-------------------------------------------
Cavalier(Beastrider)
[/b]Weapon and Armor Proficiency:[/b]
Cavaliers are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, light, and medium) and with shields (except tower shields).
Challenge (Ex):
Once per day, a cavalier can challenge a foe to combat. As a swift action, the cavalier chooses one target within sight to challenge. The cavalier's melee attacks deal extra damage whenever the attacks are made against the target of his challenge. This extra damage is equal to the cavalier's level. The cavalier can use this ability once per day at 1st level, plus one additional time per day for every three levels beyond 1st, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level. Challenging a foe requires much of the cavalier's concentration. The cavalier takes a –2 penalty to his Armor Class, except against attacks made by the target of his challenge. The challenge remains in effect until the target is dead or unconscious or until the combat ends. Each cavalier's challenge also includes another effect which is listed in the section describing the cavalier's order.
Tactician (Ex):
At 1st level, a cavalier receives a teamwork feat as a bonus feat. He must meet the prerequisites for this feat. As a standard action, the cavalier can grant this feat to all allies within 30 feet who can see and hear him. Allies retain the use of this bonus feat for 3 rounds plus 1 round for every two levels the cavalier possesses. Allies do not need to meet the prerequisites of these bonus feats. The cavalier can use this ability once per day at 1st level, plus one additional time per day at 5th level and for every 5 levels thereafter.
-------------------------------------------
Order (Ex):Order of the Sword
At 1st level, a cavalier must pledge himself to a specific order. The order grants the cavalier a number of bonuses, class skills, and special abilities. In addition, each order includes a number of edicts that the cavalier must follow. If he violates any of these edicts, he loses the benefits from his order's challenge ability for 24 hours. The violation of an edict is subject to GM interpretation. A cavalier cannot change his order without undertaking a lengthy process to dedicate himself to a new cause. When this choice is made, he immediately loses all of the benefits from his old order. He must then follow the edicts of his new order for one entire level without gaining any benefits from that order. Once accomplished, he gains all of the bonuses from his new order.
-------------------------------------------
Edicts:
The cavalier must show courage in the face of danger, mercy to those who have wronged him, and charity to the poor and the meek. He must be just and honorable at all times and in all things. He must defend his honor and, above all else, the honor of those he serves.
Challenge:
Whenever an order of the sword cavalier issues a challenge, he receives a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls against the target of his challenge so long as he is astride his mount. The bonus increases by +1 for every four levels the cavalier possesses.
Skills:
An order of the sword cavalier adds Knowledge (nobility) (Int) and Knowledge (religion) (Int) to his list of class skills. Whenever the cavalier uses Sense Motive to oppose a Bluff check, he receives a competence bonus on the check equal to 1/2 his cavalier level (minimum +1).
By My Honor (Ex):
At 2nd level, the cavalier must select one alignment. (Lawful Good) As long as he maintains the selected alignment, he receives a +2 morale bonus to one saving throw of his choice.
-------------------------------------------
Beast rider:
Exotic Mount (Ex)
At 1st level, a beast rider forms a bond with a strong, loyal companion that permits him to ride it as a mount. This mount functions as a druid's animal companion, using the beast rider’s level as his effective druid level. The animal chosen as a mount must be large enough to carry the beast rider (Medium or Large for a Small character; Large or Huge for a Medium character). The beast rider does not take an armor check penalty on Ride checks while riding his mount. The mount is always considered combat trained, and begins play with Endurance as a bonus feat. A beast rider’s mount does not gain the share spells special ability. Each time the beast rider increases in level, he can choose to select a new, more impressive mount better suited to his increased power. Small-sized beast riders can choose a pony or wolf mount at 1st level. At 4th level, a Small beast rider can also choose an allosaurus, ankylosaurus, arsinoitherium, aurochs, bison, boar, brachiosaurus, elephant, glyptodon, hippopotamus, mastodon, megaloceros, riding dog, giant snapping turtle, triceratops, or tyrannosaurus. At 7th level, he can also choose a dinosaur (deinonychus or velociraptor). Medium beast riders can choose a camel or horse mount at 1st level. At 4th level, a Medium beast rider can also choose an allosaurus, ankylosaurus, arsinoitherium, aurochs, bison, brachiosaurus, elephant, glyptodon, hippopotamus, lion, mastodon, megaloceros, giant snapping turtle, tiger, triceratops, or tyrannosaurus as his mount. Additional mounts might be available with GM approval. In addition, a 7th-level or higher Medium beast rider can select any creature whose natural size is Large or Huge, provided that creature is normally available as a Medium-sized animal companion at 7th level (like a bear). To generate statistics for such a mount, apply the following modifications:
Size Large
Ability Scores Str +2, Dex –2, Con +2;
Increase the damage of each of the mount’s natural attacks by one die size.
A beast rider cannot choose a mount that is not capable of bearing his weight, that has fewer than four legs, or that has a fly speed (although the GM may allow mounts with a swim speed in certain environments). Anytime a feat or ability allows a mount to make a hoof attack, it can make a claw, slam, or other analogous attack instead.

Feats-Traits-Skills:

Feats:
Mounted Combat (1)
Once per round when your mount is hit in combat, you may attempt a Ride check (as an immediate action) to negate the hit. The hit is negated if your Ride check result is greater than the opponent’s attack roll.
Ride-by Attack (H)
When you are mounted and use the charge action, you may move and attack as if with a standard charge and then move again (continuing the straight line of the charge). Your total movement for the round can’t exceed double your mounted speed. You and your mount do not provoke an attack of opportunity from the opponent that you attack.
Precise Strike (T)
Whenever you and an ally who also has this feat are flanking the same the creature, you deal an additional 1d6 points of precision damage with each successful melee attack. This bonus damage stacks with other sources of precision damage, such as sneak attack. This bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit.
Power Attack(3)
-------------------------------------------
Traits:
Sword Scion
You have lived all your life in and around the city of Restov, growing up on tales of Baron Sirian Aldori and the exploits of your home city’s heroic and legendary swordlords. Perhaps one of your family members was an Aldori swordlord, you have a contact among their members, or you have dreamed since childhood of joining. Regardless, you idolize the heroes, styles, and philosophies of the Aldori and have sought to mimic their vaunted art. Before you can petition to join their ranks, however, you feel that you must test your mettle. Joining an expedition into the Stolen Lands seems like a perfect way to improve your skills and begin a legend comparable to that of Baron Aldori. You begin play with a longsword or Aldori dueling sword and gain a +1 trait bonus on all attacks and combat maneuvers made with such weapons.
Principled
You hold yourself to a strict code of behavior that guides all of your decisions and actions. You take a –2 penalty on Bluff checks and gain a +2 trait bonus on saving throws against charm, compulsion, and emotion effects.
Seeker
You are always on the lookout for reward and danger. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks, and Perception is always a class skill for you.

Appearance:

Titian is a large man (6´2"), muscular young man of Taldan ancestry weighing 175 pounds, with short brown chestnut hair and clear blue eyes. Hours upon hours exercising have given him the broad shoulders and strong legs. His hands are callused and the little finger on his left hand is a bit awkward, when it was broken and didn´t heal properly.
His voice is a softspoken bass, but when necessary he can speak loud in quick short sentences, as befitting to a warrior.
He usually wears blue leggins, with an black linnen shirt and an orange vest, and his shield shows the lebeda crest, but with a black swan. While campaigning, he wears black leather leggins, with black riding boots, a strong cream linnen shirt under a soft brown jacket and his crest as a belt buckle. Complementing this outfit is a hooded cloak of black warm wool and a black hunting cap.

Backstory:

“EnGAGE“
He was allowed to live in the ancestral fortress of the Lebeda, far away from curious eyes, together with his mother, until his 5th year, when she was called away to New Stetven, to aid the family in the shadow dance of royal politics.
The separation was painful for the young boy, made even worse when he was given to the care of the castellan, Master Blade Prodloise.
All to prepare Titian for the destiny the Matriarch had in might form him. To enter the Order of the Lion to gain a foothold to better secure the future of the family.
Under his hard, watchful eye he was castle-trained in sword and dagger, lance and bow.
From the maesters he learned about the country, history and the other noble families, how to behave and what to say to dodge the many traps of courtly intrigue. Any mistake was punished, on the surface just with harsh words and the occasional clap. Master Blade Prodloise believed in the maxim, spare the rod, spoil the child. And in the night, unseeing to the others, he was punished by the rod and the belt. Prodloise was careful to target existing bruises from the daily training. When Titian tried to tell the truth to other members of the castle, or his mother on her rare visits Prodloise called him a liar and lazy.
For 3 years, the life of Titian was a living hell, being starved and beaten and without love.
But the gods are merciful and Titian´s life changed when Lady Kadwen, a swordlord and her husband Renon, a priest of Erastil, entered the Lebedas entourage and moved to the castle.
Renon was not to be deceived and pretty soon he got the young boy to confess everything.
The next day Lady Kadwen, seeing Titian train in the courtyard, beaten mercilessly by the Master Blade. Her temper flaring, she mocked the Master Blade, belittling his stance, the way he held his blade and his sloppy technique.
Prodloise was a vain man, unused to critique, so the Master Blade challenged Lady Kadwen to a duel. Kadwen took a practice sword, but Prodloise insisted on true blades. Taking a huge, sharp twohander he stood against Lady Kadwen´s rounded steel blade.
Prodloise, a bearlike man with tremendous power seemed to dominate the duel, but Lady Kadwen moved like a butterfly and gradually Prodloise swings became slower and with less force. But Kadwen was also battered and bleeding from many small wounds.
With a roar Prodloise got a second wind and with renewed vigour he hammered his blows on Kadwen, pushing her finally on her knee, breaking her blade so that just one foot of steel blade showed. Taking a moment to savour his superiority he raised his sword as if to do a decapitating overhead chop.
But Kadwen was down not out and seeing the perfect opportunity she rammed her blade, now with a sharp point where before there was just rounded edges and tip, up under Prodloise chain shirt deep into her opponent's body , the tip finding its way all to the kidney.
For many a moment nothing happened, till Prodloise dropped, dead before his head touched ground. Renon rushed forward and quickly healed his wife, but his faith was not strong enough to save her opponent, not that he wanted to.
A week later Elanna, the oldest daughter of Lady Sarrona Lebeda arrived at the castle to investigate the death of a valued vassal, with Titian´s mother accompanying her.
The circumstances were simple, while the duel was beyond the rules, Prodloise use of a real sword compared to Kadwen´s practise sword made it clear, that Kadwen was not to be punished; she even was promoted to Prodloise old position.
And Titian was given in her care.
The young man fully understood what had happened and why it had happened.
From now on Titian trained with a smile and soaked everything the couple taught him like a sponge. Love and thankfulness is the strongest motivation to learn.
Kadwen taught him how to thrust, parry and slash and the stances and moves of the swordlords and the code of chivalry together with her husband.
When his time came, Titian was escorted to Knightly halls, and encouraged to lay down his Sword before the Knight Commander of the Lion order, Lord Antoine. Titian went to the man, who stood with the others to welcome new recruits, took his castle forged sword, kissed it, and in his first act of real defiance, laid it before the Lord Commander of the order of the sword, Lady Constance sanSurtova.

Embarrassing not only the Lord Antoine and the order of the Lion, but especially his own family.

But the Lebedas take care of their own, no matter how embarrassing the circumstances.

Plot hooks:

Who is Titians father?
Was his early year mistreatments on order of some high up in the family?
What will be the fallout of his defiance.
