So Horror Adventures came out, and for me, I've absolutely loved it. Corruptions are probably one of my favorite things added to the game so far (albeit with some tweaks so that they aren't so die in 2 weeks problems). I'm curious if any 3rd party publisher is looking at adding a few more options for them that would be fun.
I'd love to see some more options that focus on casters like a "magic addiction" style corruption that boosts a caster's power, but becomes recklessly deadly and adverse. Things that boost their spells, but cause them to not be able to control their powers as well, or have chances for the spells to "fumble" in a way that hurts them.

Oh yes, that would be awesome! I'm a fan of the new corruptions system but was disappointed by the small number of them, although I could understand why as space was limited.
Heck, I might even try my hand at it as my first stab in the dark at publishing!
Before I do that though, I would need to finish on some material I promised the community.

I think we are getting 3 new corruptions in the Horror Realms book. I'd be curious to see what niches are left over after that CS book, that 3pp can fill.
I'd also like to see more expanded options for the existing corruptions, so you could better match say more specific types of vampire or lycanthrope.

Maybe a corruption that comes from constant exposure to magic items, especially when worn all the time? Maybe a character that is constantly magically buffed in combat finds they are addicted to, or more susceptible to, specific spells or schools of magic? Maybe the ambient magic starts making physiological, mental, and/or soul-affecting changes? >:)

Rysky already suggested a wendigo corruption, and a linnorm corruption seems logical.
A hag corruption seems obvious for changelings, but maybe hags could figure out how to infect other humanoids too? Be careful of balms and poultices from the kindly midwife or hedge witch, or the smiling old lady that hands out sweets to kids in the village...
Drow and derro corruptions are no-brainers too.
Likewise, a fey corruption could fall on those whose pollution (mundane or magical) or logging/land-clearing begins to taint fey lands or disrupting fey rites. Perhaps the family running the local tannery begins to display Nick Bottom-y traits? Perhaps members of a logging camp might begin becoming dryad-y/nymph-y (including crossing the gender fence)? Or just fey being fey...
Corruptions don't normally effect objects, but what if an abundance of magical objects in close proximity--a wizard's library, a dragon's hoard, a talismonger's shop or merchant's magic shop--begin to corrupt the items with semi-sentience? The items could start displaying "willfulness"; Use Magic Checks start requiring higher DCs, wands misfire or fail to fire, spellbook pages stick together or pages even move. Even mundane items could be affected; furniture legs might become more trip-able, tools or weapons sometimes miss the mark unexpectedly, business and street signs might twist to point in the wrong direction of change their lettering. If the corruption isn't cleansed/dispelled, items might become animated or function with drawbacks/curses.

Rogue Genius Games and Everyman Gaming are in talks with some great freelancers (N Jolly and Isabelle Lee) to make some corruptions. We'll have more to say soon as the project develops. :-)
Some HEROICALLY great freelancers. Alex has been tossing around ideas, and we've been tossing them back, like a big old game of the american sport footing ball.
We've got a few cool ideas, some that have been mentioned in this thread and others, and some that haven't, but the end game is that we're going to work on making corruptions as cool for both sides of the table as possible. Having a corruption should be something a player can enjoy from both a roleplaying side of things and a rollplaying side, while still making them nice and dangerous to give a very real 'power at a cost' vibe to the mechanics.

Ordinarily, yeah I'd be wary too. But I've bought stuff written by Mr. Augunas & Jolly, and I've read mechanics/crunch & flavor written by Ms. Lee (her Kickstarter project is still in production)... so I'm confident that if anyone can pull off the "tempting abilities/power at a definite price", these three can.
I'm eager to see what Weables can cook up too (and happily welcome Maple Dragon Games).

I don't know s%+& about corruptions, but I've always been fascinated by being corrupted by the machine, stuff like the pawns of the A.I. in Iron Gods, or Lawnmower Man. :-)
Me too. There were at least two people talking about those kind of corruptions over in the Wayfinder #16 thread, so hopefully at least one of them will make it into the Fall 2016 issue.

Isabelle and I have been VERY cautious with our discussions with N about this. N has some great ideas, and I'm pretty optimistic about N's implementation about the idea. (I think Isabelle is too, but I don't want to speak for her.)

There is a thread in Suggestions/Houserules/Homebrew that rejigged the Corruptions to have more stages and be more interesting - not having read HA I am only going by the comments I have seen that suggested the system was inelegant and not rewarding in terms of player agency or roleplaying consequences - if the system can be improved without getting out of hand, that would be great.

I have the book, and I pretty much agree with what you said about it. N Jolly actually summed up my main view point on a thread which was that most of them aren't quite "tempting" enough to be worthwhile, and read more like straight punishments. The gifts aren't anywhere as a powerful as the negatives are. If I had one as written as a player, I'd immediately remove it ASAP instead of use it at all.
My biggest problem with it though was that outside of a few specific corruptions (possession in the most flavorful for this) you're not really being tempted with power/dark side. You gain a meager bonus and that's it. It's not the high risk / high reward stuff I had hoped.

Which basically allow you to actually live with them a bit longer (punishments are manageable), the source is more "thematically" appropriate too. You can use much stronger powers, but you run the risk of over-exposure to the corruption.

Well probably slightly different than the corruptions of the Horror Guide, I should soon be releasing a gothic horror Old West setting called Gothic Western with at least one included module - maybe two, and with Cthulhu styled aberration horrors.
There's a 100 point scale of acquired corruption that begin with various insanities, that lead to corruptions and eventually to horrific conditions that changes your humanity into something evil and alien.
The setting includes modernized Knights Templar, Texas Rangers, Pinkertons, Journalists, Shootists (magus archetype), and many more, even dog soldiers.

But of course its not the ONLY one we can come up with....
Its not like we have over 30 potential ideas for corruptions to draw upon if the Corruption Codex proves popular.
Also, we're DEFINITELY not in talks with a Mr. Clinton Boomer in regards to contributing to future Corruption Codices if fans buy into it.
That would be downright WICKED. Two publishers? Four of the best Pathfinder freelancers in the business?
