We don't need anyone telling us what to do! I'm sick of being told I need some namby-pamby settlement. I don't need to train, I am completely comfortable with myself just the way I was spawned! I don't need to trade! I'll take everything I own by the skin of my teeth! Tooth skin is a great crafting material. I hope.
So, who's with me? We can't let Big Company push us around any longer, so we need to organize! I'm thinking we form some sort of group, like a corporation or gang or something. We'll need a base of operations, of course—some sort of town maybe? What would we call it? Ideas, people, let's get some ideas flowing! We need to collaborate if we're gonna make this work.

Anyways back on topic before we were rudely interrupted by Part Of The Problem, I was gonna go with "The United Anarchists Front", but then I realized that "anarchy" has the word "narc" in it. Yikes. That was a close one.
Hey, idea: Can we use that "Emerald Lodge" idea? It has a nice ring to it.

KC, please never stop posting. I love it.
One small critique - not enough references to the Alpha Aristocracy who have the power to disincentivise bad behaviour make sensible political choices for their groups literally stop you from playing the game because they hate you.

We'll need original ideas that fit the status quo to make this work. We'll really have to think outside the box using a set of parameters determined by a veteran team of solo players.
"The United Anarchists Front" is a great start, though I think "The United Anarchists Sideboob" would garner more attention.

Oh sorry - Emerald Lodge are the non-anachistic solo-players unite.
The place where a solo PFE player can join without being told what to do.
The place where a solo PvP light player can join without being told to attack this or that company.
The place where a solo-company in good standing can find a place to meet up.
The place where a solo player without teamspeak or mumble still is welcome.
The place where a solo player who only logs on occasionally still can enjou him/herself
The place that wrote several guides how to play PFO solo and get fullfillment out of it.
My bad to be misled by the thread title.

It's not just the Alpha Aristocracy pushing us around either. Those devilish devs keep pushing us around too! They're the reason I can't just go out and solo a tier 2 escalation. They gated so much of this game in ways that soloists can't overcome that some days I feel like rage quitting. Doesn't help that the anti-soloists, the so called 'Community' back the devs one their oppressive game development styles.

I hear that a group of people are making changes to the game code, adding and changing features as they see fit and not just now and then, it's on a regular basis! WHY IS NOBODY DOING ANYTHING TO PREVENT THIS??!!? Am I the only one worrying about this?

Every time something like this is proposed, somebody comes up with some new method of support. Generally, although these frameworks are effective in lifting the organization, there is a concurrent degree of separation between the major factions. As the factions are thus lifted and separated, attention is inevitably diverted away from the actual substance, toward the rift that divides each side.
The practical result, of course, is that B-List organizations end up receiving more publicity than might otherwise be the case, without substantially altering their actual effectiveness in their own right. Padding out the support framework has also been known to be effective in raising awareness.
