I am about to enter the eyes of the ten in the next few weeks, so no spoilers please! However, my Arcanist has survived her first 11 Levels by avoiding being hit with spider climb/dimensional slide, then flight and slide. However, this is a retirement arc, i feel relying on my insane maneuverability to stay out of range of being hit is going to be tested. (I have only ever been struck twice, and nearly killed each time)
The character, is a school specialist arcanist of the enchantment variety. Her base ac is an 11 with a +1 Haramaki (deathless), so buffing ac is NOT going to help. I have a lesser displacement cloak, and usually keep overland flight on myself all the time. I am also very limited on funds down to about 5k. So what are your thoughts on other spells i MUST have, to keep myself alive against all comers.
Also, I'm not worried about someone dispelling me, as i will simply counterspell them before they can (counter drain arcanist), so hit me up with your suggestions please! (or any other massive flaw in the strategy, though most of this is too late to change, besides additional spells)
Especially long lasting once i could keep on myself for most of the day with a single cast.

EMF is strong enough that it is almost a force-pick on any caster capable of casting it, even if you only use it for super oh-s^&$#@ moments like IDing someone casting Power Word: Kill on you, or a surprise barbarian in your face or something.
As far as Eyes of the Ten goes, remember, it's a very early set of scenarios. That means by this point, people are a good chunk stronger than they expected when it was written. I'm not saying it'll be a cakewalk or anything, but if you're used to dealing with Season 8/9/10 encounters you should be fine.
Some of the top spells my Eyes Arcanist used to buff/etc:
Overland Flight
Life Bubble
Emergency Force Sphere
Phase Step
Dimension Door
<insert Brownfur shennanigans here>
I'd also make sure to pick up one of the best defensive items you can get for high level play - a Bead of Newt Prevention. it's only 1000g and can turn a bad day into a "phew thank goodness"

I actually just thought about emergency force sphere, combined with possession might make a devastating protection combo, if the biggest thing in the fight has a bad will save
Not sure I understand this combination, but I've found greater possession to be super-fun for a fragile caster.

For low level gear, aside from the Newt bead, I recommend a few Snapleafs and a Shawl of Life Protection (you'll want to pay 50% extra to get it crafted for another slot, unless you're not using your shoulder slot).
Assuming it's for PFS, you can't increase the cost of an item to get it crafted in another slot.
I personally recommend wearing three lesser talismans - one of freedom (900 gp), one of Life's Breath (3500 gp), and one Ankh (1250 gp)
Freedom procs whenever you become entangled, grappled, or paralyzed and gives you Freedom of Movement for 3 rounds
Life's Breath casts Breath of Life spell at CL 9 the first time you die
Ankh is nice because it allows you a saving throw on an energy drain effect even if there is't an initial one (using the DC to avoid it becoming permanent) Alternatively if it does allow an initial throw you can roll twice and take the better.

The combo is becsause my pidly weak arse mage body cant defeat the field. Provided what i am possessing is not a mage it cannot use spells to get out, so it is effectively trapped inside, keeping my body safe as i rampage around in the dragon or what have you, murdering its fellow friends.
