Hi
I've run a session so far of PFS at my local game store, and enjoyed it; I am contemplating doing it at Carnage Royale's convention in Killington but am uncertain what would be a good first time out in such a setting. I wanted to run "We Be Goblins" but have been informed it's likely to be offered by enough other DMs I wouldn't get a table up and running. Any suggestions?

Assuming somebody is coordinating the PFS GMs at the convention, ask what intro scenarios will help fill out the convention. Seconding Confirmation and Wounded Wisp from Nefreet's list. I do like the later quests like House of Harmonious Wisdom and Fallen Family Broken Name, but they require enough maps to possibly be intimidating for a new GM to deal with.

Wow, FlamesofChaos! I just checked out the website for that Carnage Con you're planning to GM at. Looks like a ton of fun! Luckily you have until November to plan on what to GM. I noticed the theme for the con is science fiction. As for a PFS scenario, the Phantom Phenomena quest series focuses on the Occult. Might fit the theme if Lovecraftian can be considered that. The first few Season 6 scenarios have a science-fantasy theme which might work. And, since everyone is still quite new to Starfinder, you might consider running one of the free to download Starfinder adventures for beginners.
