded today. I may need to hire a bouncer... I know one but he has a tendency of sleeping on the job.

No. I don't know if it'd fit and all plus garlic can have a rather strong flavour that may overpower the oregano and rosemary.

but... but... but... GARLIC!

I look for things to cook that use garlic just so I can enjoy the Garlic!

You ever put garlic on popcorn? I do sometimes. Just pop a bag in the microwave, then sprinkle some garlic powder (not garlic salt, it's already plenty salty) on it and shake to distribute. Or pour the popcorn into a bowl and add the garlic powder and shake. It means you have to wash a bowl, but it tends to more evenly distribute the garlic.

I usually go for a sweeter popcorn topping but you know that sounds solid I am for it. Maybe some Garlic butter even. I don't even really like popcorn that much but this is sounding good.

Garlic butter goes well with eggplant I'd say...

And down here we cook with fresh garlic. No powder involved.

Anyway I'm a little peeved today. Body composition test indicates that I have lost some muscle mass and fat remained the same =(

However I've actually been lifting heavier weights in the gym. How does that even add up?

And I haven't been snacking, been keeping an eye on my food. Seriously muscles, start growing!

I use fresh garlic too, just sometimes powder works better. Like as a popcorn topping.

What I mean is that someone wants me to wake them up 2 hours later and I feel bad for them because they are getting like 2 hours of sleep before I wake them up. I feel like he made some sort of mistake by staying up to the point where he needs a wake up call so close to when he called me asking for one.

Could just be a variance in the test data. testing errors happen.

Finally, writing doesn't make me nervous so much as I feel like I will never be as good as the other people I know that write for a living.
You're never going to be a Vonnegut or a Twain or a Monte Cook (or Jim Theis or Bulwer-Lytton), because we already had/have them. But you, you're the only one of you there is; no one else can speak with your voice and tell your stories. So don't be afraid to write. The more you write, the better you'll get at it

I feel like there should be some kind of jabbin' pole you can use for that. Just to keep yourself safe... and also because, jabbin' pole, amiright?

What you do is to throw pillows/bolsters from 1.5 m away. My BF claims that if you wake his friend too suddenly you get punched in the face. So yep if I had to Id throw pillows from range. I don't think you can strike at someone 1.5 m away from you.

If I am awoken suddenly I am super grouchy myself. Probably more likely to strike then normal.

Also yes Jabbin' pole sounds awesome.

Scarab Sages

I am not amorning person myself.

If I'd only have 2 hours left to sleep, I'd probably skip it.

Yeah that is how I feel about it. Better off just not sleeping.

LOL show up in Singapore on 16 Feb 2020 ^^

But the route isn't easy. Ran once or twice before, it's trail running, up and down slopes. I should be able to manage it since I trained for greater distances then that, but my trail running skillz are pretty craps since I don't practice much.

The Exchange

This one, long past is also another food themed race. But to run the 10k under 60 min is NOT easy, as the trail involves some pretty steep gradient on Fort Siloso area and Palawan beach is fekking hot. That time I finished my 5k AIA charity glow run there, I doubt I'd be able to do 10k, but I was doing a whole bunch of krazy things on that day. Like weights and 1.5h of Vinyasa yoga.

I'm watching Youtube videos of a father and son team building a Saxon house using only hand tools. It is very interesting.

52 eh? Does that mean you're now a DC Comics Multiverse? ;)

Also today I have a decision to make which again I will probably make affirmatively as I need to pay off my tires... Goddamn roads and sewer run off that eat tires!

Mostly I'm just sitting here shirtless since all my work shirts need to be washed and I'm not sure I'm ready to wear a nice T-shirt JUST yet...

It's almost time for me to clock out and go home. For everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday, either in text or by favoriting my post, thank you all.

Good night, and I'll see you Thursday,

Crossed off one item off the bucket list. Ran in the rain. Actually a light drizzle. It wasn't really as bad as I thought it out to be.

Just think - if the rain were purple, you could have danced in it too.

The whole thing came about because I was thinking about my half marathon on 3rd November. Est time to complete it will be 2-3h. I'm not going to kid myself that I can do a sub 2 for a half marathon. But in the tropical weather here, what makes me think that for that 2-3h it won't rain, since it's monsoon season? I need to get a feel of running in the rain, lest it happens, though usually when it rains, normally I don't run.

I'd prefer to dance with myself because dancing with others tends to result in injuries...

The Exchange

I do my dancing in front of a television screen thanks to Google chrome and some zumba. Which reminds me, I've got a free trial ballet class that I really should be booking...dancing cats lol^^

Anyway tomorrow I aim to do another long run for about 18-19 km ish. Great Eastern Women's half marathon is on 3 November and I won't be able to train from 18-28 October as I'll be overseas.

Hello, everyone.

It looks like it might rain this evening.

I hope it will rain soon. It's been pretty DAMN dry in my part of the state and the rest of Southern WV is pretty much drought stricken right now...

Also I want frost!

We had a burn ban in our county a couple of weeks ago. If it doesn't rain soon they may reinstate it. And yes! Frost!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Burn ban is in effect until the Governor (who isn't the smartest cookie but at least will listen to weather experts), says other wise.

And yes, lots of frost so I can have all the leaves come off the trees before the end of November.
