Ways to Counter Waves of Fatigue / Exhuastion

Advice

Shadow Lodge

As some of the most awful spells to have the BBEG use against the party I was wondering how many ways there are to stop them?

Paladin mercies (fatigue at 3rd level, exhausted at 9th level).

Animist shaman using Wrangle Condition (fatigue is a Minor Condition for a DC 15 Diplomacy check, automatic at 5th level; exhausted is a Severe condition for a DC 25 Diplomacy check, automatic at 13th level).

WAVES OF EXHAUSTION

School necromancy; Level sorcerer/wizard 7
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S
Range 60 ft.
Area cone-shaped burst
Duration instantaneous
Saving Throw no; Spell Resistance yes
Waves of negative energy cause all living creatures in the spell's area to become exhausted. This spell has no effect on a creature that is already exhausted.

If you stay continually exhausted, you're completely immune. Sleep is for the weak.

There's a cracked ioun stone which converts fatigue/exhaustion to sickened/nausea. Add landlubbers lozenges and you're fine.

Various other magic items affect fatigue/exhaustion directly. A cord of stubborn resolve for example. They tend to be more expensive.

The placebo effect spell, or (lesser) restoration can remove it afterwards. Lesser restoration may be best delivered in potion form.

As with most of life's problems, this could be solved by being an android.

Surfboard of Fatigue/Exhaustion?

The Concordance

A potion of Invigorate lets you ignore it for 10 minutes.

Spell Resistance?

Surmount Affliction will help if you're only fatigued.

Martial artist monk is immune to fatigue at 5th level and immune to exhaustion at 10th level.

Lesser restoration spell eliminates fatigue and reduces exhausted to fatigued.

Shadow Lodge

I wouldn't have thought of some of this. The Invigorate especially.

Liberty's Edge

Remember that fatigue only prevents ragers from entering rage. If they are already in rage becoming fatigued doesn’t cause them to drop out of rage.
