Adventure Path loot

Advice

Grand Lodge

In APs, is it expected that I create treasure for enemies that have nothing listed? Or do they merely have whatever equipment their bestiary stat block has and nothing more (i.e. I ignore the "Treasure" for any given encounter)?

edit: Specifically I'm talking about encounters that don't include the stat block in the book--but those that just say "Monster Name (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 4 192)"

If it didn't list treasure explicitly, I rolled some up. The treasure seemed kinda light if I didn't.

I think that the idea is that the loot is collected from multiple encounters, into fewer larger piles.

Take Kingmaker as an example. It's no surprise that some of the animals have no treasure - why would they collect it?
But then the Bandit King at the end of the volume can be given that much more loot.

Liberty's Edge

two things:
definitely have the treasure listed in the entry (though yes that's sometimes - often none) and secondly, if your party is over 4 people, the treasure will also be a bit light.

Treasure in APs should be about twice WBL (based on number crunching I've done in Skulls and Shackles, among other books). Parties won't get treasure after every encounter, but will instead get larger bundles of treasure less frequently. Later on, items from creatures becomes the majority of the loot, assuming one faces humanoids as they're well equipped. Parties should be able to sell everything for half and still be WBL
