Hi ever'body. I play the fawn cleric in DM Waz Up's Under The Shadow of Olympus campaign, and my lustful character wants less prudish female characters in the campaign with high Cha, but he'll take what he can get.
But what would a snake lady and a goatman make? Is that how you get Chimera? I think that might be how you get Chimera :D

You could do an Archery Ranger and have a lot of skill points, especially if you have the rolls to also have high INT.

Should qualify in the skilled category and has ranged hit power with a shiny sleep poison as her hat trick, can melee in a pinch next level can melee well. Will eventually have a decent pet and some arcane spells but always be an archer/skill monkey at heart.

My character in my writing partner's game is a swashbuckling grippli that regards being a proper wingman as important as his swordfighting techniques. I think he and Cantion would be a hilarious pair.
How long is recruitment? I probably won't have time to get something together until the weekend.
Can't stop tweaking... fixed hps because mythic, adjusted equipment to be a little more tricky and I realized I was an archer without arrows... Also fun note as a ranged character that can fire into melee without penalty or provoking does that pretty much also make me melee :P

As for Centaur, after playing with one I realized that they may not fit this game exactly. Sure they are thematic, but crawling through underground caverns is kinda hard for them...

I had a Centaur in a mythic campaign that took a bunch of powers around sunder to "fix" stairs into ramps because he was getting tired of the reflex saves :P

Hmm... I don't see many full application... Okay, I'll leave the recruitment open until Monday, to give those few still working time...
So I was sort of looking over the competition to see what I'm up against and yeah you're not spoiled for choices here (though I know which two I'd select.) I think maybe a part of it was several people had questions early on in the creation process that never got answered. Even my submission represented me taking a risk because there was no answer to my question/idea that Vishkanya could be reskinned as a an offshoot of Medusa linage. I took the time to read the other recruitment thread and your gameplay thread and made a judgment call that you'd probably allow it because it made for good story and my take on you is that you allow player agency if it's for a good story. That said I invested time and energy into that character writing a backstory and statting out a progression with the full understanding that you didn't necessarily approve the idea and could well tell me to pound sand and kick rocks.
I'm sorry to say this, but the more successful recruitment threads are the ones where the GM has been active in the thread. The problem is that many people that do PBP are here because their time for a game is limited, they don't wish to invest time into building a character without some feedback/reassurance they are at least on the right track.
I hope I'm not offending you (I can be a little blunt) as I'm merely trying to help what I see as a solid fellow GM get more choices next time he tosses out a recruitment. To my fellow submissions good luck.

Yes, I completely understand, and I did have alot if issues with getting to this thread when I first put it out. I'm glad my players took time to awnser some of the questions, well, I don't know hat to do now, I'll go through and look at the options today, I'll get those I want picked by the end of today.

Cool, If selected, I took the Vishkanya Feat that lets your poison blood be a sleep toxin. With permission I'd like to reskin that like they fall asleep in place sort of like they are being turned to stone, only weaker and for that sleep duration. No mechanical change just the look of it.
For what it's worth you have at least 4 decent options IMHO more if you give the old I'll pick you on the condition you finish your submission details by X time.
Okay I totally see the problem I guess. You have exactly 2 complete submission and 1 that's prolly close enough for consideration. I totally misread a few that posted under aliases that were not intended for this game.

Were it me, I'd roll with the 2 complete entries which in my opinion also did a decent job on backstory and clearly put forth effort but that's entirely up to you. I'm biased, but I think Alexandra and Chalkou are both awesome in completely different ways and give you a skilled and a tank but I have skin in the game so to speak.
Otherwise I'd start an entirely new thread and be "on" that one more or check in with my players and see if they have otherplayers in other games they want to recruit in.

I might just have to end the game... If I do however it gives me room to start a new game. After all, a group disappointed that a game failed can always have another chance in one of my new games ^-^

I really don't get that call but do you hommie. You might not have has many replacement options but you had 2 that met your requirements. Kind of a shame. Good luck to your players.
Okay I'm going to offer to run this game. I can get a recruitment thread and fill your holes inside a week. Heck you can make a character if you like and I won't even need to.
I've had a run at PbP before and I learned from my mistakes and I have 20+ years of GMing. I'm confident I can pick up the pieces and make this work. If you and your players are down make a character of your own I'll accept Chalkou (so make a skill character) and we'll move on.
My Illse of Minoa and overall greek/roman game might be different then you envisioned but I think you owe the players that stuck through this for you a chance.
