Ed,

Not quite the same thing since I'm pretty sure the mosquitoes here aren't as big.

Also John, darn.

This has been the coolest and wettest August I think I can ever remember. So far most days haven't breached the 90s and it's rained at least half of the month so far with more on the way tonight and tomorrow. Makes it tough to walk the hounds because they hate the rain and it causes the mosquitoes to become even more emboldened, larger, and more blood thirsty, sort of like buzzing little Hulks.

I dunno about coolest here...but it's damn sure been the wettest and probably most humid I can recall in a while...

WHAT YEAR IS THIS??????

LOL I hate to break it to ya, but...

I just took a break from How To Survive, a survival game of struggling through series of islands overrun by zombies... Forgive me if I am a bit skeptical of the forum's "alive" status.

I survived. *holds up the decapitated head of Thanos*

Oh no! That is the wrong Thanos! You just decapitated the Thanos from universe 28376. That Thaonos is a good guy!

Bravo, sir. Bravo.

That was exactly what I expected...

Does that mean my brain works like Sharoth's one?!

I'm afraid so.

I still want my Punisher Thanos!! :p ;)

Also I'm glad to see Cal.

Thanks, Thomas! Glad to see your helmeted visage, too! I think I was a little too excited when the boards came back up. I truly need a life. Or a hobby. Wait...

Patrick,

Hey at least you rate a Meh and not something equally boring. ;)

3 people marked this as a favorite.

Well, I’m glad I rate at least a meh on my own fncking thread. Sorry I don’t live up to your expectations. ;). See? Winky makes it all better!

Oh and you can leave my name out your mouth. F’real, kid.

I love you too. Also I thought this was an open thread...

Dark Archive

Well I for one miss Freehold and Patrick. Hope you are both doing well. Patrick next time you are up this way you should tell me and we can meet for lunch in Sandwich. I can't believe it has been 2 years since you started this thread miss the gang who was around here then. Maybe we can get some of them to come back? I know real life gets in the way a lot of times but we should try and get together and play sometime soon. Lets talk soon.

Hi there!

I'm glad to see the site is back up again. Hopefully, this time it will last.

I've met Patrick in person and roomed with him at GenCon, so I have a much better-than-meh impression of the monkey. ;)

My wife and I talk about making the trip up to New York, which would allow me to finally meet Freehold and also say hi to Celestial Healer, both of which would be good things...if only to convince Freehold how wrong he is about Joss Whedon. ;)

I LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOUR WIFE!! And absconding with her, as you are clearly more interested in Whedon...

She is a lovely person, but I'm not sure about her stance on abscondingment.

Thank you sir I appreciate that. Been a while since I have been able log on and not just because of the current web site problems. Trying to get back on here good beginning to catch up with people.

On an exciting note today is my 7th anniversary so going to go out a nd celebrate with the wife tonight. Probably head to Providence and have dinner at one of our favorites or something more local.

So hopefully I will be back here a little more often then I have been of late. Hope everyone is doing well.

the black man wearing a geeky shirt taking your order tonight is totally NOT me, even if he attempts to abscond with your wife mid-celebration and uses orc-bane weapons.

I didn’t tell you to leave. I unfortunately don’t have that ability

I can tell you not to say my name, talk to me, or reference me in any way.

As you said, it’s an open thread. If you disrespect me, expect an open smack.

Good to see you brother!

This is a man I admire, who I am proud to call friend

We have drunk flaming absinthe shots under the Elder Sign, eaten Bonchon and takiokai, wandered the streets of NYC drunk as lords and eaten much waffles and/or dingles

Welcome, as always, FreeholdDM.

Indeed. Although I roomed with him elsewhere. We have drank, and feasted, and indulged in the glorious decadence of the Paizo Con. Definitely far out-ranking the "meh".

Always good to see you as well One-Eye. If you’re near the Cape next weekend let me know. I’ll be up for the long weekend.

Grats on the anniversary and your new offices!

Ah yeas! PaizoCon ‘12. Truly an epic weekend! I’m headed back for ‘19 if you can get out of Dad duties.

It's good of you to say so, but I know how much of a pain I can be some days. :)

I'm cautiously optimistic the boards will remain open. Also, I still like Cal best.

Ah well fortunately for me I am too awesome for orc bane weapons to harm me. As well there was no one trying to abscond with me wife this last evening (which is always good.) We had a very pleasant evening and enjoyed a fabulous Giogondas with dinner. I do love me my Rhone wines. How are things down in NYC going for you?
