Me diagnosis be 'Favouriter's Tendon', and fer a pirate's prescription, chop it off with a shark and replace it with a nice rusty hook. Or failing that, take three saucy wenches with a glass o'rum and gunpowder fourteen times a day.
That'll be four doubloons. Thankee!
Seriously, get well soon :)

I thought you were back. I've gotten almost a page full of new favorites without your name anywhere.
Captain Yesterday can't do all your work for you, man, and I can't make references to 90s rock bands in every post to ensure that he does, man!

Come on! You haven't even mentioned Sonic Youth! Dave Navarro almost makes fun of himself, I know the drummer for that I Love you, period song, Soul Asylum....
Did I mention I have over 3,000 songs from the 90s on my ITunes, every last one from CDs I bought :-)

Actually, I took a look at the pictures you shared before, your reference to having had a Mohawk in the past, your general age being about five years older than me, and summized "90s Rock". If I took a stab in the dark, I'd have guessed that you were a grunge man. I would've guessed Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and the like...with a respect for a small handful of newer music, but reservations that everything since 2005 or so has had too much pop infused into it.

I'm also a huge fan of SoCal punk, some ska, rap (not pop rap, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, KRS-1, Dead Prez, The Roots, Beastie Boys, Northern State..)
Making me fire up ITunes...:-)

Folk music, love me some sloganeering anti establishment folk music...
Ha! Corin Tucker Band, 2010!
Rancid and Sublime are actually my two favorite bands, followed, of course by Pearl Jam, pretty much anything Jack White does is awesome, Modest Mouse is f%$*ing epic, kind of like if Pink Floyd drank too much instead of acid :-)

Queens of the Stone Age, Schoolyard Heroes, Slightly Stoopid (I have conspiracy theories about Slightly Stoopid actually), The Ziggens, right up there with my top favorites, Supersuckers, but yeah actually not much after 2005... thanks for making me feel old... :-D

I have 403 albums (I love that ITunes still calls it this) with 4,290 songs, I might be a music nerd...
I'm not a dick about it tho, I don't dismiss music until I listen to it, not a genre snob either, takes all kinds :-)
Edit: man, totally forgot to mention Flogging Molly, one of the best bands of all time, I should be smurfed and feathered :-)

Yeah...I used to follow and care about music, but then somewhere in my 20s something clicked where I was like "It's just entertainment; nothing more than a means to be slightly less bored temporarily that has a diminishing rate of returns."
I actually think it's shame our culture places so much importance on entertainers in comparison to people that actually change the world. My wife and I were talking yesterday about how the average American could pick even a genre of music they dislike and name 4x as many musicians from that group as the could past Presidents, civil rights leaders, canonized saints, inventors, or any other world changing groups of people.
This was spurred by a conversation about Andrew Jackson and Michael Jackson, and how in a hundred years nobody should remember Michael (great entertainment, but only that, entertainment), but nobody will remember Andrew (who while straight up a villain, totally changed the country and probably the world - he certainly ensured there were significantly less Native Americans in it).
Ah yes, Andrew Jackson, a George W. Bush for olden days :-)

I like to call him "America's Hitler", considering his relationship with the natives. Pretty much responsible for as many native deaths as Hitler was Jews, although at least gas chambers and mass executions are much quicker and probably less painful than smallpox and forced marching until you die from exhaustion.

I stopped buying new music about 8 years ago when the last two good music stores closed and we were left with Best buy and target:-(
Now I only get it second hand, usually from Vinnies :-)
Didn't you say you have iTunes?
Also, who buys music? Streaming is free. Even I don't buy music, and you know how my internet is.
YouTube to MP3 if I absolutely can't stream and really REALLY want a song.

Tl, my friend, where have you been?
Having uninterrupted access to neither computer (outside of the daily thunderstorms) nor iPad (having been more-or-less commondeered for the summer by a three-almost-four-year-old). Also, teaching Story-Games" to my three-almost-four-year-old. And what Tacticslioness said. That's where!
On the other hand, we're wrapping up a great three-adventure RL mythic game, in which my wife discovered that her psychic time-manipulating paladin is secretly the last in a long (dying) family line of creatures descended from a nameless alien force of pure law from beyond the stars who was cursed by an alien 'goddess' of chaos, fate, luck, chance, and so on. She now has to figure out how to deal with her mindless lawful ancestor and non-evil but desperate and furious Outer God of whimsy and anarchy. Naturally, she was quite distressed as a dragon-smiting paladin to discover that she was, in fact, part of a long line of alien cobalt 'Dragons'. Heh. Good times.

Microsoft is, frankly, the worst. I hate their "customer service" (which mostly involves wasting your time and hanging up on you) and their privacy policy is the worst. "It's totally private forever unless we change our mind for any reason whatsoever. Also, give us your credit card number." >:(

Also what the deuce is The Stormwind Fallacy, besides what I assume is a rather large and green "marital aid" (as they love to call it on the ads on the local classic rock station)
The term was coined by or about a poster "Stormwind" who posited that Good Roleplaying and Good "Min/Maxing" or "Optimizing" are not mutually exclusive. Any presupposition that they are is thus a fallacy.
