Un/fortunately in this thread top of the page means clothes inside out.
Me, I insist on being old fashioned and going au natural, and I fully encourage you to do so as well!
Inside out? Didn't that fall out of fashion in the early 90's? I think I'll compromise.. and just keep my clothes as they are :P

Oi, so much for a 'relaxing' weekend!
:P
At least some of it was fun!
Saw an acquaintance of mine (Been in a couple of musicals with, also my daughters History teacher) as Scrooge in 'A Christmas Carol' today.
It was an unusual version, where Charles Dickens is asked to tell a story at a Christmas Party, and only agrees if he can make the others participate, so the party-ers all become characters in the story as he is telling it. It was very enjoyable.
Back to the Grind! (In the morning!) ;P

Broke again, but a lot later in the pay cycle than usual. Plus a nice double check incoming at the end of the week.
Got my first bus assignment in a while today. Winter sports starting up. Off to some big track complex in Boston. That should be good for eight hours of driving.
I hope that the bus job goes well.

Good morning Solnes!!
I hope this Monday finds you well!
So far so good, work is going at a nice pace.. people seem to be in good moods.. Moorluck is having a good morning at work thus far, and his boss wants to take our family to dinner this week.. so kinda hard to complain.
Tho I did try to sneak in my morning walk this morning before the rains kicked in, and got caught in the rain right as I got to the park. So I had to walk back to the office in the rain. My hair and clothes have dried, but my feet are still wet and cold :P

Hidey-ho everyone from the far reaches of Canada! Fraser Valley is just digging out from a nasty snow drop, but I managed to make it home after a long final night shift of the year- the plant is shut down for yearly maintenance so we're all off work until the New Year. 4 blocks from home A big rig got stuck on the free off ramp with the rest of us lined up behind like old time key-stone cops while he slipped and spun trying to get up. Meanwhile another rig tried to muscle his way past us on the shoulder, got stuck and had to back down the ramp again, then jack-knifed his trailer at the bottom of the ramp. So now me and the car behind were stuck between these two "professionals". >.< The jack-knifed doofus managed to straighten out after 30 minutes, and we managed to back down the ramp back to the freeway, where I got off at the next exit and finally made it home. What a hell of drive.
In the good news pile I posted this to the local paper's Facebook site: I'd like to make a mention of the fact that there are good people out there working the plows in this city. My 70-year old mother was out this morning at 6 AM trying to shovel her easement before I got home so I would have a place to park (I worked all last night) when the plow came. The driver saw this little silver-haired old lady out in the cold and instead of simply doing his job and clearing the road (and burying her in) he stopped and actually used his plow to help her clear the major part of her easement. Thank you so much for your help and thoughtfulness, whoever you were. It's been a very rough year for our family and this bit of kindness was very much appreciated.

Did I mention that the day before the wedding somebody clipped my car where it was parked in front of the house and took off the driver's side mirror? No note or anything. We went to move my car because people were showing up for the rehearsal, and there it was.
Given my insurance has a deductible, I didn't even bother filing a claim. It wouldn't pay, but they'd have an excuse to raise my rates anyway.

But on a cool note, someone recommended the little body shop at the corner. I told them I was going away for a few days and asked if they could do the work and have it so I could pick it up Saturday. He wasn't open Saturday, so he says, "That's fine. I'll have it in front. Just pick it up Saturday and come back to pay it during the week."
I'm kind of amazed by that level of trust. Clearly, he is getting paid. And $240 isn't bad for that job. Looks good as new.

Aaaaand now watching refrigerators.
My bus run to Boston (well, technically Roxbury-but it's basically the same thing) went well. I was a bit nervous going there in a 40-foot bus, but I had an experienced driver taking the female track team (I had the males) and he led the way and showed me the trick of parking (which was a good thing-as there is little to no real parking there. BAD design). 8 hrs and 20 mins on the clock.
Now an evening of fridge wrangling, and then my final day of Fall classes. And another day of fridge wrangling. Then a bus ride to Taunton. Then another night of fridge wrangling. Then PAYDAY!
