So what is THE worst water based monster you can think of? Would that be water elementals or something that lives in water?

Well elder water elemental is pretty bad because it's made of water, but there's some other really dangerous ones. Shen is really powerful but not really that evil. Probably King Mogaru the kaiju is the worst. But thalassic behemoth and bone ship and really big brine dragon are pretty nasty too!

What's the worst water monster you ever had to fight?

Hmm, well, while I have hatred of constructs and swarms(and pretty much that attacks my mind) since those always almost kill me, I guess have to go with that ooze that grows in size when slashed and infects with tumors. That wasn't fun... I suppose it wasn't hardest monster I have encountered, thanks to a wizard burning them to death, but it certainly was one of more nastier ones.

Now what was BEST monster is much easier question to answer. So, what is the best monster you have ever fought? Best one for me was giant squid wizard.

Those ones you picked for worst water monster weren't even water monsters!

The best monster to fight is something like an elder ice elemental. It can't even fly and it's weak against fire.

Yoon, you have adventured with kineticists of elements other than fire, correct? I was wondering what they said instead of "accepting burn", since fire is the only element that truly burns.

If you could visit another planet, which one would you go to?

My favorite animal is a bonghwang because it's awesome and has fire.

My favorite dragon is futsanglung because it's really strong and has fire, although it's evil, which is mean. I change my mind to magma dragon because it's actually made up of fire.

I don't know that much about planets, so I pick the North Star. Is a star a planet?

No, but its basically a giant ball of burning air that's strong enough to crush a dragon into a nickel. With the right protective gear and spells, you might enjoy it, however. Go ask Erzen if he can cast planar adaptation and interplanetary teleport yet. He owes you a favor.
Those spells sound too strong for Ezren. He's just a wizard, so he has to read all kinds of books to even do anything. That's why he's so old! Also, what's a nickel?
Its a copper piece that's made from wannabe silver.

Like a lectrum but with copper instead of gold?

Lem, are you a goblin? Also shoes help your feet hurt less if the ground is hard or spikey.

I'm not a goblin. They're green and set things on fire and eat babies.

I only set things on fire. And only sometimes.

Don't you have any goblins in Tian Xia?

Yep, and a country of hobgoblins. And we even have kijimunas too, which you guys don't have. Oh, and also, in Avistan, when you offer someone a gift, they just take it. Rude much?
How is accepting a gift rude?
You're supposed to decline a gift the first time to let the person giving it to you know how great a gift it was. If you just accept right away, that means that you either think they gave you a really bad or worthless gift or that you think that you are just far more important than the person giving it to you and so you deserve such a good gift. Either one is bad, but you know those crazy exotic Avistani with their weird cultures, right?
... yeah that's pretty much exactly the opposite of the way things work here. Turning down a gift on the first offering is seen as a rejection of the gift, and trying to offer someone a gift after they've rejected it is seen as begging for their attention and considered... well, kinda pathetic, really.

That's what I mean. Those exotic Avistani do stuff that's rude and titled like that. Why would someone think that being polite is pathetic? It's just pretty weird. But I've gotten used to it a little.

Yoon, Iconic Kineticist wrote:
Why would someone think that being polite is pathetic? It's just pretty weird.

Because it's not considered polite. Politeness would be accepting the gift with a gracious thanks, an acknowledgement of how the gift is useful to you or how it signifies your appreciation, and perhaps offering a gift of your own in return (doubly so if dealing with Fey).

What it comes down to, in the end, is a saying we have in our world (which is a bit of a long shot away from Golarion, or so I'm told): "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". Basically, it's understood that when you're a traveler, you adapt to the culture and traditions of the land you're visiting, rather than attempt to force them to accept those of your home.

... granted, we're not exactly the best at following that bit of advice, either....

I'm an only child, and Noodles is not a Hwan name...what do you mean? Is this because Tian food has noodles in it so you think all Tian people are noodles? I've heard that all Avistani people do things like that, where they say all Tian people are one way, even though there's so many different kinds of people in Tian Xia, like Tian-Min and Tian-Hwan and so many more; even kitsune!
It's mostly the Taldans. They can't help themselves... but even the best of them will give you the urge to push them off a window sill sometimes.

I've seen some of those Taldans before. Like Alain. I wish he could help himself so that you wouldn't have to push him out of a window. One time I saw him kissing a pig. I think he likes his horse more than he likes other people.

Legacy of Fire:
Just use even awesomer fire and then the fire goddess will like you instead. Then the efreet and firebleeder will both be sad because their fire isn't as awesome and so they'll have to both go to the bar and drink fire wine and become friends and go on adventures together and learn that sometimes just having a friend and some fire is enough for them, and they all learned their lesson. The end.

There's spicy food in a lot of places, though Avistan is the least spicy. Hwan food is actually pretty spicy already compared to the more flavorless Avistani food, so it's sometimes hard to say, but several kinds of food from different parts of Tian Xia, Vudra, and Garund can be pretty spicy. Of course, I like Hwan food! Minkaian food isn't bad either. I had a lot of those two kinds growing up. Eomma would cook Hwan style when she was home.

That creepy water girl, who wasn't extra creepy or anything but was creepy because of being watery, called it "elemental overflow" or something, like flowing water, and I think someone else called it an "aetherial wind" or something. Obviously burn is the real name because fire is the best element.

The derro do it because they're dumb. They probably think that since the word is "kidnap" that they have to take me, but then fire beats net, just like fire beats a lot of things.

As far as pictures go, I'd much rather have a derro throwing a net on me than have to put up with something nasty I'm not allowed to burn, like in that other picture in a book you haven't seen.

Any hints on what this other book is ? We want to see more of your adventures.

I think Eomma mighta been one of those oversoul things you're talking about. Her body was old and frail, but her fire still seemed really strong.

I probably wouldn't take over a city, but if I needed to pick one, I guess I would pick Kasai. The Jade Regent's men are the ones who killed Appa...Also, if we're counting ruined cities, I definitely pick Sangoshi, and part of taking it over means taking it back from the water. That's where the siyokoy come from and they killed Eomma.

Greetings, Yoon. It's a pleasure to meet you. I had a question for you regarding kineticist powers in general: What does Burn feel like? Is it an ache, tiredness, a sense of disconnection, or what?

Something most relevant for kinetic healers: Does Burn feel the same for non-kineticists? If not, how does it feel for them?

Thank you very much for your time, Yoon. I want to be able to give proper information to people who are going to a kinetic healer in Kintargo. (Capital city of Ravounel, formerly of Cheliax)

Where did you get the cool dress with the fire pattern on it?

Did you multiclass, or did you get someone else to cast Wizened Appearance on you? I figured you were staying a Kineticist, but the picture makes it look like you're casting it (or are you summoning an elemental that looks like you?).

For me, it feels like a fire on the inside, burning and squirming and making me stronger but not as...I don't know the right word. Normal? Stable? Something like that. I think maybe not-kineticists feel something else, like whatever sort of power they have, or the healer had, is loose in their body and kind of eating at them a little.

Remember when I said I didn't like to "put up with something nasty I'm not allowed to burn, like in that other picture in a book you haven't seen." That's the one! Bleeeeeeargh. That dress the others made me wear was so uncomfortable, and the magic spell made me feel super weird and off-balance. I don't see why they thought I wouldn't fit into a noble ball like I always am! In the picture, I'm making fire because fire is awesome. I didn't cast that dumb spell.
