Theodore is just looking for his friend and fulfilling a favour to said friend. So the thought of setting up a Kingdom would never even cross his mind. He is also looking to prove to people that fighting isn't the only answer, however he also wants to get stronger so that he can protect those who need protecting when words fail.
If Theodore is selected as well as another melee type character, Theodore would probably want to spar each evening to keep his skills in tact as well as get better.
I reckon that headin' into the wilds could prove to be just the thing a man would need in order ta get away from the more "civilized" lands.
If the need for a township were to ever rear its head I think a more agraian philosophy would be something a man could be comfortable with.

I would love to be a part of this game, and every post after the submission feels like lobbying for my character's inclusion, which I hate. But it feels like I have to be as active as Faelar on this thread, in order to not give the impression that I am uninterested or apathetic. If the player who posts twice as much as any other gets selected, it would be very hard not to feel that their enthusiasm/lobbying was a contributing factor. This has been quite unlike other recruitment threads in this regard.
Don't feel that way. I've had this character in my head for about 3 years (my irl group at one point was going to run KMKR) and even if it's just goofing around it feels good to let him out.
Man that sounds crazy.
Also, not to sway anyone but, uh, tomorrow is my birthday...

Alchemy: Info is here.
Inspiration: 4/4 – 1d6 – An investigator has the ability to augment skill checks and ability checks through his brilliant inspiration. The investigator has an inspiration pool equal to 1/2 his investigator level + his Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). An investigator's inspiration pool refreshes each day, typically after he gets a restful night's sleep. As a free action, he can expend one use of inspiration from his pool to add 1d6 to the result of that check, including any on which he takes 10 or 20. This choice is made after the check is rolled and before the results are revealed. An investigator can only use inspiration once per check or roll. The investigator can use inspiration on any Knowledge, Linguistics, or Spellcraft skill checks without expending a use of inspiration, provided he's trained in the skill.
Inspiration can also be used on attack rolls and saving throws, at the cost of expending two uses of inspiration each time from the investigator's pool. In the case of saving throws, using inspiration is an immediate action rather than a free action.
Trapfinding: An investigator adds 1/2 his level to Perception skill checks made to locate traps and to Disable Device checks (minimum 1). An investigator can use Disable Device to disarm magical traps.

Born in the frozen trade hub of Port Ice, Khosis was the son of an illicit affair between Sigurd Surtova and Tessara Aeranae. The former a member of the ruling family that had now escalated itself into rulership and the latter a renowned alchemist. The two had become close when Sigurd, desperate for a son and looking for alchemical concoctions to improve his virility, came to Tessara’s shop upon the port. Taken aback by the alchemist’s beauty and then overwhelmed by her intelligence, Sigurd fell in love with the elf. Tessara had found the man to be charming, quick to laugh and witty enough to keep up with her sharp tongue. An affair blossomed between the two which led to Khosis being delivered late one spring.
Unlike most who would be considered a bastard, Khosis was not forgotten and left to wonder his heritage nor was his mother paid for her silence while Sigurd disappeared. The man had a sense of honor that was rare amongst the nobility and made sure to spend them with the half-elf boy who had his eyes, watching him grow as a man. The two of them would have long discussions, about life, philosophy, the arts, and the politics of nobles. There was no son born between Sigurd and his wife, leading the man to believe that he was not the one that was barren. He had been maneuvering himself for years now into positions of power and now had a lofty goal, to marry the alchemist after divorcing his wife and legitimizing Khosis as a scion of House Surtova. There were many tales told of the adventures that they would have, the hunting trips through the forests when Spring arrived or the additional spars they would partake in. Khosis grew enamored with this idea, his excitement building when his father’s wife passed away from illness one the harsh winters that came through.
However, the politics of nobles is a dirty and dangerous thing and Sigurd’s brother, Timeon, had plans for the land that his brother controlled. With no heir, no regent, the line of inheritance would land squarely upon him. During a voyage out upon the lake, tragedy struck and the boat was sunk by a freak storm. None could prove it was an assassination, none could say that his brother was involved. What had been promised to Khosis was taken away; power, prestige, wealth, a true family. His mother was distraught by this news and his father’s death affected her mightily. The quality of her supplies went down, she took to drinking to drown her sorrows, and (Khosis suspects) Timeon learned of his brother’s dalliances. Once reliable contacts seemed to shrivel up and disappear. Rival businesses had better contracts, quicker deals, and better supplies. His mother’s alchemy shop stayed open but they fell from their heights into a place of poverty.
Khosis did not stop learning though, hoarding the books his father had given him over the years and continuing to practice with his father’s favored weapon; the estoc. He studied the laws of philosophy, of logic and reason, learned the ways of science and magic partnered together. He learned his mother’s trade of alchemy and tapped into the arcane magic that flowed in his veins but that was not enough to rise them from their desperate state. In response, Khosis went to desperate measures.
Serving alongside brigands and pirates, Khosis would disappear for days at a time and venture out for nefarious purpose. He learned how to lie, to cheat, to steal, and become harder from the lessons he took from the world. Locks were challenges to overcome, guard shifts and routes were patterns to learn and defeat, and violence was a test of both reflexes and planning. Working with the criminal element put him in contact with a group of disgruntled individuals, people wanting their own power and freedom from the Houses. Allying with them, Khosis saw his opportunity to rise and take his birthright back from his uncle and assert himself as a proper noble within Brevoy. Yet it was this eagerness that was his undoing, as his uncle had eyes and ears throughout Port Ice and was prepared when Khosis made his move at last.
After a failed ambush upon his uncle, most of his conspirators had been killed or was set to hang. Locked away in the darkness of the prison, Uncle Timeon came to him and presented an offer.
”You are smart, too smart for your own good, but I have use of a man with your skill. There is something I want to have looked into for…opportunity. You will ensure that this expedition succeeds and lift yourself to more favorable positions. Understood?” The cruel man presented a piece of writing, a recruitment looking for adventurers to help settle in the Stolen Lands. At first, Khosis spat at the man which drew a laugh from the noble even as the guards drew their blades. ”That is what I expected, as stubborn as your father was. You both have the same eyes, you know. I wonder if his looked like yours when the knife found his back.” Taken aback by his uncle’s admission, Khosis found himself without words to say. ”Finally silenced that tongue of yours, did I? Think about it, if you die…who will take care of your mother? Next winter, she will freeze to death or become a whore to survive. Is that what you want?”
Leaning in with a wicked smile, the man continued. ”I will ensure your mother’s safety, take her as the family alchemist. She will survive the winters and it will ensure your loyalty to me. Betray me, and she will suffer before she passes on.” Stepping back from the bars, Timeon watched with a curious look. ”So…do we have an accord?”
It was with these thoughts that brought Khosis down along the dusty roads to the wild lands to the South, to the territory known as the Stolen Lands. He looked over the charter once more, his face grimacing at the memory of the prison and his uncle’s smug smile. ”I swear by the Savored Sting, I will pierce your heart with my blade and watch the life fade from your eyes, uncle.” Khosis murmured underneath his breath, folding the paper once more as he continued his journey.
Appearance:
Khosis stands at about 6’0 even and weighs approximately 170lbs. His hair is a shoulder-length white that retains the elven quality of being unusually straight and light. His eyes, however, are a charcoal black that almost seem to have flecks of amber within them. He has a lithe, strong body and does not appear to be physically weak or show a lack of endurance. It is easy to tell that his body is supple and quick.
His eyes show a sharp intellect and it can be seen in the way he scrutinizes everything, observing ceaselessly in all situations to ensure he has the most accurate information for the situation. There are piercing all along his ears, silver in color. He tends to dress in a mixture of a naval uniform and an alchemist’s coat, a majority which are colored black with white accenting. When travelling, he carries a shortbow along his lower back and a small quiver of arrows. A dagger is kept upon his chest more as a tool than as a weapon, as the long blade known as an estoc rests upon his hip. He tends to wear a black scarf as well, which has hidden pockets where he keeps a variety of items hidden
Personality:
Khosis is an incredibly intelligent and careful individual, relying on logic and facts rather than instincts and impulses. He tends to come off as very reserved and quiet at first, gauging his first interactions with others and letting them reveal more about themselves before he does. A former brigand, thief, and criminal, Khosis is quite adept at creating a persona for himself if needed and fitting into the world.
Those that earn his trust and respect, however, learn that he is loyal to a fault and holds himself to a strange sense of honor. He did his best not to harass the poor and destitute, he ensures to keep the most dangerous elements out of his neighborhood, and he does not betray those he works with ever unless they violate his moral code. A criminal he is, most certainly, but he does not enjoy killing innocents in cold blood. He couples this with a complete acceptance of underhanded tactics; blackmail, extortion, robbery, and eliminating a threat with a sharp dagger in the middle of the night are all sound maneuvers to him. He isn’t a bad man, just a realistic one, and is accepting that for the world to continue there must be realists amongst the idealistic. They need one another, in the end.
He truly enjoys showing off his breadth of skill and ability, proving himself to be a worthwhile asset and a calm head when emotions begin to boil over. All that goes out the window with the mention of Timeon Surtova, who he despises and constantly plots against to try to get back into the advantage. If given an opportunity to secure his mother’s safety and kill the man, he will take it without hesitation or regret.
Rulership Roles:
Firstly, I would love for Khosis to become the Spymaster. He is built to be a Spymaster and it’ll make interesting roleplay considering his situation. If that is not available, the Grand Diplomat would be interesting as well as he can be quite manipulative and shrewd to protect the kingdom. Lastly, if neither of those are available, he could be the Treasurer. It is a position of power and he is quite intelligent for it, though I think the former two use his abilities far more effectively.
Party Role:
Khosis is a great support character and will be focusing on increasing his Intelligence as much as possible, followed by his Dexterity. His damage will improve over time with equipment upgrades (Agile on the estoc, Inspired on the shortbow, etc.) and his inspiration powers will become more powerful as his intelligence improves and he gain access to more of his class features. Despite his low Charisma, Khosis is an excellent negotiator and spy and is easily able to convince others to do as the group wants with logic and reason. He also is a fantastic replacement rogue and with his alchemy set, can create a slew of concoctions to help the party. I have plans for him to pick up Brew Potion to help the party even further, especially once I can get more of the Potion Talents.

Appearance
Tove Hellstrom is a proud ulfen woman. She stands tall at 6'2 and weighs a little over 165 lbs. Her long, wavy hair falls in two fiery, red plaits down to the small of her back. Her fair skin is tanned, freckled and scarred from years of hard living and her piercing green eyes tell a tale of hardship and loss.
Tove wears a simple set of leather armor, a little roughed up from years of wear-and-tear. Erastil's holy symbol, a bow formed from antlers, with an arrow notched and pointed to the earth, has been burned into the hide breastplate, over her heart.
Personality
Tove is strict, arrogant and hardy, her personality shaped by having grown up on the fringes of civilised land. However, this isn't to say that she is mean-spirited or unfriendly. Tove has a soft spot for the underdogs in life and can form strong bonds with those less fortunate than the average citizen of the world. She remembers how difficult her past was and she works hard towards her goal of lifting others out from similar circumstances.
Tove will always stand up for what she believes is right.
Background
Tove was born and grew up a free daughter of two thralls in the service of an ulfen yeoman who owned a farm in southern Brevoy.
Tove's mother and father, Astrid and Orri, had been caught attempting to steal the yeoman's sheep a few months before she was born and life at the farm was all she had ever known. She lived happily with her family though, and even grew close to the yeomans' two daughters, who were around the same age as she. Unfortunately, when Tove was about 13 years old, things took a turn for the worse.
Early on one cold morning, the yeoman and his family were still sleeping in their beds when a freak fire engulfed the farmstead. Fearing that they would bear the blame for the tragedy, Tove's parents quickly took their daughter, and saddled two horses from the stables.
Together, Tove and her parents rode out into the early morning mist. They began their journey south, towards the stolen lands. Her parents were pioneers and had established an orchard on the banks of the Sellen river before falling on hard times and turning down the road that ended in their servitude. However, the way to their old property was lost to time. Over a decade of new growth had long overgrown the trails and the way had faded from memory. The Hellstrom family became lost in the wilderness and had to turn to their determination and faith to survive.
One day, a couple of weeks before she turned sixteen, Tove was gathering berries down by the stream that ran behind the family's small cabin in the woods. She dropped everything when she heard her mother scream and she ran back to the cabin only to find it empty. Her parents had vanished and were nowhere to be seen.
Nine years later, Tove is finally turning life around. She has spent the years since her parents disappeared devoted to serving the god Erastil, trying to distract herself from her loss by focusing on helping other families like her own. By doing so, she hopes to provide the safety and happiness that she once had to all, and end the suffering and hardships of frontier life by bringing community, law and order to the stolen lands.

DESCRIPTION

On the positive side, Ros is an energetic horse. Her coat is a basic fleabitten grey - a mostly grey coat flecked with brown specks, about the size of a fingertip. A lighter base coat is free from these spots along her belly and on the insides of her legs.
She has a long, braided brown mane, and a matching tail. On her face is a small white spot, in the center of her forehead.
Unfortunately, anyone getting too close will notice that she has quite bad teeth, and this dental misfortune results in rather foul smelling breath. Still, Tove loves her all the same.

Reknar |

Ok, so I managed to put a submission together - Reknar is a character I have been mulling in my head for a long time, and I think he fits perfectly in Kingmaker because he is not an Hero, not a King, nor a General... But maybe he could be nudged in the right direction, led to believe in something again, who knows? :D
(This is Albion's submission by the way - he starts off as Bard, and will mostly level as Bard, but he is a martial character, veteran sergeant kind of guy).
All info should be in the alias - let me know if anything is missing.
Cheers.

This feeling when a jaded, combat-experienced 35 years old man has zero XP and fighting ability in the realm of 16 years old conscript fresh out of training. APs' starting level requirement strikes again.

Godwyn Blaecwulf |

That's why older characters generally need good skills to show what they have been doing with their lives. Such as a dwarven warpriest at lvl1 who has +13 profession merchant when dealing with metal goods and gems (quite easy to get). So when you compare him to the 16 year old human fighter who can kick his ass, you go "yeah, but my guy is an expert in this area."

Aldizog |

A first level Fighter is a "Veteran" in the old Red Box. His experience is what makes him a better combatant than a "Normal Man", and 0 XP does not literally mean he's never done anything, but rather measures how far along the path he is from Veteran to Lord (at Name level).

Tavarokk |

Might've worked if all NPCs complied with this. At a glance, it seems that most seasoned folks have something like 2-4 NPC class levels, and if they're really accomplished in their field (military officer, mob boss, mayor, etc), another 1-2 PC class levels matching their field on top of that. Granted, NPC point buy tends to be really low, so the party tends to stand out in raw talent if nothing else.

AE-G5; "Aegis" |

Hey GM, this is JDPhipps with my android submission. His full backstory isn't on his profile but everything else is. I will do my best to have the full story up by then, but I'm actually on my way to the hospital at the moment and I don't have my computer with me. The shorter version is that he was "born" in Numeria and fled to the outskirts of Brevoy to evade the Technic League and Kellid Barbarians. His clothes and spellbook were trapped with him in his "pod", remnants of another life he knows nothing about. He feels drawn to the Stolen Lands by something from a former life, but has no idea what it is or how to find it; he hasn't entered on his own as those he's spoken to say the land is fraught with danger, but he views the charter as a means to explore for whatever is calling him there. My personal thoughts are that he's feeling the call of his Black Blade, which belonged to him eons ago when his body first fell to Golarion. It broke free of his pod and landed in the Stolen Lands. He knows he was trained once to wield a specific weapon but he doesn't know what it is; he's tried everything he can find but nothing seems to feel right in his hands, hence him wielding a dagger at game start if selected. Description of looks and personality are on the profile.
If it's alright with you I'll try to get the full thing finished a little later tonight and upload it; I know you're closing recruitment in a few hours, but I was hoping maybe I could get it a little later given my circumstances? If not I understand, but I've spent a ton of time on this character and I'd really like to pitch him in a complete form after spending so much time, so I'm hoping an extra hour or two would be okay with you.

Just a quick note to Aegis: Kingmaker is an AP which highly encourages having a decent charisma. While it starts off as just exploring the Stolen Lands, the PCs eventually start founding their own kingdom, with each being in charge of some part of kingdom management.
"While bright and typically compassionate, Aegis is horrible with other people. He understands theoretically how to communicate his intentions and speak with others, but most of his experience is secondhand; he often comes across as someone who has only watched others carry on a conversation and never done it himself, or as if he's only read about people talking in books."
Your character certainly is interesting, but I have trouble seeing him being in charge of a large group of people if he only theoretically knows how to communicate with other people.
In no way am I in charge of choosing who is in or out. Hell, with the amount of submissions here, I can merely hope to get in (this is the second Kingmaker I've tried to get into). But just from where I stand, you might want to find a way to change that. If nothing else, bruising intellect would allow you to have Intimidate +7. That, combined with his Dex18 would let him be an effective Royal Assassin or Spymaster....though either one would require a bit less compassion and brightness.

AE-G5; "Aegis" |

Godwyn, I'm well aware of Kingmaker's structure and everything, I'm actually running it now. Aegis was never going to have good Charisma as an Android. Aegis is meant to be a character who takes a role like Royal Enforcer that doesn't require Charisma to function. I am more than willing to let others take the Charisma-heavy party roles; there's plenty of stuff for non-charismatic characters to do, as evidenced by my own current party. I have no intention of having Aegis be something like a Ruler, he's meant to grow into a protector (hence the name).
In the future I'm possibly planning on Additional Traits to get Bruising Intellect and go to Cornugon Smash (maybe Deadly Carnage) later on. I'm going for Power Attack/Slashing Grace for general combat.
Still, thanks for the concern.

Anton Domnoff Lebeda |

@Faelar Good luck it would be great if we could play again together.
I've updated my character with more background, a better appearance section, and some notes on how I fit the character into the background system. It's in my profile but I repeat it for easy access here.
Anton's a simple soul all considered. He fights for Gorum and family. He could get some minor estate from family but who wants to die of boredom on some minor lands you didn't fight for? His family is concerned about damaged trade routes, and the tortured politics of Brevoy. More important, the Gorum Master of the Temple is concerned that the Crusader Road may be compromised both by the closing of some routes and civil war in Brevoy. While normally no great concern, more battle is all to the good, right now Brevoy is one of the few reliable routes to support the effort against the Worldwound. Numeria is ruled by madmen, other lands are too weak or far away to directly help. The roads must be opened! Anton will be fighting for that at start. He will find more reasons latter on.
An armored mountain of metal and flesh, Anton's massive size draws attention even before people notice his light green complexion and pointed ears. His attractive green eyes are backed by red not white. His mouth is often open in a laugh or speech showing his slight tusks that don't quite hide even with mouth closed. In formal dress, his silvered Headband of Gorum's Chain circles his short red hair, his pointed ears, and expensive furs collar his neck as a rich tabard barely covers his chest. On it is the Arms of Lebeda, differenced with Gorum's sign and the label of the heir. Golden tassels of presentation surround it that proclaim his status as an accepted noble of the realm. About his giant wrists are Iron Bands, masterfully wrought, depicting the brave deeds of St. Grigori. The noble robe splits below the waist, showing breeches decorated in the Lebeda colors, no true follower of Gorum would allow a robe to stop him from instant readiness to fight. In the field, the robes, expensive tabard, and jewelry vanish, clothes befitting the climate clad him, and over that a breastplate covers the chest. His limbs are only lightly armored in leather of good but not exceptional quality. In all but sleep, massive boots stomp the ground, treading lightly is not ever happening. Anton speaks in a light baritone with a rich and pleasant accent of the Brevic court. His voice is calm and reassuring, tending to sway people to actually talk to him.
The sounds of battle ring in her ears. Domna Lebeda, Knight of the Holy Order of Gorum, lies on that battlefield too weak to move. Thudding footfalls sound close. A grunt comes from behind as she is picked up and turned around. In spite of herself, she weakly screams as she stares into the face of an grinning Orc. Struggling helplessly, she knows the punishment Gorum has decreed for her failure...
… Head snapping back from the blow, Anton endures another of Mother's tantrums. “You'll not disgrace me again whelp!” Mother screams from her beet-red face. “You will learn the all the weapons of war, so you can demolish your foes and not make me look bad!” Anton says nothing knowing it will only make things worse as he tries to fight back against his powerful tormentor. Still he vows, I learn what I learn, Gorum's weapons are good enough.
… Years at the Temple of Gorum in New Stetven passes. Anton is on a battlefield acting as page, bringing water to the wounded. Going back to the river for more water he comes across a fallen warrior feebly trying to mutter prayers to Gorum. Anton stops for him and tries to help, saying the prayers with him. After a moment blood gushes for Anton's hands, turning into water, falling into the man's parched mouth. Anton is in rapture, filled with the strength of Gorum. The priest struggles to rise and croaks out, “Welcome to the fight, fellow Chosen of Gorum.”...
... Young Anton drags himself behind his mother wearily, the noble robes heavy with sweat in the hot sun, it's light fading into late afternoon. She pokes him hard hissing, "Stand up straight, Anton! Getting my Master of the Temple to legitimize you was easy, the damned greedy Abadarite expensive, but this cost all my few favors, The Rogarvia, the King himself will receive you in public court. With that it's high treason to question your legitimate place in the nobility.
... The light glistens green off the face of the man standing in an office full of battle trophies. He looks towards his superior with respect as the Master of the Temple speaks to him. “We are losing too many of our numbers. Many honorably in battle but many are seduced by the vile promises of wealth and luxury of the those damned Abadarites.” The man nods waiting for his master to come to the point. "Young Anton comes along well now?” Tilting his head toward his master, he replies, “Yes, but I am concerned; the blood we share leads to great rage and his mother's harshness drives him further, he may do well in battle rage but be of little other use.” The Master contemplates, then says, “Train him as a battle healer as well as Bloodletter, if Gorum so wills, that should help hold him back from being solely a raging warrior.” He smiles wanly, “After all, his mother counts for three.” The subordinate bows and says, “By Gorum's will and the strength of your sword, your will be done!”...
... The Master of Horse shakes his head strongly. "No, I don't care how noble you are Anton, you've grown like and beyond any weed. With armor and tack, you'd weigh about 25 stone. The horse that could carry you a single mile would be a ton and a half. I doubt the King owns that. You walk!"
…More years of battles pass. One day Bloodletter Anton is summoned to a Captain's office. He crashes his fist to his breastplate in salute. “Bloodletter Anton reporting as ordered”. The aging woman behind the desk scowls at him. “I just got a letter from my cousin saying she needs my help, first I've heard from her since her … elevation. I'm much too busy with Gorum's tasks to go, so I'm sending you to uphold family honor. Don't disgrace me. You will represent the family and, most important, the Will of Gorum in this newest venture into the Stolen Lands. Here's some money for you, don't expect more without results. You will get a charter, use it to find and beat down some enemies. Dismissed!” Anton salutes and pauses at the door. Impishly he says, “ Love you too, Mother. Bye.” He ducks out the door leaving his mother scowling at his back.
Friendly and engaging, Anton defies the expectations that people have of a half-orc. He's polite, and while talkative also listens to what others say. He mediates well for a follower of the Dread Lord of Battle, but always up for a fight if desired. Anton doesn't put himself above others often, even if most would because of nobility or the obvious divine favor Gorum shows him. He likes to put people at ease and inspire them to be brave and engage in life's many battles physical or otherwise. For all that he's not always nice, he doesn't stand for disrespect. He does respect commitment and bravery, even from those who's goals are unpleasant. He's not a moralist as most "nicer" faiths would see it.
Half orc
Homeland - Human Brevoy/Lebeda lands and the Bulwark of Gorum inNew Stetven, the royal capital.
Parents - Human mother alive, Faith of Gorum fanatic. Orc father's fate unknown but unlikely to be alive, would be old.
Sibilings - None human, Orc blooded unknown but probable.
Circumstance of birth - Noble, Minor heir to cadet house of Lebeda. Anton's mother is cousin to the mother of The Lebeda heir. They are also blood cousins to the Great House heir as well, but the link is several generations back.
Parents profession - Mother Temple warrior/likely priest/possible clergy. Father-Savage Orc War-chief, Anton has had no contact.
Noble rank - Great House Noble - ranking high but undefined. (Note: Anton ranks higher than usually allowed but has many challenges to making use of it.)
Major Childhood Event - 1) Unique - Legitimized. Mother bought patents of legitimacy from the Faith of Gorum and the church of Abadar. Also presented him at court to the Rogarvia King and had him proclaim her son her legitimate heir. (Anton is a debutante!)
2) Mentored. The Temple Master and the Master of Novices put special effort into making him more than just a brute warrior.
Adolescence and Training
Taken in by church, -raised by his fanatic mother and then in church barracks.
Moral conflicts and relationships
Moral conflict and subject-Humiliations, some in family hold his unfortunate birth circumstance against him, he has humiliated a few that tried to mock him for it.
Subject - Family
Motivation - Justice - Not his fault or mother's, just Gorum's will.
Resolution - No Guilt.
Deity - Gorum, Lord of Battles.
Romantic relationships-Little experience none serious.
Relationship with fellow adventurer-To be determine in play.
Drawback- none.
Good luck to all, I don't think I have ever seen so many great submissions.

Anton : It would be good to play together again, I had a lot of fun in the last game, although my character is definitely a different one this time, I was going to apply with Kerri but the exact same character had already been put forward. This time I see you are not putting Zaxarii forward, if I hadn't read your background breakdown I would have thought they were brothers. I like your character background breakdown section and if I apply for any more games on here, I shall have to do the same thing. It makes things much easier to grasp.
DMTalomyr : I don't know if it will affect whether I get into this game or not, but I live in England (GMT : 0) so my frequent posting times may be a bit behind everyone else. I will try to post as late or early as possible so as to not hold up the game at all, but I thought you should at least know, just in case.

Reknar |

Reknar wrote:This feeling when a jaded, combat-experienced 35 years old man has zero XP and fighting ability in the realm of 16 years old conscript fresh out of training. APs' starting level requirement strikes again.Ok, so I managed to put a submission together - Reknar is a character I have been mulling in my head for a long time, and I think he fits perfectly in Kingmaker because he is not an Hero, not a King, nor a General...
Cheers.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind starting him around level...4 or something. But hey, this means more opportunity for growth, right? :D
And by the way, best of luck to everyone!

Hey DM, I attended up being admitted to the hospital with no access to the internet until today, would you like me to finish and upload Aegis's full backstory on his profile? I understand if you don't in the interest of fairness, but if it's cool with you I'll do so.
A friend of yours PMed me on your behalf. Go ahead and finish the submission if you would still like to. The sooner you get do the better though as I am about 60% done with the selection process.

DM: if you don't mind sharing, what criteria are you using in your selection process?
I'm sure selecting among so many applicants is not easy.
Now, this is just a guess now, but, I reckon he's usin' the same method many of the Gods do when decidin' ifin they're gonna help us: toss a coin and see who Lady Luck favors.
