Fylson the Megaloceros Exotic Riding Kit (Bit, Bridle, Saddle, Saddle Blanket, Saddlebags, Feed (2)) Portable Alter Wooden Holy Symbol (8; Nethys, Alseta, Kroina, Sivanah, Qi Zhong, Irez, Nalinivati, and Yuelral) Incense (20) Pavilion Tent Fylson is a massive elk rarely seen outside of ancient forest and deep wilds. His shining brown red coat would be impressive enough if not for his massive dark horns. A picture of awesome nature were it not for the saddle and reins upon him, yet even that seems to fit easy. Failing to dismiss the wild nature of the beastly elk.

Background:
Aolis was adapted by House Medvyed as a child. Little was known of him other then that he came from the Gronzi forest. Being a pure blood elf among a house of humans, his adapted father and even his heir grew old and died of old age before Aolis saw his coming of age. Yet it did come and he proved to have a head for numbers and other complex problems that was above the norm even for his kind. Growing obsessed with knowledge, having looked through some rare tomes kept in the house library. He would request tomes of knowledge for his name day. Having found strange writing in one of these tomes, he puzzled over it for weeks. That was until having grown to memorize the strange formula he traced a particular symbol he did not know while mumbling it's written form. Casting his first spell without meaning to, a spell to move small objects by force of will. This ignited a interest in not only knowing about magic but using it. The current head of the family obtained a set of basic magical tomes from a wizard merchant in New Stetven gifting it to Aolis. With in the year Aolis had learned and mastered the simple spells. These books at times had small references to other exotic magical traditions which only increased his curiosity and hunger to learn. Having finally reached the age of majority, being considered an adult, he approached the lord about visiting these far flung lands. Ever helpful to his ancient, in his eyes, sibling he agreed to help Aolis on the condition that he would work to expand the houses interest during his travels to offset expenses and gain experience as a noble as well. Aolis agreed and was on the first caravan out of Brevoy heading south with a load of trade goods. Using his families contacts he bartered his way from nation to nation always in the company of traveling merchants or fellow nobles. Selling, buying, and trading goods starting at Kyonin where he felt quite at odds even with his full blooded status. From there he left with elven made goods to Druma, where he traded for well made weapons and armor that he sold in Molthune, which he left with gold for Nirmathas where he had a stop over while making his way to Varisia. Spending a great deal of time visiting and studying the local magical traditions he even visited a few ruins before taking a ship heading south. He landed in Rahadoum where he picked up some trade goods, as well as some information on the old Jistka empire. Once more he took a ship to Osirion where he unloaded his goods and spent the better part of a year learning of the ancient pharaohs and their magic. During this time he learned of an ancient yet still staffed and run magical school in the Mwangi Expanse, the fact that an equally ancient empire of magical people called the Shory claimed the nation in the past only added to his desire. Not to mention the other bordering empires from the past.
It was here that Aolis fell enthralled to the ancient magical traditions of the falsely thought primitives. He learned that their magic was not only old but far less restrictive then even the greatest empires of old and much of the modern day traditions as well. He not only remained and learned but trained in their arts for the next decade. Becoming a true wizard, even briefly joining a group of explorers to the near by Sodden Lands on behalf of the academy. Still he had spent no small amount of time away from his home and family, they had kept in touch by way of letters. Yet he had dreaded returning and finding out yet more members of his house had fallen to time. It was only when he received a letter from home informing him of his lord's condition upon her deathbed. Apparently having been sick for over a year and even with his houses gold it was not enough to restore his health, for old age seemed ready to claim him as those before. Aolis raced home as fast as he could by way of caravan's and ships. Yet it took well over a month to get home, by which time his lord had passed. Aolis closed himself off in a corner of the houses estate, even missing the funeral and rise of a new lord of his house. Truthfully many of the current house knew little of Aolis personally, most only remember him from their childhood. As such they left him to his own devices during his time of mourning and cowardice. For that's what it was he admitted in his heart, he had ran. Ran from his pain, sorrow, and even duty to his family. He remembered the lessons he learned of virtue and the knowledge obtained from the moment he left home to the time he left his schooling in magic returning to the house. It had been so much and he had yet so much more before his time would come, if it ever would come he somewhat wondered considering the humans around him. Aolis emerged in time with resolve and faith, if he had so much life then he would not squander it away in such a pitiful manner. He would work to bring more into the world and make it better if he could. Magic had been his spark and passion, he would start with that. The swordlords claimed all by the sword, he would claim all by magic.
Appearance and Personality:
Age: 161 Aolis is tall as is the norm among elves. His blonde hair, blue eyes, and round worn face make him look more human then most elves. Something humans never notice but seems to be blatantly apparent to other elves. None the less his ears are pointed as any other of his people. In all other regards he is strangely average, an oddity considering elves take on the aspects of their environment. Still their is a subtle presence about Aolis akin to the feeling of a coming storm or gentle giant beast. What he lacks in physical characteristics he makes up for in his sense of style. Favoring what many would consider roguish attire and outlandish dress. A pierced ear with a serpent carved walking stick coupled with a head orbited by floating colored stones being some of the most apparent eye catching details. Far from the only ones upon closer inspection his clothes nearly recount the tales of his travels and the encounters that followed. A varisian scarf from the homeland of those wandering people, a vine etched mithral buckler from the elven nation of Kyonin, and his green spellbook with seeming growing herbs from distant Mwangi a few key items of that collection. Aolis is a slight mass of contradictions. Still he is practical more then anything else and flexible as needed. But like everyone their are things he simply will not do or tolerate. Betrayal of one's friends one such example and while he seeks diplomacy or nonlethal methods of conflict resolution. He is willing to fight or support those that fight against injustice.
