Update #2

Currently, the United States has the most members, but the United Kingdom has the US beat for sheer density.

It's alright captain, I'm here in the Midwest with ya.

Yay!
tips one of wraithguard's cows

I grew up on a farm, and let me tell you, cowtipping doesn't work the way it thinks you do. It will either cause the cow to simply move away or turn around and the kick the living crap out of you, unless she/he charges.

I grew up on a farm as well, until 18, I've never actually tipped a cow, but I never told my dumb ass town friends that when they tried it. :-D

Heh...same here.

You'd think they'd figure it out when I'd stay close to the fence. :-)

See, you midwesterners are screwed up, I spend a lot of time screaming at tourists not to get so close to the moose...

I didn't grow up on a farm, but I had met enough people from farms and heard enough stories to not want to try tipping a cow.

I also have a very good friend that grew up in Alaska. I have been duly warned about moose. This is one potential tourist that definitely wants to give them space.

Wimps!

I went up to a moose just yesterday, and I'm doing great!

During the winter months, sometimes deer appear in my backyard and start sniffing about for food to munch on. Sometimes they even bed down in clear view of my bedroom window for a nap.

That is, when they aren't walking on the sidewalk when other pedestrians aren't around. :)

Hey I am from the mid west... But sorry I have no cows for you to tip. A city girl to the core. I mean I LOVE the wilderness -just look at all those amazing mountains to climb. But I certainly wouldn't want to live in the wilderness full time.

Deer. Here in western Kansas we call them the "vermin of the plains". Well I do anyway.... We need to figure out a way to reintroduce the wolf population out here. That would show those deer and their jumping out in front of cars shenanigans.

True that. I'm much happier with the mule deer here in Colorado. They sometimes saunter across the road, but there's none of that OMG PANIC LEAP IN FRONT OF CAR crap that midwestern white tails pull. Mule deer are chill.

I've seen more reports of mountain lions in the neighborhood than actual deer.

Never been to the cheese rolling, must do that some day. Bunch of nutters. English "sports" are just plain weird (and I'm English!).
