I purchased the bundle 2 weeks ago and still can't get it to download a single thing. This is getting really annoying when will this be fixed so I can download my files????
Perhaps you'd get more help if you state the process you're using (e.g. what OS, what browser, and how you're actually firing off the download -- do note you need to click the thing twice to download it). Lots of other people (myself included) are able to successfully download files.

OK. So we've not been getting a lot on this today but I thought I'd update anyway so you guys know what to look for. I replaced remote1 today and those that were downloading a file when I replaced it will be getting not founds and should repersonalize. All of the download servers should now support tlsv1.1 and tlsv1.2 with perfect forward secrecy so that should fix people who had problems because of lowered tls versions. I've set the servers to have a relatively even distribution amongst our visitors so while speed will not improve, initial connections should improve quite a bit. For the time being we have a lot more capacity to handle the downloads so thanks for your patience everyone. I know some of this has been steadily and incrementally getting better but this should be the final stage. Feel free to let us know if you see anything else weird. After tonight. =)

I redeemed the code I got from the Humble Bundle, should I be seeing the Humble Bundle items under the "My Downloads" link? All I'm seeing there are the two freebies. Or are the HB items downloaded from somewhere else?
I know that there are issues and I'm not wanting to add to the problem, just wanting to know if I am looking in the right place...

You mention you only redeemed "the code", which implies singular. You should have gotten multiple codes, one for each of the different tiers of rewards. It's possible that you only redeemed the single code for the freebie tier.
Hmmm, therein lies the problem then. I'll have to check my email for the codes as I bought into the second highest tier and I only see one code listed on the Humble Bundle site.

I'm getting nothing but 404 errors. It's saying none of the files exist on the server. I have only been able to download the free books. Every other book is a 404 error. I haven't even tried to redeem the other 2 tiers, yet.
Never mind. Ordinarily, I despise Chrome, but it turns out, it's good for something. What Firefox couldn't do, Chrome could.

your email from humble bundle has only one key
it's a link to the humble bundle site, click itit should take you to a page that has several options, one of which should say "click here for your paizo keys", click that
that should show you the 5 sections where you get the individual keys that you use on the paizo web site to get your stuff

As to getting the goods:
I'm downloading 2 PDFs right now and both the personalization (actually took about 60 seconds) and connecting issues (was able to connect on Chrome for the first PDF, had to copy link to IE for the second, but it connected fairly quickly on IE) are much better. Download speed is still painful, but this is a much less frustrating experience.

Been getting all 404 file not found errors since this morning. Variety of devices, operating systems, browsers. Any update on that issue? It was mentioned above but hasn't been addressed.
Steerpike7 - What are you getting a 404 trying to access? Pages on the site or PDF downloads? If so, which downloads? Our system does purge personalized downloads eventually, so if you're trying to use a link from multiple hours ago there is a chance it was removed but so long as you access it within a couple of hours of personalizing you should be fine.

1.45 hours to download a 134 MB file...Am I time travelling back to the 90's?
This is absurd-Upgrade your bandwidth and service your customers with a decent DL time.
Under normal load I recieve my downloads in less than 50 seconds. This is an abnormal time for Paizo with the ridiculously large response to the Humble Bundle. I can assure you that Paizo will be upgrading things if this turns out to be more than a temporary problem.

Hey budejovice, our Tech Team is doing everything that they have currently available that can be done to ease the issue. Right now downloads are personalizing quickly, however, we still have a large number of users hitting our servers, which will affect download times. We recognize that this is frustrating, and should we have any news to provide, we'll post it

You guys have bragged about 2/3 of your bundle buyers being new users of paizo.com. How many do you think will return? How many do you think will even continue to try download what they have paid for?
I recognize that a Paizo staffer has already replied to this but it bears repeating...
The demand in the first 48 hours was more than triple the previous best-selling book bundle's sales over two weeks. Having heard of Humble Bundle wasn't the issue.
Folks, it's a good philosophy in life that when you're getting ready to rip into someone - for anything - to take a moment to try to see if there's another side of the coin. If there's missing information. If there's extenuating circumstances. Because once you crucify someone, once you cross a line, once you burn a bridge, it's all over. Doesn't mean there always is another side etc, but it's always a good idea to look for it.

The last couple of days I have managed to download what I want first time without much wait time. Back using Chrome instead of Firefox so everything seems to be running a lot smoother. As a new player from the Humble bundle I would like to thank you for not only providing so much cheaply, but also for your hard work trying to make things run as smoothly as possible.

Thank you, I have managed to convince a few friends to get the bundle as well so we are hoping to learn together in a few games. So much great info on this website it is difficult to know where to start

I found that the downloads ran much faster before 6:00 AM Eastern Time, and that was well before the bundle offer ended.
I now have received all of the Bundle PDFs that I didn't alredy own. Honestly, the $25 pricetag was worth it solely for all of the PFS Season 6 scenarios, none of which I already had. (While I'm not a PFS player/GM, I regularly adapt scenarios as adventures in my Golarion homebrew campaign.) And I'm getting a Beginner Box as an added bonus!
Thanks to the Tech Team! As an IT professional myself, I totally understand what it's like for a site to have a significantly heavier load than expected, even after a respectable amount of use-case modeling and market research. Sometimes, you just don't know how popular an offer will be!

Just wanted to say thank you to the tech people for fighting their way through getting absolutely buried.
It took a while to get my stuff at the time, but with so many people trying, I wasn't surprised. For a while there, it looked like the number of bundles sold was jumping by the hundreds every few minutes.
Being new here, I also appreciate that it wasn't just a mouthpiece saying the same canned responses (which always feels like shorthand for "we'll get to it in our own time, deal with it"), but the people working hard to manage the overload. Never got the feeling that those behind the scenes didn't give a crap, which is downright refreshing, honestly.
Looking forward to getting into some games, grabbing some more stuff (trying to not drool over the Cthulhu and horror-related items too heavily), and having some fun. Hope the insanity's finally dying down a bit on the tech side of things.

The insanity does seem to have died down finally. At least, I had no problem downloading a bunch of pdfs I bought yesterday. Kudos to the staff! ::)

Any idea when the Chrome issues will get worked out, I download onto my phone with it, and while I get the whole 5 seconds message, and then it starts to download, it's called Untitled and doesn't give a time or percentage downloaded, just keeps running, in perpetuity...
I'd rather not have to figure out how to switch browsers on my phone. :-)

Probably won't be "fixed" for Chrome until the downloads are back up to speed which will be when the traffic is lower. That would be my understanding of the situation.

You picked a good time to join the community, if that's what you like :-) Horror Adventures should be coming out in July, and Strange Aeons (a Lovecraft themed adventure path) should be coming out the month after. So that should give you plenty of time to get comfortable with the rules before they release!

I also would like to say thank you very much to the Paizo staff for all they have done to sort out the issues.
To those new players who understood that neither Paizo nor Humble Bundle anticipated the success of this promotion, thank you too for sticking with them through all the problems! We'll be back on track and better in fact for the changes/upgrades these problems forced Paizo to make.

Have we got any idea when the Beginner boxed sets will come off of backorder? I ordered mine the day it went up on HB and had a target date for shipping...but now it's in a "on backorder, no idea when" sort of answer.
I get the web servers being bled dry, but surely the load on the physical boxed sets were less than that.
Just a ballpark timeframe would be hugely helpful.
