I'd allow a spell swap at this stage

PS: For that continuous Detect Evil familiar. I sure it would be picking up faint evil aura in the room.

Duskade alignment shifts between LE and N, depending what she is doing. Killing for pay is definitely evil act, especially being sneaky about doing the kill, but according to her rules of assassinations (thus lawfulness comes in). Otherwise she is rather neutral to everything else she does.

Well, I can get rid of my tattoo to get two healing wands. I suggest that we all re-jigger to see what we can add in healing.

I'm finalizing spells and gear but this alias is ready to go otherwise. Hmm... unless you're allowing Leadership, DM? A friendly intelligent undead cohort could be helpful for her; intelligent undead are too much of a hassle otherwise.

Okay, I'm going to drop two of my Reduce Person potions to pick up a Wand of Infernal Healing, but that will wipe out all my gold after that.


AYLA is good for both above and below ground.
darkvision for below and a larger size (with more reach and damage) for the surface

I'll take some titan gear to help shape our environment...

I already have that wand. Considering picking up the greater version of the spell. Its a 4th level slot but its a solid 40 points of healing.

Apologies, I don't mean to be a pain, but I would really like everyone to have Darkvision, if going underground.
Ahmose is stealthy and I would like to be able to take advantage of a like group, if possible....it never happens,
so it would be sweet...lol.

Well Duskade can benefit from negative healing if warned ahead before use. So not a total loss. She can take both positive and negative healing. Have ability to change to negative energy for a short while.


Only 4 people have darkvision out of 12 so not really feasible. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I put the 4 with darkvision and one with low-light in the underground team.

If Celestial Healing wasn't decidedly worse than Infernal Healing (which pisses me off to no end), I would say that would be a better option for Ilithial. Perhaps some GM fiat to fix that issue?

To be fair, being able to heal from negative energy is a bit less popular than darkvision availability; casters have spells...lol.

Merius is tricky because he's a human and so people just assume that he has the same defective eyes that most of his kind have. It's amazing that they've done so well with their night-blindness.

Of course both trapfinders and both kineticists have darkvision, which complicates things. We can survive with somebody with low-light, so long as he keeps to the back of the party and has a way to conceal his light when needed.

Now you are sending the warpriest, who can heal into the area where healing does not work well. Unsure what healing the Titan has but the three healers (Cleric, Skald and Warpriest are all together.

No perfect grouping I guess. With overland flight and dependence on Fireball I think Ilithial might be better off in the above ground group. Even some of my gear is picked for undead fighting. I'll go wherever assigned though.


The problem is I can either have balance parties or a party with all darkvision but not both lol

I have the undead anatomy spells, so me being with our negative energy cleric could be a good thing.

I could take trapfinder trait in place of student of philosophy, and rework a few skills.

LOL, my comp says me and diremerc posted at the EXACT same second. (had "posted 6 secs ago" for both XD)

and yeah, perhaps fully balanced parties may not be best, I know I've always wanted to play with a full stealth party to see how it goes. (usually, the paladin/fighter blows the cover...)

Looks good to me. Okay, so we now need someone on the Surface group to pickup trapfinding somehow. I could easily change one of my traits to do so, but I will definitely have to rework my skills around a lot of fit in Disable Device. I don't mind doing that, I just need to know before we start this baby up!

Team underground has a couple people that can heal with magic, and several wands (or will once I get back to Hero Lab). One of us regenerates and one has a force field that comes back. Plus we're sneaky. We're just playing on hard mode.

that regen only works is the thing that generated the wound was not using an evil aligned attack...


Assuming it works like normal regeneration you constantly heal all the time but being hit by an evil aligned attack merely stops you from regenerating for 1 round. Also you cannot die unless the enemy has someway of stopping your regen.

Here is the spell. Note that while the spell allows for answers of a few words as a goal the questions should be yes/no.

Duration 1 round/level
You contact your deity—or agents thereof—and ask questions that can be answered by a simple yes or no. (A cleric of no particular deity contacts a philosophically allied deity.) You are allowed one such question per caster level. The answers given are correct within the limits of the entity's knowledge. "Unclear" is a legitimate answer, because powerful beings of the Outer Planes are not necessarily omniscient. In cases where a one-word answer would be misleading or contrary to the deity's interests, a short phrase (five words or less) may be given as an answer instead.

The spell, at best, provides information to aid character decisions. The entities contacted structure their answers to further their own purposes. If you lag, discuss the answers, or go off to do anything else, the spell ends.
