Most ioun stones use the normal pricing rules for magic items; the major difference is that they all use the x2 modifier for not using a magic item space on the body. For example, figuring out the price of upgrading a deep red sphere ioun stone from a +2 enhancement bonus to a +4 enhancement bonus is just a matter of using the formula (bonus squared x 1000 gp x2), which gives a final price of 32,000gp; the difference between that and the standard item cost of 8000 gp is 24,000gp.
So, does this mean if I want a Pink and Green Sphere with a +6 charisma it will cost me a total of 72,000gp?

This is for PFS. And this is for a high level character so fame isn't a factor. I just need the cash.
There are no custom items in PFS, you can't use the item crafting rules. You have to find the item in a book that you own.
There are stackable Ioun Stones for Intelligence and Constitution at 24,000 each (+2 per stone, up to 3 stones) but there is no stackable Charisma stone.
What are you using in your headband slot?

If you can find it on the market, yeah. Generally though, you have to make or find things over 16,000gp market price (since that's the highest base price most metropolises offer).
Actually in Golarion (which uses the settlements rules of GMG) the base value of a settlement can be up to 30200gp, so you buy stuff up to 30200gp quite dependable.

I think he is saying "I buy three of these +2 guys that stack for 72,000 gp". Not I buy one for +6 for 72,000 gp.
Yes that's what i meant.

Yes, when a settlement has all of the qualities that gives a percentile increase in base value, the total adds up 30200gp, the settlements that jump into my mind right now with that base value are Kalsgard, Riddleport, Kasai and Chessed.

^^ I just reread it, and adding all special qualities would go to a 110% increase, no ? Won't it lead to a 33600 go base value ?
Magically Attuned: (Increase base value by 20%; increase purchase limit by 20%; increase spellcasting by 2 levels)
Notorious: (Crime +1; Law –1; Danger +10; increase base value by 30%; increase purchase limit by 50%)
Prosperous: (Economy +1; increase base value by 30%; increase purchase limit by 50%)
Strategic Location: (Economy +1; increase base value by 10%)
Tourist Attraction: (Economy +1; increase base value by 20%)

I admit i haven't read the rules so good in order to remember and understand the math but going over the cities one by one:
First of all it's 30400gp, not 30200gp, secondly Chessed isn't even on that level, it has only 25600gp base value and thirdly you might be correct, neither Kasai, nor Kalsgard nor Riddleport have the Magically Attuned trait, so you might be right about the 33600gp as the upper limit, i will re-read the rules in GMG.

I don't understand the discussion about purchase prices.
A pink and green sphere gives a +2 enhancement bonus to charisma. You can't stack multiple multiple enhancement bonuses so three of them don't give you a +6 enhancement. And he can't modify the bonus of a single stone to +6 because he is in PFS. So no amount of money will allow him to get a +6 charisma bonus from ioun stones.

You don't look and the right lists for ioun stones, for INT you would have to use 3 of that ioun stone.
