Unchained Summoner - Mirrored Eidolon

Advice

So, the idea is that the character's eidolon is a mirror of himself. I'm going with the sub par melee summoner idea here, so optimization is not absolutely paramount in this discussion. Here's what I've got to work with.

All of Paizo
20 point buy
Feat Taxes
And the DM has not disclosed what kind of campaign he is running, nor what kind of creatures we'll face
Starting level is 1st and will go to 8 or 10.
Oh! I'm going with the Spirit Summoner, and the Battle Mystery.

Any suggestions?

I was thinking the summoner could go with a dex build focusing on support and forcing enemies into AoOs while the eidolon is str focused and has the potential to support if needed, but otherwise is the source of the damage.

Then again, this is my first time building a summoner, so I really have no idea what I'm doing. Yes, I know summoners are overpowered. I would simply like to try something my friends haven't done before.

Not a twinned summoner from Legacy of the First World?

I didnt even know that one existed. Thank you for the mention. Is it new?

Fairly. Old enough to be up on Archives of Nethys.

Any other suggestions?

So far, I'm thinking my feat trees for the eidolon and character will be as such:

Summoner (human)
H - Combat Reflexes
1 - Deft Maneuvers
3 - ?
5 - Improved Spell Sharing (Teamwork)
7 - ?

Traits:
Heirloom Weapon - (Insert Dex reach weapon, probably elven branched spear)
?

Eidolon - (thinking azata might be best)
1 - Combat Reflexes
3 - Powerful Maneuvers
6 - Improved Spell Sharing (Teamwork)

Improved Spell Sharing cannot be taken by the Eidolon. The prerequisite being the ability to acquire a familiar, eidolon, animal companion or special mount. It's a teamwork feat meant for the few classes that automatically share their teamwork feats with their companions and ignoring prerequisites.

I like that you covered my bases, but any ideas as to what I could put in its place?

You may want to consider a strength build for the summoner. Less attacks of opportunity but you save yourself some of those precious, precious feats. Longspears are perfectly fine weapons, even better against charges, and you save a trait.

The Paired Opportunists teamwork feat works wonders with this kind of build. Outflank works wonders in making up for the Summoner's low base accuracy. Needing to tank the ranks in Bluff can be annoying, but Broken Wing Gambit combos startlingly well with teamwork builds.

As mentioned previously, the Tiwinned Summoner archetype is the perfect for the kind of character you want, from the sharing of teamwork feats to the fact that your eidolon gets a massive bonus to disguise checks to look like its summoner. The whole package flows better when you can see the archetype, the Twinned Eidolon subtype, and the related new evolutions all at the same time. It's cleaner if you're looking at the print or PDF copy of Legacy of the First World.

Yea, the Twinned Summoner is really well designed to do this. You could actually take Improved Spell Sharing at 4 and automatically buff you and your eidolon in the same round. Combined with reach weapons you could cast and move into position to take advantage of AoOs. You don't really need a Dex heavy build to do it either. 2-3 AoOs per round is usually sufficient (as 12-14 dex + combat reflexes).
