Don't mind me, I'll just soldier on. Alone.
Only one forum member in Wisconsin, and only one (other than staff members) anywhere near the Paizo headquarters.
Maybe start having Paizocon in London? Or New York? Wait, no, that's a terrible idea. Forget I even mentioned it.
There is a PaizoconUK, but it's in Birmingham.

Evening all, thought I'd pipe up as Ireland only has one pin in it. I'm originally from Birmingham in the UK (There seem to be a lot of us from there, used to work in Wayland's Forge so hi to any of the old customers) but now I live in Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Which is still technically the UK. Put me down for Ireland or UK. I don't really mind.

I'm surprise there isn't any one from the Montréal region in Québec, Canada.
If you zoom really, really close to Montréal. You'll see the town where I'm from. Keep zooming, it's there. It's called St-Eustache. Found it? No? You didn't zoom enough yet! It's north-west of Montréal.
Oddly enough, having gotten lost driving through Montréal a number of times, I actually know exactly where you're talking about.

What's amazing about that is it really underscores how big this country is. 55 other people, and not a single one within 75 miles from me.
According to Google Maps, the closest pin to your location is approximately 140 miles away.
The closest pin to my location is approximately sixty miles away, and my state has six pins in it. The US is f~&~ing huge--it's the third-largest country in the world by total land area (after Russia and China), and fourth by total territory (after Russia, Canada, and China).

140 miles... that'll get me only a little ways past Delta Junction in a mad scramble for the Canadian border!
The closest pin to your location is in Skeena, BC, a distance of approximately 1250 miles.
The most isolated pin on the map is located in [unspecified], South Africa. Its closest neighbor is the pin in Cairo, Egypt, a distance of approximately 8800 miles.
Speaking of things that are f~#&ing huge... Africa.

It's distinctly possible that by some measure that's correct. I've seen them listed by total land area, total territory, total land area plus total freshwater area (but not saltwater area), and a bunch of others. Plus some of the lists I've seen were drawn from a mixture of sources.
Here's where I got my information: Wiki page w/links to sources
Whichever way you swing it, though, Canada's really big.

Let's be frank: The US is better described as an "empire."
What's to "start on?" It just is. We may not like to think of it that way, but the history, geography, and social dynamics are all there. Even if you buy into the silly "salt water rule," Hawaii and our globe-spanning network of military bases fill that criterion. That's all. It shouldn't be a bone of contention.

That all you got, Sissyl? Try German-Swedish-Hungarian (Jewish)-Ukrainian (Jewish)-French Canadian with possible trace amounts of North American indigenous-trace amounts of British Isles salmagundi! I'm NATO-in-a-can!
Maybe you should try this: DNA test
You would know how much of each you have and see if you have some more hiding in there!

Well, several lines, but all whirling around in Denmark and Germany, maybe one from the Netherlands, possibly one jewish line, it is pretty focused on our current area. Still, fourth generation immigrant.
