Crane Riposte and Magus's spell strike

Rules Questions

Silver Crusade

If i'm correct you can't use the AoO you get from crane riposte to attack them with a shocking grasp spell strike right?

The AoO is made using anything the character can make a legal AoO with.

Spellstrike allow the user to discharge a held spell anytime they hit with a weapon.

So yes, if a magus is holding a charge and hits with an AoO he can use spellstrike to hit with the spell as well.

Crane Riposte does not change how AoO's are resolved, it only adds an alternate means of triggering AoO's

A magus with chill touch running can riposte with it repeatedly.

If you had already cast shocking grasp and were holding the charge, you can. What you CAN'T do is use a standard action to cast the spell, since an AoO is "not an action".
