I just resubscribed to the Starfinder Accessories line. Will the Alien Archive Pawn Box ship as part of this subscription or does it need to be ordered separately?

Orders are only shipped on weekdays, correct?! Here's hoping mine gets shipped in the last few hours of this work week....

If an order gets broken down into 2 shipments, is there any expectation that the 2nd shipment will ship soon after the 1st? The last time my order got broken down that way, there was a problem with the 2nd shipment -- and I just wanted to be sure that wasn't happening again.


i was wondering that to i was wondering why they have two shipments jw? and if so why? and is the final shipment date the 15th or has it changed

Well, that didn't happen. :'( Still waiting. Are there server issues getting in the way of fulfilling shipments? I guess you could call me impatient, but I cannot recall having to wait so long for my subscriptions to ship in the nearly 2 years I have subscribed. Have I just been lucky and now my luck has run out? Sigh.

Good catch. The initial post gives an end shipment date of "Friday, November 15", which doesn't work because November 15th is a week from this Wednesday (as well as the street date of the products). So I am not sure whether the end shipment date is Friday, November 10th or Wednesday, November 15th. Since the shipment window is usually 2 weeks, I am betting that the date should have been the 10th.

I don't know about the shipping window (I presume it's still on schedule).

In regards to split shipments, this often happens when some of the items in your order qualify for a printed media shipping rate but other items don't.

As I understand it, this is a super-cheap rate but must consist predominantly of books. So if you've got a few flipmats, cards, dice or other such accessories the system will put some of them in with the cheap shipment and then bundle the rest into a separate order. Even though you receive two packages with empty space, the system is clever enough to compare the split-order option with all the other options and select whichever will be the cheapest one for you, in aggregate.

I have occasionally seen instances where the computer screws up determining the 'cheapest option', but that's generally been when everything ends up in the super-expensive shipping methods, not in situations when orders are split into two or three.

I am not questioning the rationale for splitting the shipments (it is too late anyhow since one package has shipped) but whether I have anything to be concerned about since one package shipped early on Friday and the other hasn't shipped yet. If that is nothing to be concerned about, then no problem. If that is something to be concerned about, then I am hereby registering my concern.

Hello Fourshadow,

That is correct. We are closed on weekends and holidays, so no orders will ship during those days. Some of the issues we had last week did mean that there were windows where the warehouse could not ship orders. Your order can ship any time in the 2 week shipping window, which is until November 15 this month.

Hello David,

No. Our system will treat the individual pick lists the same way it treats any other pick lists. So packages can ship at different times, or on different days. So if you have subscriptions to the Battles, Adventure Path, and Campaign Setting lines for instance, the Battles item would ship on its own (its box is ship able packaging) and the 2 books would ship in a second package. The Battles package would be part of the label run for orders that are just Battles cases, and the package with the books would be part of the label run for orders that are just the Adventure Path and Campaign Setting. Those label runs may be done at different times or on different days.

Hello Chris,

The end shipping date for this month is Wednesday, November 15. We started shipping on Wednesday of last week. We always allow 2 days between when we run the auth and when we begin shipping to give folks time to contact us about cancellations or payment issues before we start shipping. Usually these days are the weekend and we give those things priority in our inbox on Monday so we can start shipping. Because the auth didn't finish until late Sunday this month we didn't start shipping until Wednesday. We always allow 2 weeks to get all the orders shipped out.


Hiya,

Any chance someone could please check my subscriptions and confirm that I haven't missed an order? I recall seeing a block of upcoming products which included Ultimate Wilderness and other things, but haven't received any order information and obviously UW is now in the wild (sic). :)

Just making sure something hasn't gotten gummed up. My next subscriptions are showing late November/early December, but don't seem to include UW or some other products that have been released this month.
