Welcome!
So, the good news first:
As Cosmic Dream Lord said, my Character Creation rules have a trap. Leadership will be granted for all of your "Main" level 7 characters for free, and you can get another feat besides it.
My purpose is to make a point: Whenever a DM recommends a course of action, even if weird, he has a good reason, and most of the time is a good idea to "accommodate" what he is saying. Like my insistence in you taking Leadership as your Level 7 feat.
No, Variant Multiclassing if not allowed anyway.
I would prefer for you not to redo all of your character, just get a new feat.
Yes, when your Cohorts get to level 7 they will also get Leadership for free.
Don't forget to make the alias for your Main and your Cohort. Fill the profiles.
Now the bad news. I haven't finished to review your characters. I'll do it as soon as possible, and work with you with any required changes / improvements.
Talking about improvements, for each character we should:
- Give it a secret
- Give it a special magic item
- Assign it to a "team", the party he has adventure with so far
I'll try to start the campaign as soon as possible (within a week).
And if you are getting bored, I recommend you start planning the next level for your characters. Your Main will become Level 8 / Mythic Tier 1; the Cohort Level 6, no Mythic tier yet.
Also read all the information you can about Brevoy, The Stolen Lands, Numeria and the River Kingdoms.
Let's do this!

Azrael the Avenger |

when you say 'give it a special magic item' are you talking about like a signature item? and what is the value limit on the special item? Just curious ... interested in thinking about what it might be before we start discussing.

- Give it a secret
* I will sent you a personal message
- Give it a special magic item
* Appoint one we have, or add a new one without special benefits?
Like a locket showing ones true love like she is add the moment.
- Assign it to a "team", the party he has adventure with so far
* What kind of teams? Maybe the rostlanders, the nobles, the royalists?

Azrael the Avenger |

team blue, red or yellow? lol sorry... too much Pokemon Go

Coalhouse Porter |

Heh. Added an extra rogue talent - 'Stand Up'.
Also, while I know the exact wording of Leadership is this ...
Followers don't earn experience and thus don't gain levels. When you gain a new level, consult Table: Leadership to determine if you acquire more followers, some of whom may be higher level than the existing followers. Don't consult the table to see if your cohort gains levels, however, because cohorts earn experience on their own.
... this doesn't entirely fit thematically with 'building an organization', time passing, people learning, and the like. As we increase our Leadership score, is it okay with you to 'improve' those NPCs we already have? Or are you going to stick with the letter of the rule?

Aolis Greenborn |

Checking in, well make an alias for my cohort a little later.
Fair warning, never played a girl. Mostly because I am a guy, so forgive any failings on that front RP wise.
Concerning Teams, we can pick a name once we have members sorted out. Personally I would suggest a balanced party. Arcane, Divine, Skill, and Tank minimum.

Aramil Wellys |

Well, shoot. Now I need to pick another feat.
Let's see, now...Might as well start working on my disarming ability. Combat Expertise it is.
I also need to figure out a cohort idea for Porablum. Thankfully I have a little time before I need to figure it out.
As far as teams, I think we should focus on arranging by way of backstory. Balanced parties are great, but it feels more organic when you group by way of backstory.

Azrael the Avenger |

dotted AND DELETED THE DOT in gameplay with main, cohort and familiar...
links to cohort and familiar are in profile of main.

Coalhouse Porter |

I'm up for Coalhouse and Alysandra being with whomever - they're baggage- and loot-carriers for hire, after all!!

Aramil Wellys |

I have done the same thing Azrael has done.
Hmm...must think of a secret for Aramil. And a special magic item...
Honestly, for magic item, it would be easiest just to go for an Aldori Dueling Sword. I'm not sure the easy route is the route to go though.

Special Magic Item: Yes, like a locket that shows how your loved ones are in that moment, if they are in the same plane. Something flavorful, a cantrip. A signature item. If you have ideas, I am all ears.
Secret: Yes, I will give it via PM, and you choose if to keep it, divulgue it or something in the middle. As with all secrets, it will eventually pop up (I think). You can propose a secret, but normally I am the one that assign it, as a way to tie you up with the campaign, preparing future plots.
Teams: You have not been alone all this time. Each team has worked together for years, know each other very well, and are allies. You know the other teams, by reputation mostly, and know them to be heroes, as you are. Don't worry about balance, as you won't remain with the team anymore. From now on you "pick and choose" which characters deal with each adventure. And yes, I was thinking Coalhouse and Alysandra arrive "later", and not having a previous team. Still working on it.
Followers: Will be used for RP purposes only. So it doesn't matter if they are adepts or clerics or oracles. The important thing is that you know you have a small team of people you can trust with missions in the background. The operating words here are: "Roleplaying only" and "Background". Just keep the number, and power level, in line with the leadership rules. The main difference is that they can "have" PC Classes levels as well as NPC ones.
Cohort of the Cohort: You have time (maybe more than a year). As a recommendation, a follower normally is a good choice for cohort.

Aramil Wellys |

Knew the easy route wasn't the way to go.
What do you think about a runestone that glows in the presence of a certain type of magic? Something like that?

![]() |

Something like that, if the magic is tied up to the background. Spells cast by your nemesis, or enemy race...

Coalhouse Porter |

How about ....
A 'pocket watch', but instead of hands and numbers it has three concentric rings with lights on it. The lights indicate the direction and distance of several (3-8?) individuals close to you, such as your familiar, your cohort, your leader, and your 'top followers'. The three circles (or the center circle and two rings) indicate 'within 100 yards', 'within 100 miles' and 'on this plane'.
Anyone whom you wanted to show up would also need one, and they'd have to be attuned to each other - or perhaps it'd be able to be locate 2 who didn't have a similar/attuned item, and up to 5 who did.

Amavin Zephyra |

Is this signature item just for the main character or does the cohort need one as well? Anyway for Amavin I was hoping something that correctly forecasts the weather (even if it's just 24 hours) would be something flavourful for her and hopefully not over the top.

![]() |

The cohort will have one too.
More than predict the weather, let you know when a thunderstorm will happen in the next 24 hours, or something like that.

![]() |

I would like to suggest for signature gear, a small dagger that glows red in the presence/when near Chaotic-Outsiders for Signature Item
I tried to be more....sylvan-y i guess with being a gnome. I gave myself athelitc when I didn't intend to, oops

Azrael the Avenger |

I'd like a Wayfinder, with Hareth having the same thing, that in addition to indicating north, they each know where the other is (general direction and distance if on the same plane, or 'elsewhere' if not)... maybe if these little signature items develop over time, maybe allow 'sending' between them or something - in future perhaps...

Aramil Wellys |

Hmmm...will have to think more on it. Maybe I can tie ancient ruins into it...
Porablum's is hopefully easy. I'd like her lute to be able to shoot rainbow colored sparks on command. They don't do any damage or have any effect apart from look cool.

Ishana Tamanna |

Hmm yeah Ishana is pretty tricky. I was thinking something appropriate for her deity, like a simple holy symbol around her neck ( I don't even mind if it ends up taking a slot) that has a non combat power, something relevant to what her deity stands for and had utility value somehow. Hmm, this might take a bit more thought.

Ignatius Digenes Akritas |

For Ignatius i think i would be his either his axe dealing non-lethal damage to targets who regret their actions or another indicative, so he may diplomacy them into surrendering (and eventually becoming part of his followers). Or the ring inherited from his late noble-birth mother, with some flashy thing to prove its a real sigil of the house it originates from.

Ignatius Digenes Akritas |

Btw any other follower of good ol' Iomedae or otherwise striving to make the world a better place one princess at a time, to have shared adventures with?
Per previous suggestions I think his team tags would be Tank, Law, not interested in politics and blue

![]() |

Titian,
The Dragonclaw Squire:
A little figurine of a knights squire made from a dragon´s claw, granting twice a day assistance in donning and removing armour. Like the spell unseen servant, but only to don and remove armor.
Fra Domenico
The elysium Box
A little box of laquered wood absolutly unknown of the material plane.
If opened it will make music. It comes from the choirs of Elysium and changes between a soothing choir, a glorie eleison and a more temperamental one (Think about gosspel)

Ishana Tamanna |

I really want something thats Ishana learn an NPC's desires / secrets / motivations or playing up a trickery / deception aspect etc but I cannot find a way to pull that off without said signature item being too powerful. Maybe the simplest solution might be having Ishana's weapon look like a golden whip (just visually) so I can tie something in thematically/

Merus Lebeda |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

For Merus, a snuff box that is impervious to the elements (opens with a command word) and always keeps the snuff completely fresh.
As to a secret, notice I took the Nemesis story feat so...
And for teams, whoever needs me to fill their needs, Merus is a front line fighter that uses demoralize a lot (Dazzling Display, Cornugan Smash, etc.). He is a DEX fighter so needs less than average healing support. I also have a decent number of skills (16 INT).

Stefan Tomanescu |

Stefan's item: a luck stone... j/k :) Not sure for him yet.
Same goes for a secret, no idea. However, he does have a criminal past.
Team: He is a Rogue but does not have trapfinding (his Disable Device skill is still good, but not specialized). He excels at ambushes and, like Merus, uses demoralize a lot (Rake archetype). Excellent skill set too.

Aolis Greenborn |

Team:
Still thinking about my feat but Aolis is basically a walking library thanks to his high intelligence and breadth of experience, he can at least take a shot at every kind of knowledge check (+6 is his lowest mod). His diplomacy is decent (+15, +2 vs fey) as he likes to negotiate rather then fight when he can, he has decent perception and sense motive (+15 and +13 respectively) so he is pretty observant and not easy to fool even without using magic. Fair warning he can sometimes be odd and unpredictable (by most people's viewpoint) but he is not chaotic, just wily. ;)
P.S. His full name is Aolis Greenborn Medvyed, for those types with noble connections.

Azrael the Avenger |

I want Aolis on whatever team I'm on for sure!!! lol

Elliomander Ostarian |

I (and Micah) can be on pretty much any teams. We're both NG (so L/C isn't a big deal for us), we both like to show the beneficial power of magic, and we both have abilities that let us buff/support other casters. We're also both linguists with some decent knowledges (especially Elliomander) and Micah has some decent face skills.
signature item, take 2: a copy of the Book of Magic (the scriptures of the church of Nethys) that appears to be written in the native language of whoever is reading it?

Ishana Tamanna |

Regarding teams, Ishana is very much a dexterity based fighter that attempts to dodge hits as best as she can, before trying to debuff as best as she can between Intimidate and Rime Spell. She uses non lethal whenever possible, probably due to Amavin's influence, but probably works best fighting along side that can make use of an enemies reduced defences, that can maybe cover the face skills she might be missing in Bluff / SM / Diplomacy. Realistically, could probably fit in on any team that had use for some part time arcane magic fighting alongside the front line in melee.
